It’s Not Easy Being A Hyuga (Naruto Fanfic)

It was a dark night within the Ninja World where it was divided into many different countries.

Some smaller villages were scattered around the land while the five main countries held the most power in the world.

Some villages were hidden away from the eyes of the other countries and the one that was being visited by a group of people had been one of them.

Far away from the Hidden Leaf Village, their own ninjas were sent out on a task which they had aimed to carry out without fail.

They had journeyed all the way near the borders of the Land of Lightning where there was a village located deep into the mountains.

A black haired woman was accompanied by blond haired woman and a brown haired man that were dressed up in dark ninja attire that was better suited for stealth and combat purposes.

A castle was off in the distance that had been made of what looked like metal so it could be said to be a fortress that would be difficult to get into unless the team was highly skilled.

The man of the team had asked. "How much closer do you need to be?"

The black haired woman had looked off to the distance when her eyes had suddenly changed in appearance. "Still no good. Keep going."

She was a member of the Hyuga Clan who possessed the special eyes that were the Byakugan or otherwise known as the White Eye which were regarded as one of the top three eye techniques known to the world.

There was a marking on her head that was covered up by her ninja headband which could be activated by her own clan to kill her and to destroy the eyes.

It was a way to control those in their clan but it was also a means to prevent the eyes of their clan from appearing outside of their clan.

They did not want other clans to inherit their eyes and they would rather destroy the eyes of those that had been captured or killed by others to prevent them being used by someone else.

There were other types of special eyes out in the world that others coveted and would go to great lengths to acquire for themselves to the point that they would go as far as taking the eyes of someone and then transplanting them onto themself.

If a ninja team required someone to assist them for their visual aid them most would choose to rely on the capabilities of someone from the Hyuga Clan.

The eyes of the woman were very unique as they had enlarged and white irides with no distinguishing pupils.

Upon activating the pupils to see further, the pupils had become more distinct and the increased blood flow from using them had caused the veins on her temples to bulge.

The man let out a sigh and begrudgingly said. "Okay but we need to be more careful upon entering the village."

They had entered together but it was difficult for the vision of the Hyuga Clan woman to be able to penetrate through the castle walls.

Even as they had slipped further into the hidden village without being noticed, there were still no good results and they were not able to gather any useful intelligence that could be brought back.

Just as they were about to call it a day so they could check to see if they could make another attempt another night, the Hyuga Clan woman had opened her mouth suddenly. "Run.."

"Huh?"

It usually strained most of them to continue to use their abilities for a longer period of time so their sight could not be used all of the time to watch for anything around them so the woman was late to see that something was wrong.

It seemed like she had been fast enough to notice it and had gotten lucky but she had suddenly froze on the spot as she had peered further away towards the approaching figure.

A blonde haired man with purple eyes had walked forward calmly and his eyes had met with the eyes of the woman.

His eyes had suddenly changed to a red colour with a minus sign marking on them as they continued to be locked onto the eyes of the woman opposite him.

A playful smirk appeared on his face as he watched the woman fall into a frozen and slightly dazed state.

His gaze turned towards the man and woman at the side of the Hyuga woman that had rushed to wake her up from her current state. "Do not get in the way."

As he had approached closer to them, the surrounding metal poles had suddenly moved and flew towards the two ninjas without warning.

They were both pierced through and dropped down to the ground before bleeding out.

The woman was restrained by some metal before being picked up in the arms of the man who had walked away with her like he was claiming a prize.

"Lord!"

"It is the lord!"

"He rarely appears in public!"

The eyes of the man had returned to normal once he had carried away the unconscious woman in his arms and the others around him did not get a chance to see how his eyes looked previously. 'I was almost exposed but it was worth it.'

He returned to his castle and locked the woman away from the eyes of others, nothing was known by others what he was doing inside his castle and other teams had a lot of difficulty getting into the hidden village from then on.

He was very protective about keeping his secret and nobody was allowed to see inside of the room that held the woman.

A long time had passed and he had stood in front of a pregnant woman that seemed to cling to him like she was heavily reliant on and influenced by him.

He propped up her chin with his hand and locked eyes with her as his eyes had changed again.

There was a strained look on his face and he had looked tired once he deactivated his eyes. "I have managed to interfere with that thing again. It should not be long now."

He was a possessor of the Blood Dragon Eyes and he had a wide range of abilities that could be used.

The seal that was on the woman that had started to loosen over time and looked it it had started to reach a stage where it could be activated but the man had used his eyes to block the path that the blood and chakra would flow by causing the blood in her body to travel towards that area.

The technique that could be used to kill the those with the seal was temporarily blocked off once again as the blonde haired man had gotten more skilful in doing so.

The woman had been hypnotised by him do she would not use it herself so it required others to be able to do it but nobody was aware of the fact that he had her held captive.

If others outside had tried to trigger it to kill her as part of the family rules then it did not work but they had believed that it was successful.

The woman had clung to him for a while before falling asleep and more time had passed as she had started to give birth.

A baby girl had been born with a tiny amount of hair on her head that was the same hair colour as the father which was a light blonde while she had inherited the eyes of her mother.

There was one slight difference in her white eyes and that was that there was red outline on the edges of the white irises that had faded into the white to create a small outer layer that had gone from red to pink before reaching the larger inner parts of the white eyes that were just like her mothers.
