Demon's Thoughts

Having calmed down from the emotional rollercoaster that Hiranya the dead demon's life was, Rakshasa thought about his future with a fresh mind, in a brothel's enclosed drinking room, The Demon was Scheming important matters.

first of all, he thought about his current situation.

As he was now, he was a Demonic Cultivation Genius, NO, a Demonic-Human cultivation Genius

and he surely wanted to become a strong person, as, in his opinion, only the strong get to choose and have their own opinions, whereas, weak only deserved pity and suppression

BUT!

Yes, BUT, he didn't have any cultivation path to follow at all, so he was currently in a major dillema

in the Demonic cultivation path, two things are given major importance,

One, Bloodline. Two, Demonic Totems.

their cultivation was pretty much focused on these two aspects, what they had to do was, use various methods to develop their bloodline and then fuse with Demonic Totems,

throughout Rank 1 to 5 they will constantly purify their bloodline to a stronger version,

with a great example being,

Rain Demons,

who goes on to become River Demons, Sea Demons, Cloud demons and then Water Demons, Reaching the water element's origin through different forms of water as their core power.

and they also fuse with a new demonic totem after every rank up, getting it's ability while fusing too,

Demonic totems are tattoos made using every ounce of energy extracted from Elemental Beasts, a creature found in massive numbers throughout South heaven, they have their on ranks ranging from 1 to 9 in strength, but they are not sentient, but they all have special abilities of some sort, even if it's only a single ability even for rank 9s.

but after extracting their energy and turning them into tattoos to fuse with, they become a source of strength for the demon's

with specific combination abilities using compatible abilities of totems together giving birth to unstoppable war machines among them.

even though it was a very straightforward path while saying, the constant Emotional Tribulation that a Demon has to face once every year which will consistently increase in might with the passage of years kept reducing the total number of demons

in regards to tribulations, Demons had one of the worst.

and as for why Rakshasa was in a dillema,

According to his demonic school knowledge, The First Demon Realm Of Cultivation,

Birth Realm, required you to have only the demonic bloodline inside you.

and as a half-human, Hiranya could never achieve that until his death.

you could cleanse different bloodlines out of your system with the help of enormous money, but Hiranya was a pauper, and his parents, when alive, weren't rich either

otherwise, they won't use untamed totems for cultivation.

So, he gave up cultivation, it's not like it increases longevity, only angel cultivation increased longevity,

and as demon's were born eternal creatures in regards to longevity, they can only die due to illness or failing their yearly emotional tribulation, which will end any and everyone who was overconfident in their own eternal identity.

so cultivation wasn't given much importance in regards to themselves for many people, untalented people mainly,

Why?, in societys like Demonic society, which has a very peaceful system on the surface, they believe themselves to be safe, and as the cultivation doesn't increase anything other than charm and strength, some slothful and idiotic people, or even people bored of it, stop or not try at all in the aspect of cultivation.

it was similar to mortal Gyms' situation,

and as a very below average person, Hiranya didn't bother trying to cultivate while betting all his father and mother's savings on his expected talent to be high enough to make him a genius,

so he remained a mortal till today

but Rakshasa was not Hiranya, He wanted strength, he wanted to be the one who suppress and not the one who gets suppressed,

so he was thinking seriously about his future cultivation path now,

as he cannot follow true demon path at all, and he was unwilling to remove his human bloodline even if he had money, which he did not, too...

so there was only one path ahead,

If he didn't have a path to walk, he will have to create one himself....
