It Had Been a While

Tang Shi Yi did not doubt that Ye Heng and his family would be able to prepare a wedding within a few months. Moreover, she was not that picky.

As long as she could get married to the person she loved and had her loved ones around to bless her, that should be enough.

Thinking about a wedding made Tang Shi Yi look at Ye Heng in a daze.

It was hard to believe that she got together with someone she had secretly loved for years. He reciprocated her feelings and they will soon be married.

"Shi Yi?"

The voice snapped her out of the trance. 

Tang Shi Yi looked up and saw Ye Heng pointing at something in her hand.

"It's going to melt if you don't eat it fast."

She followed Ye Heng's line of gaze and saw that her popsicles were melting. Tang Shi Yi moved swiftly to lick the ice.

"What were you thinking about?" Ye Heng asked.

"The wedding." Tang Shi Yi smiled. "It's a little hard to believe that we're getting married soon."
