CHAPTER II

As I woke up, the maids immediately prepared everything for me. From the moment I woke up until I am dining with brother Raspher. I was used to living alone and taking care of myself, so I was a bit uncomfortable by allowing the maids to touch me.

"Today, I have prepared everything. You have to introduce yourself to everyone"

"Yes, brother."

After giving my brother a satisfying answer, he nodded his head and then the two of us continue eating. After a few more moments, I started the conversation.

"You didn't tell me about brother Laven"

"It's your fault for running away from home"

'This son of a bitch—'

"But it's good news that you already stopped fooling around. I was worried that I'll be the only one to manage our business, without even gotten a chance to have a family"

I glanced at him and stopped slicing the fish.

"Brother, don't tell me... You—"

He looked at me.

"I truly want to have a family, I'm already twenty-eight what do you expect? But then at the same time, I'm more worried about our business"

"But, is there someone that picks your interest?"

He shook his head than give me a cold reply.

"None"

My heart skip a beat for a moment when he mentioned the word "family". But then, it came back. I thought that there would be someone that can control my brother, it's a piece of good and bad news if that's the case. The good news, is I don't have to worry about my brother's behavior towards me. On the other side, of course, this is the reality not like some novel-shit, none can overpass my brother's annoying personality. And besides, if that happens... I'll be the one to take our family's business. I wonder, what would be the society's reaction?

"I'm Kyenzi Ren Byanzheki. I would be helping my first brother from today on, please take care of me"

I took a glance at the people seating in front of me. They smiled and gave me a warm expression. I thought they would disregard me, but I was wrong. They are the people that have a deep relationship within the business.

It was lunch break when I decided to go to the public's comfort room. As I walk past through, a newbie smiled at me. He was cute.

"Good afternoon, sir"

He bowed three-sixty degrees without a doubt that he's a newbie in the company.

"No need for formalities, please stop bowing"

"But it would be disrespectful for the boss's younger brother and right-hand man!"

I just shrugged off his compliments as I chuckled.

"Wow, sir. Compared to boss and boss's second brother you're more different! I-I didn't mean it in a bad way! It's just, you're more have an Asian look than the two of them!"

I was stopped for a moment as I remember the nostalgic memories since I was a child.

"He's the bastard's son!"

"He doesn't belong to the Byanzheki household!"

I was taken aback when the newbie called out for my name many times.

"Sir? Sir Kyenzi?"

I smiled at the newbie and after a while, his friend came to him and talked to him.

"Good afternoon sir"

His friend greeted me full of formality and politely. As he was having his permission to leave together with the newbie, I just observed them walking away together.

"Why did you say all of those stuff to boss's younger brother?!"

"Geez! You're dead meat right now!"

I see, so all of them know about my existence. But despite that, they didn't dare to insult me. It seems that brother Raspher discussed it with them.

I suddenly felt annoyed for an unknown reason and just decided to leave and came back to my own office. I didn't have an appetite so I decided to inspect all of the data and records of documents regarding the business transaction of our company.

I stopped reading when I noticed the time at my table's clock. It was already five o'clock. I was so busy that I didn't expect the time. I heard a knock and fixed my tone.

"You may come in"

My brother came in with his usual expression.

"Are you not planning to go home?"

"Maybe, there are still many things I have to inspect"

"Don't pressure yourself too much. It's still your first day"

"I don't, this is just how I practically work"

After a few more minutes of silence.

"Let's go home. We didn't even spend your home-coming party"

I stopped looking at the paperwork and looked at my brother. We stared at each other for a moment without blinking.

"You seem to be more soft than usual"

"Tsk, of course, you're my brother. So let's just go home. That work can wait and as if our company are going into bankruptcy, that work can wait till tomorrow"

He has a point, in the previous data the company is doing okay but...

Before I could even answer, he already fixed the scattering papers at my table and put them aside.

"Let's go home"

His usual tone became soft, it was a bit uncomfortable to me but I just shrugged it off and followed him to the parking lot. He opened the door for me, near the driver's seat.

As we got home, brother Laven was there waiting for the both of us.

"I thought the strawberry cake was your favorite, Kyen?"

I glanced at brother Laven and then smiled.

"That was before, everyone changes their taste"

"That's too bad"

"Don't worry, brother Laven. I'll eat this cake you bake for me"

Brother Laven nodded his head in satisfaction and the three of us eat together. The cake was delicious, and the roast chicken was my favorite until now. Now, I'm planning on having a tight schedule for managing my body's health. Maybe starting tomorrow...

"Kyen, take this"

Brother Raspher, throw a box in front of me and I immediately hold it.

What's this?

I immediately opened the dark blue box. I was shocked that my cat-like eyes went round.

"Wa-wait you're sure you're giving me this?!"

"Why are you asking me this?"

"Because this—this is not just a simple gift! This is an emerald Rolex, do you think I can accept this?!"

Brother Raspher chuckled as he look at me.

"Then you have to work hard in the future to repay me the gift that I gave you"

I sighed.

This is our newly released item from our company. To be honest, this was a grand pack and emerald was the theme. Considering the emerald bracelet, rings, necklace, and earrings. But the emerald Rolex was the most expensive one, considering its high quality carved, it goes about a half-billion-dollar.

I shook my head as I stared for the Rolex that my brother gave me. Doesn't he know the value of this thing? It was like this is just throwing a piece of coin at the street. Gosh, how can he be so naive?

After the three of us took a few more sips of the wine, I excused myself and go back to my room. After taking a bath, I looked at the Rolex that my brother gave me.

I don't want to wear this. It's a good thing to wear since I don't have a wristwatch on me but this... If I wear this, people might think that I'm a spoiled brat that the older brothers spoil me. But on the other hand, brother Raspher might scold and give me a cold expression if I don't wear the gift that he gave me. It's like not accepting this valuable gift.

Arghh I don't know anymore. Fine, I don't care what others think of me. I just wear this tomorrow!

With nothing clothes on me, I jumped to my bed and closed my eyes as I fell asleep.

Morning comes and the three of us dine together. Brother Laven prefer to cook food for us, of course, it made me happy. Seeing that brother Laven got to do what he wants, I feel proud of him. Not like in the past...

"Brother, I plan to have a schedule. I'll start working at ten o'clock starting today. I plan to have a workout, I don't want to get fat after eating many foods that brother Laven cooked"

Brother Laven chuckled.

"Then that would be good, it's just made my cook more delicious than anyone else, right?"

I put the fork down as I looked down at my food. Damn, I guess I'll just eat less starting today than having work out early.

"Don't even think of something else like going on a diet instead of working out with me"

"Are you declining the offer of your beloved brother?"

"Of course not brother, I'll be happy to have a workout together with you"

I fake a smile into my face and I noticed that brother Laven burst a laugh
