24.Naruto’s Birthday

After settling everything in the land of waves, I moved towards the places Gato had kept his money and took everything. I also made sure to acquire all his property and also his other companies. And for that it took me nearly a month of time. Travelling through different countries and villages.

The next day I woke up and teleported directly to the leaf village. Today was October 10. Naruto's third year birthday. I arrived at the orphanage to see how Naruto is doing. As today was also the day the fourth Hokage and many others died, nobody celebrated Naruto's Birthday. I looked for Naruto and found him in his room sitting sadly.

Looking at his sad expression, I was confused and flickered near him. He was startled as I suddenly appeared and asked "Ah! Who are you?" I smiled at him "Why are you sad kid? What happened?" I asked. Naruto looked at me curiously.

I then took out a huge chocolate bar and handed it to him. Seeing the chocolate bar, he opened his eyes wide "You must be the fairy who gives me chocolates at night". I laughed hearing him "No kid. I'm not a fairy. I'm a ninja. Now tell me why are you looking sad? Did anyone hurt you?"

Naruto shook his head. "Today is my birthday. They celebrate everybody's birthday, but not mine. That's why I was sad." I smiled at him "Oh! Then come with me. Let's celebrate your birthday together." Naruto was happy hearing me, but again became sad and said "I'm not allowed to go far from this place. They say it's dangerous.

Listening to him I thought 'Hiruzen must be protecting him by not letting him go too far. I could also sense two Anbus watching this place. Glad there are no root ones or I would have killed them.' I then looked smiling at Naruto again "Nobody will know kid. Here let me show you a trick "Shadow clone Jutsu & Transformation Jutsu".

Another kid looking same as Naruto appeared in front of us. I used a shadow clone and transformed into Naruto. Naruto had stars in his eyes and yelled "So COOL!!!!!" I smiled once again "Let's go and celebrate your birthday." Naruto nodded. I then removed the seals I placed to mislead the Anbu watching and teleported out of there with Naruto leaving my clone behind which just went to sleep.

I took him to the land of tea. The place was literally beautiful like some mountain resort. Filled with mountains and grassy plains. It also had a shopping street. Me and Naruto flickered near the border of the land of tea.

Naruto was surprised as he asked "Where are we?" I answered "We are at a place called the land of tea. I used a secret jutsu to bring us here. Now let's go inside. Naruto once again yelled "Cool...". I lifted the kid up and placed him on my shoulder and walked into the town.

"Naruto, today is your birthday. So ask me anything you want and I'll buy them for you". Naruto nodded happily. As we were walking, Naruto was looking around with interest. This was the first time he has moved away from the orphanage. He was happy. Alas he's just a three year old kid who doesn't know right from wrong yet.

As we walked, Naruto's stomach grumbled. "Didn't you have your breakfast yet?" I asked. Naruto shook his head "I was feeling sad that nobody cared about my birthday. So I didn't leave my room". I nodded "Ok Naruto. Let's go get something to eat".

Then I started running and Naruto was enjoying feeling the breeze up his face as ye yelled "Faster....faster". Hearing him I also increased my speed. We then arrived at a fairly decent restaurant. I entered inside and picking up an emptytable, sat in front of it and made Naruto sit opposite me.

The waiter came down to take the order and I ordered a Ramen bowl for Naruto with extra meat and I ordered some fried rice with fried chicken. We both ate and then I ordered some tea for myself and Ice cream and cake for Naruto. Naruto was happy as he loved the ramen. He was a total Ramen fanatic.

After I paid the bills, Naruto asked "What is your name Onii san?" I looked at him and said "You can call me Kakashi." Naruto nodded and called me "Kakashi nii san" I smiled hearing him. Then I once again put him on my shoulders and started walking towards the market.

As we walked, Naruto started telling me the story of his childhood. I listened to everything he said and thought 'Well, by scaring Danzo and warning Hiruzen, I've changed most of Naruto's childhood.' Then I asked him "Did an old man ever meet you?"

Naruto shook his head "No. I've not gone far from the orphanage and not met anyone other than the children and Kiera san. Ah! I've seen some ninjas come and enquire me if I was doing well." I nodded satisfied hearing him. 'Looks like Hiruzen hasn't met him and tried his brainwashing on the kid. Must be because Danzo hasn't moved yet".

I was brought out of my thoughts when Naruto patted my head. I looked up at him and he was pointing at a shop. I then went towards the shop. The shopkeeper seeing us said "Welcome to my store". I approached the store nodding to the shopkeeper and then saw a bunch of wallets and keychains in the shape of various summoned animals.

"Do you want anything from here Naruto?" I asked . He nodded and said "Kakashi nii san, I want that" pointing to a frog wallet. I laughed seeing that and bought it for him. I also put some cash inside the wallet and added a Genjutsu and a space seal. If someone finds and opens it, all they will see is an empty wallet. Only Naruto can see and take out the contents.

Also if he lost the wallet or someone took it, it will automatically return to him. I'm very proficient in sealing now. I've also created some seals like the one I put on the wallet with Flying thunder god as a base for ease of use of weapons and stuff. I can just summon a Kunai or some other weapon if I use the seals on them.

I then passed the wallet to Naruto. Naruto was happy receiving the wallet and played with it for some time. We then started roaming around playing some games like passing a ball, frisbee, etc till the evening. Then we teleported to the land of hot springs. We both soaked ourselves in the hotspring for a while.

I then took Naruto and teleported saying "There's another surprise waiting for you".
