Chapter 7 : Marlin De Cloria

So , as I wrote down my thoughts into a paper . I actually found a two way path . Like if I am in another world my existence will be lost in another .

And yes ; the time I left in one place , if I return then I will return at the same time on that place ! It was like I can control my two life .. such a rare opportunity I can get !! I got my head straight ..

"I have to give the medicines to grandma !"

As I went to her room to give medicines . She was slightly asleep . Hearing the door opened , she woke up . She took the glasses and looked at me . She then gave a faint smile and raised her hand to tell me to approach her . I then walked properly and grabbed her weak hand .

" I'm here , grandma ." She likes to hear this words . It makes her feel that someone is beside her . I have her the medicine . She then sighed .

" Seems like you're in good mood !" , she smiled.

"....yeah!", I said . Nice things are going on .

"Is that so ?"

I nodded my head speedily .

After a moment she sighed ...

"I'm sorry you had to go through all this ...", she grabbed my hand . I saw her sad look. It was look asking for forgiveness since grandma is from Madame Rosalia's family but she can't even protect me from them ..

"It's alright , grandma"

She patted my head . I just acted like a cute puppy begging for grandmas love . It was overwhelming and it was after a long time . After one year perhaps .. she doesn't know about it too .

" I hope to hear your story soon!"

Ahh.. a story . Grandma used to hear my daily works or whatever story I want to share ; she would hear it all . She laughed at my jokes and became happy with my works . Mostly all the stories are common and boring but she hears it with a new look.

"Grandma , this time the story will be different !"

"Really ? What kind of story ?", she asked.

"It's a story about a common girl turning into a princess"

"My, that's interesting ..!"

"Yes, I'll tell you all about it tomorrow.( I have debutante ball coming up . I'll tell you about that too)

She hugged me before going to sleep, "I'm pretty much looking forward for tomorrow. Hope this old person becomes better by then!"

I hugged back, "Yes"

As she slept , I looked around to see if anyone was near . When I went to change into my night gown . I sneak and saw everyone was dead sleep . Sina was snoring loudly … I wore my gown and went to the door . I looked back one last time and entered my beautiful world . Same time same place I left -

After I saw my maid looking all worried looking for me ! She came rushing after seeing me out of nowhere …

"Milady where have you been? I was looking for you all over ?!", she said while huffing .

"...i am sorry *laughs* ", I was playing like a fool infront of her

She heaved a sigh and called other maids . Suddenly I saw crowds of maids rushing over to me. I got scared . They got all creepy smiles . They all came up with a pile of dresses with them . All expensive dresses and jewels a girl would wish for !

But still -

"ANYONE SAVE MEEEEEEEEE!"

After two hours worth, finally they designed and put in makeup on me . I starred myself in the Mirror. Even though I know I'm not pretty . But I can't believe myself . I touched the glass and pinched my cheeks .

"I look pretty …"

All the maids have worked hard since it's my first debut . It's one of the most important so it's worth all the time .

"Milady you look so pretty !!"

"Kyaaaaaaa ! Our lady is the most beautiful "

"Indeed …", even the head maid nodded .

" Thanks everyone !!"

I went down the stairs and saw my family already ready and waiting for me . I greeted them with a smile . Loren was already in a white suite matching with dad . In their neck the symbol of the count family was embroidered.

It was a symbol of a sparrow .My mother wore a red sexy dress . Even in her thirties my mom is Gonna get a lot of admirers . Even my dad is worried *laughs*

Then my dad came upto me and as a courtesy I gave my hand . He kissed at the back of my hand and told -

"My daughter will be shining tonight !"

Then a nice carriage was prepared . Everything felt like a fairytale .. I was like I was dreaming …

As we went past , I saw the gates of the royal palace opened. My heart was racing as we went inside . As we went inside my father gave the invitation and the guard announced the name …

" The Count Cloria and his family makes their appearance!!" Everyone's eyes were on us .

As we went inside I saw some wondered looks and some hostile ones . My father was a renowned Person and a person who has a great contribution to the empire . So it's reasonable some are burning with jealousy since he also has emperors favour.

As we went inside I noticed huge amount of stares . But I'm not afraid . I'm not Marlin who is a commoner . I clenched my fist , in a new world with a new identity of a loving family -

" I AM MARLIN DE CLORIA!"
