Luck and Perseverance

Konoha Village had only been formed a few years ago. Under the jurisdiction of what was now the dissolved Senju clan grew in strength and under the protection of the Uchiha clan grew in prestige. The two clans that symbolized the era of the Warring States had come together to give rise to the largest alliance that could have existed at that time. Konoha (The Hidden Village Among the Leaves) was a large mountain within the Shinobi continent. Thanks to his training, the rest of the feudal lords thought of financing their own shinobi villages. In this way, the Hidden Cloud Village was constituted in the North-East of the continent, between the mountains and valleys of the Thunder Country. At the western end in the sandy plains of the Wind Country, the Hidden Sand Village was created. The hidden village of the Rock in the North region, between the plains and rocky valleys of the Land Country. And the Hidden Village of the Fog, located to the East, in the middle of the sea, between the archipelagos of the Water Country. There was talk that there were more shinobi villages scattered around the mainland but considering the economic strength of the Thunder Country (where the Cloud Village was) and the Fire Country Military Force (where Konoha was), they could not be regarded as a care force.

Konoha, the village led by Hashirama Senju, was largely prosperous and feared on the same magnitude. It was a difficult place to penetrate, especially for its users of magical eyes (vulgar term to refer to users of eye techniques). Each was equivalent to the best tracker each village could have. And considering that there were two clans of different types, it was crazy to try to get closer. First there were the Hyuga, who were expert explorers once they awakened their eye power called Byakugan. On the other hand, there were the Uchiha, a bellicose clan who with their sharingan could read any change in the landscape and perceive any movement in the shadows with total clarity. However, this last clan, year after year was abandoning the old ways. They were still among the strongest in the village, but without their leader they had ceased to be what they were. Now they could only be considered average warriors and without the strength of the sharingan, they would never stand out. So each Uchiha put his greatest effort into awakening his eye power.

On the other hand, Madara Uchiha, that was the name of the man who one day led the Uchiha clan and one of the strongest in Konoha. He was a man whose pride was second only to his skill on the battlefield. With the death of his brother and the encouragement of his best friend(Hashirama Senju),I try to leave the old disputes behind. I help build the village, but with the passage of time it became out of place. So, he began the search for a new goal that in turn, took him away from the village. The leadership of the clan was left to the clan elders, who did not take long to appoint a new replacement.

Madara didn't care who he was, once he was chosen and introduced to him, he looked at him just like an insect and said, "I count on you." She then left aimlessly, leaving a young pregnant woman and an elderly mother-in-law to take care of her. He was outside fighting the strongest in each village and after a year, he returned challenging Hahirama Senju to a death match. It only remained for Madara to release a single fire technique to bring the entire Konoha village into chaos. Many wanted to join the efforts to stop it. However, Hashirama Senju knew better than anyone else the scope of his friend's strength. So he refused, they would only be a hinob, even if the one helping was his brother. Therefore, he fights alone and push Madara away from the Leaf Village. In a wooded valley where they had their final battle.

From the backyard of her house, the old lady Naori Uchiha could hear the rumble of the scandalous combat that Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju had.

She, raised in another era, in which being a warrior was an honor and not an obligation, smiled at such a terrifying spectacle. For Konoha Village it was a time of great tribulation, if the demon Uchiha won it would be the end for everyone, but for Naori... For Naori the explosion of the fire that rose to the heavens, the destruction of the mountain and the impact of the blows were like the chords of a melodious song. It was the fire of the warrior burning with all his strength at its finest.

Suddenly a big buzz was heard in the air, so loud that he had to cover the hatreds at the same time that a shock wave traveled pushing the branches of the trees back. Then the hum ceased which was replaced by a sound suctioning the air. A loud impact and the loud crackling of wood were heard. Suddenly the sounds disappeared, but the next instant, several kilometers from the village, there was a big explosion.

-I hope you are enjoying your fight, Madara- said the old lady Naori. A strong wave of air waved his hair and the trees stirred at the same time. However, due to the distance there were no major repercussions.

Naori kept watching from the small five-step staircase that connected the floor of her house to the courtyard. Like other traditional constructions, the house had a double-sloping roof and the floor was tatami placed on wooden stumps. The walls were made of wood and the doors and windows were sliding, with paper paintings that made the movement agile.

Naori heard another loud impact that raised another flare into the sky. However, he suddenly captured with his only eye the movement among the shadows, at the end of the courtyard, between the trees. He activates his right eye, changing the shape of his pupil and showing his elegant blood-red mangekyo. The iris was shaped like a cherry leaf with three petals. This eye that saw many battlefields was his pride and confidence to this day. Since apart from her master and her, no one else owned him in the entire clan.

That way, the figures in the darkness faded away. Naori put off his mangekyo, the ultimate evolution of the sharingan, and concentrated once again on combat. Then he turned around, forgetting the struggle that was gradually waning and climbed two steps to face a lustrous wooden corridor that bordered the house. Naori smiled upon hearing this, as on one side there was sadness behind her, but there was also a new possibility in front of her. Maybe his master's son was accomplishing what no Uchiha had achieved so far.

Between ramblings and thoughts, the cry of a child filled the night along with the last rumble that came from a far. Naori Uchiha shed a tear for her teacher, Madara Uchiha, while at the same time, she rejoiced at the arrival of her grandson. She pulled a handkerchief from the sleeve of her kimono and wiped her eyes with the subtlety of a lady of refined origin. He smiled and opened the sliding door illuminating the hallway and at the same time, his life.
