Piercing through the Fog

The theme of the Geoshinio temple was to cleverly navigate through a maze of walls, and Leonard entered the first hall with a perplexed expression on his face. To the left was a room with a large thick "X" shaped gap on the outer wall, and in front, a very large rectangular pit that seemed impossible to jump across directly. Leonard walked into the room and saw a strangely shaped object on the floor - it was made of three rectangular stone slabs connected at the edges, very long from the front, and if viewed from the side, it formed an X.

Using his Ultimate Hand, he lifted the object into mid-air and after a slight adjustment, carried it through the "X" shaped gap into the main hall. Leonard returned to the hall, placed the object over the pit, and it connected both sides perfectly.

Leonard proudly jumped onto the object, thinking the first level wasn't hard.

But as the object had an upright middle and flat sides, Leonard lost focus, forgot to jump, and fell into the pit. Fortunately, the pit wasn't deep and there were stairs to climb back to the hall. Leonard returned to the hall panting and sat down.

He thought that the designer of this level was quite generous, at least leaving a sliver of hope - thinking back to the last temple where he was swept away and nearly drowned, he was still in a cold sweat.

The second level required navigating with two huge cubic components, which looked like a massively enlarged version of the Chinese character "品", minus one box. Leonard placed this component in the recess on the ground, used it to jump up to the second floor, and opened a chest. Inside was a Swift Potion. A divine message entered Leonard's mind, "Swift Effect Lv2. A medicine that improves motor nerves, making all movements, running, climbing, swimming, faster." Next, Leonard sent the character-like component with the missing box through the window gap into the room, similarly "inserting" it into the ground to climb onto the high platform on the second floor.

He had now reached the deepest part of the temple.

"O visitor who purifies the ancient evil sealed in this temple! You've done well to reach this far... The Light of Exorcism is stored here, now let it shine upon you. The Light of Blessing will become your power..." Two gods spoke, giving Leonard a Light of Blessing.

When teleported out of the temple, he landed directly on a blue magic circle. It was then that Leonard realized that the blue magic circle was a teleportation array, and the green ones were mostly for opening doors.

Outside on the plains, it was raining heavily. Yellow sparks flashed in the sky from time to time, a sign of thunder and lightning. Leonard wanted to cross the plains quickly and return to the fortress to rest, so he ran wildly in the rain.
