Victor has had nothing to look forward to since the death of his mother four years ago. The wealthy families saw his orphan status as the perfect excuse to trick another innocent and vulnerable youth into servanthood with promises of good money. Four year later he is as frail and underfed the young man working at the the biggest herb garden in the city. One day, he is on his way home he is approached by a man who offers him three wishes.
