Six years ago...

"Dad, I can't do this. I love Adrian I can't do without him Dad", Evelyn cried till her face turned red.

" Really?" Are you just infatuated with him or do you know what you are doing?" The father Edward Williams scolded the daughter as his lips curled in mockery.

Hitting his staff on the tiled floor, he made his final decision. "You are leaving for Florida tomorrow morning precisely by eight, get whatever rubbish has filled your mind out of your mind and as for that ingrate who dared to lay his stinky finger on my daughter.....".

Went down on her knees immediately and the father was exasperated, " Dad for my sake please don't hurt him".

The father almost died out of anger, still pleading for that dirty rat..... He thought for a while and decided to calm down. His late wife left him a treasure which is Evelyn and he promised to take care of her and dote on her till his last breath.

Where has he gone wrong? Was it a crime to spoil her to this extent?

"Get up and get back to your room. You have to eat something, you went on hunger strike just for the sake of.....", Clenched his fist as anger surged through him.

Evelyn stood up and hugged her frail frame, she swayed and fell. The father reacted immediately and swooped her.

"Get the car ready", he shouted to the bodyguards who swung into action.

At the hospital........

The entire second floor was cordoned off, off-limit to others apart from Edward Williams who owns the second largest company in Mexico. He kept pacing up and down the entire length of the floor, holding his forehead as he pondered on why the daughter suddenly fainted. A thought popped into his mind but he quickly dismissed it. That can't be... He scratched his beard, he seemed to have aged five years more making him seem like a 50year old man.

The door opened and the doctor came out.

"What exactly happened to my daughter", felt anxious.

Keeping his head low, he didn't know how to share the seemingly good and bad news.

"Your daughter is fine, she fainted due to a minor issue. You must brace yourself for this news your daughter is six weeks pregnant...."

Fireworks exploded in the father's head, that can't be.....

"What I mean is that she cannot be agitated at the moment because she is in a critical period of pregnancy. Her body constitution is poor and she needs to maintain the right frame of mind to enable her to nurture this pregnancy well".

Edward Williams's suspicion came through just as he predicted, so that bastard has done his worst, huh?

"She simply can't keep the pregnancy, she has to abort it", he said through gritted teeth.

" Getting her to abort it is simple but she may never get pregnant in future", the doctor wiped imaginary sweat and wondered why these rich people make decisions rashly.

"I simply don't care, get her to the theatre and operate on her right away".

".....", Doctor sighed internally.

Unknown to them, Evelyn had woken up due to the noise and overhead their discussion. She was frightened and excited at that moment. She rubbed her tummy while exclaiming that this is the fruit of their love. Her expression gradually became cold as she remembered that her father wanted to abort her baby, no way would she allow him to do such as cruel thing.

She thought of what to do... She has to go see Adrian. He has the right to know about his baby, I mean their baby. A smile came upon her lips as she anticipated his reaction.

Present-day.....

A tall handsome man took long strides into his private elevator with his bodyguards trailing behind him. He has made it in the field of technology, the youngest CEO in history and the most wanted bachelor. Taking a look at the past, he can proudly say his hard work has paid off.

"Sir, the meeting with E- cads limited will hold in thirty minutes in the Conference room", he continued to rattle on as he listed out his schedule to him for that day.

"Get the public relations department to announce our upcoming banquet/donation".

"Yes sir and ...."

"Don't forget to dispatch those invitation cards to those I told you before anything else".

He rubbed his forehead as he was already tired of the daily. He has to take a flight out of the country for his next meeting.

"Book my flight for 4 pm, am going to Seattle from then. I need to discuss my next collaboration for the siting of a new branch"

His assistant sympathised with him, he has been working himself out for the past few years. He hoped he can take a break and start a family. Although he can't break through his ice-cold behaviour, he is a real loner indeed.

He entered the office and took off his jacket.

"Get the necessary documents for the collaboration and what else..... "

" Sir, you have a lunch date with Miss Donna at around 2 pm at.... "

Cut him off rudely, " cancel it immediately, I don't have much time to waste".

This woman dares to invite our CEO out for a lunch date. Well, she has gone all out to seduce Adrian Miles.

The personal assistant tactically left him and he began to do his work for the morning. He has been having sleepless nights for many years now. No! Ever since he couldn't hear from her anymore. His calls couldn't go through, her house seemed empty and his emails went unanswered.

He twirled his pen absent-mindedly for some time and got lost in his thought. Darn it! this girl will be his death of him.

The secretary opened the door and apologized frantically.

"Sir, I tried to stop her but she insisted on..."

Adrian waved her away and she secretly glared at the heavily made-up and seductive lady.

"Hey Adrian baby, I missed you...", she said in a sickening voice, proceeded to seat on the table and stretched forth her long nails to grab his tie.

He swatted her hand away and she feigned anger.

"Ok you are in a bad mood I get it. You don't have to do this to me. Ok I have this problem with you, you are so cold".

Adrian relaxed on his chair and looked at her with disdain written all over his face.

He regretted that one-night stand he had with her in his drunken stupor. He believed he has targeted else nothing of sort would have happened.

"Ok baby, back to business. I'm here to get the usual cheque" pushed up her boobs to the maximum level.

"Have you no shame?"

"It's my body we are talking about man, you practically dug me and here you are complaining. Your skills are not that great though you have the body physique", she clicked her tongue and chewed her bubble gum loudly.

He wondered how he got himself associated with this bitch. He sighed, picked up his phone and sent her some money.

Her phone alert went off, she grabbed it, flipped through it and smiled faintly.

"Your secret is safe with me ok, in case you need to warm your bed, I'm just a call away", she blew him a kiss, swayed her behind and sauntered out of his office.

He released the breath he never knew he was holding.
