Life Of A Young Author

Klein, a high schooler who has been locking himself in his room ever since he lost his best friend. His mother never bothered pushing him to go to school. He continued writing until his fifth book was published online. Suddenly, a reader of his reaches out to him and wishes him luck with his new book. It was normal to him but when he checked the person’s account, he saw their past comments. Turns out they had commented a lot on his book and he reads every comment written by them. He was shocked to find the person pointing out his mistake and their opinion on his book. Not a full 5 stars review! Never once he felt hurt by review until this person appears. K: Do you mind if I offer you to be my assistant. K.DMed.ME: O.O? And that...is how Klein made his first friend. ~ Warning: Contain(s): slight bl Not so good English triggering topics ~ Criticism are welcome in the comment section!

On Weekends, Klein wrote more chapters which is why his reader looks forward more at weekends. Their favorite novel getting more updates is what makes their weekend not boring. When Klein finally decided to introduce another villain in his story, he thought for a while before deciding to text Han.

K: As a reader, what do you expect a villain in a novel to look like?

Han^^: I would expect an ugly villain but there's always some of those damn artists out there that would draw them more handsome than how you describe which makes me simp for the villain instead!

K: …alright. Now I know why a lot of people sympathize with Robin.

Han^^: Robin is not really a villain in my opinion. You really suck at writing villains.

Klein irk but ignore the boy. His stomach makes a loud noise and it is a clear sign for him to go eat. Since his mother even works on weekends, he had no choice but to cook for himself. He looks through every cabinet and ends up with a disappointed face.

"Seems like god forgot about me."

He grabbed a hoodie and his wallet before walking outside. It's not like he hasn't been outside but the sunray hurts his eyes so much. When he enters the supermarket, he sees a familiar novel lover which makes him turn around.

The boy was happy to see Klein and grab his hood.

"Klein! Fancy seeing you outside!"

"You remind me what pain feels like."

"Nice joke! Are you shopping? Want me to help?"

Han pulls out a trolley and walks beside Klein who picks up different types of noodles. While the guy looks for other food he could eat, Han slowly puts back some of the noodles. He also wonders if the guy eats something other than noodles because…that's some serious noodle obsession problem.

"Do you eat something other than noodles?"

"...If I eat something other than noodles…I tend to throw up."

"It's probably because you are used to eating it, everyday? Why not try eating normal food until you're used to it too!"

"I don't want to puke everyday."

"Go to the doctor and ask them for medicine or something!"

Klein puts the noodles into the trolley and stares at Han with an 'Are you serious' face. Han gave him a thumbs up with a wide smile. Klein would love to avoid the hospital because he hates the doctor. The doctor was strict when he was locked up in hospital and he was kind of scared of them.

Han saw Klein look down while shaking a bit. Putting his hand on his shoulder, Klein looked at Han and saw him giving a gentle smile. They continue buying food and Han even put inside some yogurt and healthy foods for Klein to try. They pay for it and Han follows Klein until he reaches his house.

"Do you want to try eating healthy meals for once? I can cook you porridge-"

It was too late. Klein has already started cooking his noodles without waiting for Han. Han had no choice but to cook next to Klein. He cooks porridge like how he promised and when they both serve their food, Han exchanges his porridge with Klein's noodles.

"But-"

"No but! Try eating it slowly! If you really can't eat it, I will give you your noodles."

Han picks up the spoon and takes a bit of porridge. He slowly blew it before shove it into Klein's mouth. Klein had no other choice but to open his mouth and eat the porridge. "Don't chew so fast. No one will take it away from you." This makes Klein chew slower.

Like, slower than he usually does when he's eating his noodles. When he finally swallowed it, he waited for it but he never felt like puking. This makes him blink and he opens his mouth again. Han was happy the boy liked it and fed him again.

Klein ends up taking the spoon away from Han and eating himself. Han on the other hand starts eating the noodles Klein cooks but it was spicy. Sadly, his assistant can't stand spicy food. Klein had to give him a cup of water.

He saw his assistant reach for the eggs and crack one egg into the boiling noodles. Now what is he thinking? He saw his assistant back with the noodles and happily eats it without crying.

"I thought you can't eat spicy food..?"

"Yeah! The egg reduces the spiciness."

"...?"

Han fed him some noodles and Klein realized it was not as spicy as how it used to taste. They finish eating and Han sees Klein stare at his laptop. "You know…I know you're K." This caused Klein to cry mentally. He can't handle people knowing his identity but Han points at his laptop.

"I won't judge you so why don't you write right now and I will help you now too?"

"...Sounds good."

He started writing the first few paragraphs with Han reading next to him. Han is impressed by how fast his hand type on the keyboard and how can this guy think of what to write while typing that fast!

"How do you spell Dodgeball?"

"Pfft-"

Klein realize he ask something dumb and look it up instead.

"Sorry~ Just go back. It's D-o-d-g-e-b-a-l-l."

"Thanks…"

When he's done with it, Han gives him a thumbs up and he publishes them. Not one but three chapters. Han happily pulls out his phone to reread the three chapters. Klein is sure his assistant loves reading. He looks up for a book and puts it on Han's lap.

"What is this?"

"...Comic version of 'War Hero'. I ask an artist to draw it but of course I never publish it."

"EH! You're giving me?! Really?!"

"I have the original with a color version. That's not a color version so it's not a big deal."

Han smiles and gives him a hug and Klein slowly returns it. He didn't know he would be that happy but knowing the guy works with him for free, at least he can give that comic as a thanks.
