Chappie 4

"Wow! are you chasing me away? I'm hurt!"

Nigel put his hands over his heart and pretended to be hurt.

Viola rolled her eyes at him. He was being too over dramatic.

"Well.....you see, I was wondering if you would like to visit...." he began but before he could finish the sentence, Viola's sister Vivian interrupted.

"Big sis! Big sis!"

"Vivian ! what on earth is wrong?!". Viola stared at her sister worriedly. She walked up to Vivian and began checking her body for any sign of injury.

"I'm fine sis, stop treating me like a baby"Vivian whined , trying to get away from her sister. "The Visitors will be here soon!".

How could she possibly forget?. The entire kingdom has been buzzing with excitement ever since it was announced that the king of Bonehelm and his envoy would be visiting .

"Come on sis! His carriage will be passing by any second". Vivian tugged on her sister's arm and dragged her outside. Nigel followed after them.

Vivian was bouncing around, she was extremely excited.

A lot of people were also crowding the streets trying to catch a glimpse of the royal envoy .

After a while, a carriage could be seen passing through the crowd. It was a luxurious carriage pulled by four dark horses. The carriage was pitch black with purple jewels and white bones decorating the exterior.

The curtains of the carriage were drawn so no one managed to get a glimpse of the king. It was heavily guarded, with knights on horses protecting it from all sides. The head of the knights was in front of the carriage , leading tit through the crowd.

The knights were completely covered up , not a single feature could be made out and were armed to the teeth.

"That's odd...Why would anyone decorate their carriage with bones? And why do the entire envoy look so dark and gloomy?"
