Chapter 22. Finding a place for secluded meditation

Inside the secret plane,

"The mission had a duration of 4 days, only a day has passed, that means that I have a total of 3 days left before the academy sends an investigation team…"

Tirus started analyzing his current situation.

"For now, I should have the A.I. chip complete the rank 0 flight spell model, and I can meditate and recover my vitality while the A.I. chip does that." He came up with a plan as he ordered the A.I. chip to complete the spell model.

[The spell model will be completed within 46 hours] The A.I. chip intoned.

In a blink of an eye, two days passed, and the spell model was now completed.

Tirus had refined a full batch of the ancient potion, Tears of Mary, a total of 5 bottles. With the help of the A.I. chip, Tirus's success rate of refining the potion was extremely high.

"Now it's time to leave." Tirus thought, glancing back at the secret plane.

It was a good thing that the secret plane was going to self-destruct within a day. Otherwise…. If the academy professors were to reach this level of this inheritance ground and they found the secret plane to be empty, then they may suspect that Tirus was still alive and that he ran away with the inheritance, which could cause huge trouble for him. It was better if they thought that he died in some corner of this massive inheritance ground.

"Dark Aurora!" Tirus uttered in a soft voice as his entire body shone with a dark light as he started floating in the air.

"The speed isn't bad for a rank 0 spell." He murmured as he made his way up at high speed.

This spell, once activated, would cover the user's body with a dark light which would allow them to fly for the next 18 minutes. The best thing about this spell was that it didn't consume much spiritual force, just 5 units. Although 5 units of spiritual force was more than half of the total spiritual force of a rank 2 acolyte, for the current Tirus, who was a rank 3 acolyte, this consumption rate wasn't anything. He was confident that even without the accelerated spiritual force recovery rate that he got from wearing ring of the night, he could fly for as long as he wanted.

Soon, Tirus reached the hall where the giant golem was but this time, the golem seemed to notice the rings which Tirus was wearing. As if understanding something, it got out of Tirus's way, which slightly surprised Tirus.

After an hour, Tirus got out of the inheritance ground.

"A.I. chip! Scan the area." He ordered, as the A.I. chip informed him that there were no humans nearby.

He made his way out of the valley as he used a concealment spell on himself and started heading in the north-east direction.

There was a youth in the middle of a forest nearby, with brown hair and brown eyes. A tall stature with a sturdy yet lean body.

This youth was naturally Tirus, currently, a young man around the same height as him was lying in front of him.

This boy had been kidnapped by Tirus from a road a few kilometers away, knocked out by him on purpose for he wanted to change his clothing.

Tirus didn't dare to wear the academy's uniform for a second more as he changed his clothes and burned his uniform along with the kidnapped boy. He wanted to avoid leaving any traces.

Who knows if the uniform had some other tracker in it?

The academy badge on the uniform of the crimson bone academy was something that could be used to track the said student if needed. Although the badge was destroyed a few days ago due to the explosion caused by the green golem, the final monster that he and Rick fought, but he still had a feeling that he must change his clothes as soon as possible.

After changing his clothes, he once again started heading in the direction of north-east.

After 3 days of continuous fleeing, he reached a forest and landed on a mountain.

"I can use this place until I become an official magus." He thought as he controlled the earth element particles to dig an underground cave, used the wind element particles to fill it with oxygen and then entered it.

"Amber." Tirus used a fire element spell to conjure up a peanut sized ball of fire which illuminated the entire underground cave.

The underground cave wasn't small, it was 10×10 meters in size.

"Hm, big enough." Tirus nodded his head in satisfaction as he let his acolyte radiation flow freely.

Every insect and worm present inside the cave died instantly due to the radiation. Tirus really liked this power of the magi, they don't even need to do anything to kill those weaker than them.

"Now, what I need is a wooden lavatory." He thought. He didn't just plan on making a single underground cave, he planned on making several, and use them for different purposes.

As for potioneering, he had planned that he wouldn't use potions to increase his spiritual force before it reaches at least 13 units after that, he'd consume them and quickly cultivate until 15 units, the peak spiritual force of a rank 3 acolyte and make a breakthrough to a rank 1 magus by consuming the ancient potion, Thamion's essence.

As for him being disturbed?

There were no humans within the radius of 200 km² of this mountain, and as for beasts, they were mostly ordinary ones.

Which means that, in this place, Tirus was the strongest, of course, that is if no official magus came.
