CHAPTER ONE: TRAGEDIES HAPPEN

Helen sat down in the chair waiting for her brother Humphrey to bring the stuffs they both from the supermarket. immediately she saw Humphrey she quickly opened the booth of the car. hey brother come over here she said. Humphrey knew his sister would be happy to see his new girlfriend Juana, he had planned to tell his parent today and also persuade his sister to make a nice dinner for them and luckily for him she agreed.He was happy and rushed down to their car where his sister stood. their car was a Toyota brand.he got into the car and so did his sister they drove straight to there house a three story building with a little garden. the compound was huge and being located at F01 estate Kubwa it was cool. there parents were rich.A well to do Nigerian family leaving in Abuja the country's capital. immediately they got home Helen came down from the car and went straight to her room changed her clothes and ran off to to the kitchen to prepare the food. immediately she was done with cooking the food, she served it at the dining table.And as expected she heard the sound of their parents car. when they came into the house she persuaded them to sit and she helped her brother to convince their parents about his new girlfriend. after which they had dinner. the next day Juana came to visit the Amadi family she dressed diligently and the family was convinced that she was a good person Helen still had doubt about her but she couldn't say a word. the wedding was planned and after a month her brother Humphrey married Juana. immediately she was married into the family Juana character changed she became more of a beast she made sure her husband never called his family. and she never allowed Helen into Humphrey's house. but Helen always thought that because her parents were alive there was no need to worry about her brother wife but one day when Mr Amadi was on his way home from work he had a ghastly motor accident and he died on the spot. after a year Helens mother got married to another man who did not allow Helen into his house so Mrs Amadi left Helen in the care of her brother. Helen did not know what to do but she had to face her brother's wicked wife and accept that tragedies do happen
