Astral Wings

The peaceful life of a young teenager takes a sharp turn as he grows a pair of large black wings a year before his awakening as a "Cliff Dragon." On top of that... He discovers that his peaceful(?) life was determined to be destroyed, to be killed for the sake of other people. The novel he had read came to life. Did he go back in time...? Memories blended with each other, both of the current him and the 'him' from the novel... The god that had chosen him had many secrets... his best friend disappeared. He had just gained an ally or three, but what if things didn't go according to the novel he had read? In every life of the protagonist, nothing was every the same, there were huge butterfly effects everywhere he went, so... which life was this one? He was once again introduced to the game of Desparadise. A desperate act for others, and a paradise for some. All of these things happened at once, making his mind hazy, often waking up and not knowing when are where he was. What could he rely on? "You... how are you alive?" Feelings bottled up deep down that he didn't even know existed have revealed themselves. "Really... that's the first thing you say? Would you prefer it if I was dead? Fuck, don't you care about your other companions?!" But then he found out something weird... ...why did the protagonist ask that question? He was supposed to die near the climax, so why did he ask that question... when it was simply the beginning? Or was it...? Certain that this life was past the one where he had died, the world changes once again. Humans were tested, what was their purpose? In the face of the system, this young man roared out, "Fuck this. Fuck you, crappy protagonist. Fuck the world!" System, [...] The system was speechless after it heard the young man's declaration as it watched him run away with a bag stuffed to the brim that multiple gold coins spilled out. Are you serious??? At least be more convincing with your actions bro! +++++ Coming soon(?)

Beginning of The Labyrinth

“This is a punishment. You won’t remember what happened. You will never remember your sister, as she won’t remember you.” Then grabbed her left arm, and injected the fluid. Making Ellenore feel a little dizzy, her last words were, “Why won’t she remember me,” then heard the last thing the man said. “She’s being experimented on. Just a little surgery to implant a chip in her head where we can control the minds. Same with the others, same for you. Tomorrow, you won’t remember that nine year old brat,” and walked out. Before the girl can do anything, she faded into darkness. The next day, Ellenore woke up in her darkened gloomy dorm with a headache. She would turn on the light switch to brighten up the room a bit, but it will hurt her eyes. She was thankful for what the people gives her. It was pancakes, her favorite, but wasn’t hungry. “I guess I’ll just have it later,” she thought, and left it on the table. All she was wondering was what happened. She looked at the door in front of her, wanting to remember what happened yesterday, wishing she can get all the answers to the questions she has someday. She stood up and walked towards it to see if it was locked. Turning the knob, it wasn’t. She opened the door and looked from left, right, and ahead at the empty hallways. She felt determined to get back to work, as it is the only way to find a cure.

A Hero Among Us

Synopsis:     Adam Hayze, an orphan whose parents were famously known for their incredible prowess as healing Super Heroes. Hayze dreamed of following in their footsteps, but his superpower paled in comparison to theirs, and he had to face the reality that he could never become a hero. Hayze didn’t give up, though, and he trained his mind and body day in and day out to triumph over his shortcomings. However, his efforts weren’t enough to get into the school he always dreamed of attending, U.A., the best hero education institute in the country. After failing the preliminary entrance exam for the 9th time, a board member arrives at his home one day to inform him he only has one more chance to pass. The news forces Hayze to face his greatest fear: losing his dream. All hope seems lost when a doctor makes him a unique offer.      Background:     This is a My Hero Academia Fanfiction (Original, I know). I started writing this back in March of 2019, entirely on a whim. I literally woke up one and day and said: I’m going to write this. Fast forward 31 months later, and this series is 2,742 pages and 167 chapters in length. I’ve written every chapter for just two friends to read, and that’s it, but they’ve been telling me for a long time that others would enjoy it. So, here it is. There is A LOT of context that I feel is important, not to understand the story, but to understand my writing process. This story allows the reader to see my evolution as a writer. I'm not perfect grammatically, and I definitely am flawed, and that's especially visible early on, but that's part of the story's charm (for me). I recommend reading this doc to help decide whether this book is something you'd like to read: https://tinyurl.com/2rvdfh2x

It Doesn't Matter, 'Cause Nothing Matters

Back home, War-torn!Tom (Mid-20th century Brighton), only fourteen, would've had his family to build him back up if it weren't for the zombie apocalypse and the jarring teleportation to another universe. He was a teenager, and he came as an imperfect package to the Watsons, with a crackwhore birth mom and genetic, hormonal depression because of her. They didn't even learn of his condition before he was forcibly separated from them, his mom, dad, and two brothers, in a crowd of panicked people. He makes friends, plenty of them, and survives as best as he can, just holding out until he finds every member of his family, safe and sound, hopefully. All he has is hope, which is thin in a war-torn world. Until he's transported another dimension. Back home, Vampiric-sight!Thomas (18th century Great Britain), sixteen, would try to escape his possessive family at any cost, but they wouldn't even give him the mercy of killing him. He was handicapped from birth, blind and regarded as weak, until he met a strangely kind and warm Wilbur. He only learns that him and his kin are cold-blooded ones when he's forcibly turned and hoarded in their coven. The Micrafes are a powerful family, and he has no chance of escaping, even with his new gift of sight. Sight of truth. He knows that his new family are not lying when they say they love him, but not in a way anyone would prefer. They use violence and manipulation as means of getting people to stay, and even Tommy sees that Wilbur and Technoblade used to be like him, that Phil used to be like all of them. He's too scared and focused on his survival to sympathise, though. Who he becomes because of them is broken, and not bright, and who he once was starts to fade. Until he's transported somewhere he doesn't know. In the here and now, Aishite!Tommy (22nd century Manburg), seventeen and counting, would give anything to see his family look at him. Truly look at him and see who he is, and love him for it. He lives a modern life in a futuristic world, with advanced technology, space exploration, and even superpowers granted by government issued scientists, to create better (or perhaps more efficient) law enforcement. Unfortunately for them, criminals get ahold of these experiments and serums and turn themselves into supervillains. Soon everyone with money or means to steal can become powerful, and passed through genes, generations become more enhanced and powerful. His family, with no recorded last names in order to remain hidden, are government issued heroes, and he's cannon fodder, adopted in order to appear kind and gracious in public eye. But Tommy has only ever felt love from the Crafts when they first met, and wants it back, deep down. He puts on the suit of a vigilante and tries to live up to becoming a hero, disguising himself as a hero in training and gaining their favour. They have no idea who he is, and don't keep tabs on their black sheep in order to figure it out. But as stakes rise and Tommy begins to realise they'll never see who he is under the mask without hating him forever, he loses hope of having a family.  Until two kids his age who look a lot like him appear out of nowhere in his secret base (which is really just a small backyard shed one of his vigilante friends procured for him). Both as scared as him, both with similar names and derivatives, and similar family, yet so different. As Aishite-Tommy struggles to keep them secret and get them back home, they eventually have to work together and better understand each other in order to juggle everything that's going on, on top of the government's dictator, or President Schlatt, planning to tip the economy in favour of the rich, mostly himself, and destroy anyone that gets in his way.
