“MAXWELL! RICHARD!” Mrs. Luna yells at her two sons, who are running around the living room, in order not to be caught and put to bed. “I swear it’s like you guys never run out of energy even after you guys were at the park all day,” Mrs. Luna says, exhausted. Mr. Luna wraps his arms around his wife’s waist and comforts her. “Hey, everything is going to be alright, my love. I’m sure they’ll tire out eventually, and when they do, they might even head to bed themselves.” Mr. Luna chuckles before lightly pecking Mrs. Luna’s cheek and heading back to the kitchen to continue preparing dinner for him and his wife.
*Ding Dong*
“I’ll get it.” Mrs. Luna said before heading to the door. When she opened the front door, she didn’t find anyone there. “Well, that’s odd.” She said, confused. Just then, a soft murmur from below her was heard. Upon looking down, she found a baby girl in a beautiful silk dress and a multiple, blue-colored dragon amulet around her neck. The baby looked about a month or two old and had bright blue eyes and a full head of reddish-brown hair. Mrs. Luna was beyond surprised and looked around the porch but couldn’t find any traces of where the baby had come from. “Honey, come quick,” she called to her husband. Mr. Luna came rushing to the door “Is everything alri-,” He started to ask before looking down at the baby. “What’s going on?” Mr. Luna asked his wife with confusion. “I’m not sure, but I didn’t see her mother, so I believe she was probably left here,” Mrs. Luna answered her husband before carefully picking up the baby.
