Trick 113: It's only a Country! I lifted a Helicarrier, you know!

Ace and Nat flew off, landing in the city, looking up at the castle. Natasha climbed down and said "Give me your phone." Ace handed it to her and she took it apart, sending a message secretly.

Ace looked at his phone and sighed to himself, as he sat down, holding his staff. Natasha looked at him and said "What?" Ace replied "That's my only phone…" Natasha waved, "Just get another one. It'll be better."

Ace sighed again and just shook his head, Natasha ignored him and sent her message, saying "Well, we have a bigger problem now? Mind explaining how Ultron even has Destroyer knowledge?" Ace cleared his throat and replied "Well… I might have lent the Destroyer to Tony so he could study it…"

Natasha glared at him, saying "Real smart!" Ace retorted "How was I supposed to know?! Tony is my friend, obviously I will help him when I can." Natasha rolled her eyes and looked around at the people saying "We need to move."

Ace looked around and the people started throwing things at them, telling them to go to hell and other things. He tapped his staff on the ground and an invisible barrier appeared as the things they threw turned to flower petals.

Natasha frowned and looked around before walking off, Ace followed after her, asking "You sent a message?" Natasha looked at the deconstructed phone, saying "Yeah. Only problem is Ultron is monitoring the internet, so I had to send a morse code message to Clint. Hopefully he's watching out for it, otherwise we're gonna find ourselves in a bit of a tough spot."

Ace looked at the castle and said "We should probably get the people out of here…" before looking at her, adding "You too." Natasha looked at him and frowned, "Me?" Ace nodded and said "You're not really…" Natasha frowned at him, asking "I'm not what? Useful?"

Ace frowned and retorted "I didn't say that. It's dangerous here. You could be killed and I would rather not see that happen. Despite my personal feelings towards your actions and profession, I don't want to see anyone die. Can you face a robot army?" Natasha poked his chest, saying "I'll have you know, I am more than capable of fighting and dying just like anyone else!"

Ace waved his hand and said "I was just saying-" Natasha cut him off, saying angrily "And I don't want to hear it! Get it?!" Ace sighed and said "Have it your way." as Natasha walked into a building, ignoring him.

He turned around and walked to the center of the city, saying "Everyone! You have to leave, immediately." the people shouted at him and Ace sighed, tapping his staff on the ground, muttering "Can't you just listen? Is it hard to stay safe?"

Everyone froze as an invisible wave spread throughout the city. Everyone froze and started moving robotically, getting in their cars and driving out of the city. Others walked out, everything was in an orderly fashion as Ace used Imperio.

Time continued to pass as people continued to evacuate one after the other, but there were so many people!

Just as he was evacuating, the Quinjet flew over, dropping people off.

Clint came out along with Tony and Bruce.

Ace looked over and frowned as he saw Pietro and Wanda also coming out along with a red robot and finally Steve.

He tapped on the ground with his staff and chains came out of the ground, wrapping up Pietro and Wanda. Bruce looked over and asked "Nat?" Ace pointed at the building she was in as he walked over to the group.

He frowned at the twins and Steve said "Wait." Ace looked at him, saying "You let them free? Do you realize how dangerous they are? We are trying to rescue people, not kill them."

Wanda hissed angrily "Why do you think we're here?!" Ace retorted "I would like to know as well!" Hermione came out of the Quinjet and said "Master-" Ace held up his hand and said "I told you to watch them. Not let them free."

Tony said "Oh, heavy! I'm gonna go!" before flying off. The red robot looked at Ace and nodded, "Wizard." before flying off.

Clint said "They're just kids, man." Ace frowned and looked at the duo, not buying it, as he asked "You bewitched them again?" Wanda glared at him and Steve said "They just want to help."

Ace retorted "You could've been bewitched. I don't buy it." Hermione was silent as Ace glared at her with disapproval, saying "Bring them back to the skip and stay there." before turning around.

However, Pietro spoke at this moment, "You said before that we have powers to protect the people who don't." Ace stopped and Pietro continued "This is my home. I want to protect the people behind me too! We're heroes too. 'We are the only wall in front of Billions of innocent people.' Let me join that wall!"

