Graduation

It's been nearly 2 weeks since I last saw Layla. Even now as I'm walking to the dean to receive my degree, I can set my eyes to the crowd. As I approach my seat for the fifth time today, I am showered with hugs and smiles from my classmates. When I finally dawn on the exhalted seat, I can only pray for a higher power to give me another excuse to disappear.