Ace turned his head and asked "How do I know you're not lying?" Pietro held his hands out, looking at Ace as he replied "Give me a chance, I'll prove it." Ace looked at him in silence for a few moments, Steve looked at Ace and added "We could use the help."

Clint shrugged and Ace waved his hand, saying "If you betray my trust, you will never see the sun again from the hole you'll be thrown into, I promise you." the chains fell off them and Ace added, "Ultron is resistant to magic."

Ultron bots smashed through the ground and crawled out as Ace finished "Look alive." before waving his staff as several robots were dragged out of the ground and crumpled into solid metal balls.

He walked away and knocked on the ground with his staff, shooting into the sky as a trail of smoke.

Steve turned and said quickly "Wanda, Pietro, Little Wizard, focus on evacuation. Clint, go on." Clint nodded and ran off. Wanda and Pietro ran off as well, and Hermione stood there not sure of what to do.

Steve looked at her and smiled "Don't be scared. We're heroes." before throwing out his shield and sending a robot flying.

Hermione nodded and ran off, flicking out her wand, reducing a robot to ashes as she said "Master, the normal robots aren't resistant."

Ace replied "Good to know." as he pressed out his palm, a pillar of flames, vaporizing a group of robots as he said "Go on, run." as the Imperio was gone. He tapped on the ground again, recasting it and sending the people out in an orderly manner.

Suddenly!

The ground started rumbling and cracks appeared as the city itself started floating into the sky.

Hermione shouted "What the hell!?" Ace replied "You get used to it."

Tony said "Yeah, we got a problem!" Steve asked "Is the city flying?" Tony confirmed "Yep."

Ace walked to the edge and controlled the people to freeze. He looked down as the ground slowly got farther and farther away.

He frowned and pointed down, a slide of ice appeared. The people started sliding down to the ground and Ace stopped as they got too high. He pulled them back before letting them go as they started panicking.

The robots started speaking at the same time in Ultron's voice "Do you see the beauty of it? The inevitability. You rise, only to fall. You, Avengers, you are my meteor. My swift and terrible sword. And the Earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me. It means nothing."

Ace jumped on his broom and flew around the floating city, spreading his hands out as the falling debris turned to flower petals, floating down gently.

The people below were showered in petals as Ultron continued "When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world will be metal."

Ace cleared the debris and Tony flew by him, saying "Get the buildings on top or stop this thing." Ace replied "Haven't stopped a country yet." Tony replied "Always time to learn new things!" as he flew off.

Ace looked at the huge piece of flying rock and took a deep breath, muttering "It's only a country, no big deal, right?" before flying up to the city and passing by buildings, his staff reverted to vambraces and runic rings circled around his arms as he threw his hands out in every direction.

Buildings shattered, turning into cards that formed platforms and carried people to safe places.

He got on his broom and continued, flying right by Wanda, putting up a barrier behind her as a robot fired a blast at her back.

He jumped off the broom and said "Wake up, kid." as he twirled his hands, shooting out a purple lightning bird before melting into the ground and coming out somewhere else, getting back on his broom.

Wanda looked around as the purple bird spun in a circle, going through robots before finally exploding into lightning bolts, zapping more of them.

She looked at Ace flying away, staying silent.

Ace flew close to the ground and ran his hand on the ground, flicking it up as a snake made of stone sprang up, lunging at the robots, devouring them before exploding into cards that flew out, blowing up on more robots.

Tony said "Cap, you got incoming." Steve replied after a moment, "Incoming already came…" as he groaned, asking "Cloak, you got the buildings?"

Ace replied "Turning them to cards at the moment." Steve replied "Good. Little wizard, how's evac?" Hermione said "Um… Good, the people are getting out of the danger zone, however I'm sort of bombarded at the moment…"

Steve said "Pietro-" Pietro already replied "On it!" Steve nodded and said "Alright. Stark, you worry about bringing the city down to safety. Cloak, take care of the debris. The rest of us have one job, tear these things apart. You get hurt, you hurt them back. You get killed…"

He paused before letting out a breath and throwing his shield, "Walk it off."
