This superweapon was discovered in an abandoned school. Enchanted’s message indicated that the only sanctuary immune to the toxic air was this same abandoned school, which the Germans had used to exterminate humanity. Chapter 1Prologue

prologue - Chapter 1 Judgement Day

"What the fuck?" I said, my hand covered in blood. As I peered up in horror, the silhouette of a dark figure emerged, holding out a knife painted in scarlet blood. "It must have been the blood of—" but before I could finish my sentence, my blood ran cold as I was flung away, hitting a nearby door. In a mixture of fear, anger, and terror, I loudly screamed for someone to help, but as the cold silence settled in the air, I realized, to my horror, that nobody was helping me. I was alone.

Running from the incarnation of the devil like a coward with a tail tied between my legs, I desperately searched for an exit, but to no avail. This was my judgment day. My friends Shay and riqless, my parents, everyone in Enchanted all the memories flooded my mind: the days as a yute, the days of my prime, the days when I sat alone in voice chats reading visual novels. Now, however, I sit alone, waiting for my impending death.

"Heh, I really was a loser," I thought to myself. However, my joyful grin was replaced with a look of horror as the figure, coated in darkness, emerged from the shadows. Every emotion was ripped apart from my heart as I looked at the person the one who had tormented me and caused all of this pain, the mastermind behind these events. But before I could scream their name, my vision went black, reminiscent of the very death I was about to suffer.

Null!" a voice screamed out to me. As I peered around in confusion, I saw a girl with long white hair and blue eyes running toward me. Startled, I jolted back in shock after all, I initially thought Riqless was a man, but I don't discriminate, I reminded myself.

The girl with long white hair continued further, "Today's the one-year anniversary of Enchanted Kosair's (Enchs) death," Riqless said to Null's dismay. "A new leader to lead the remaining survivors has been chosen." But before the white-haired kid could ask any questions, a voice echoed from the corner, "Wys, Null?" A sarcastic tone filled the room. The figure of a boy, around 15 or so, with long hair covering his waist, may have been LARPing. Honestly, this guy's a piece of shit, I muttered to myself, and his ally Faye is pretty ugly too. Hearing that, Issa rushed at me, but before he could hit me, a muscular hand grabbed his arm.

"What!?"

Issa screamed like a wild animal, his cries echoing throughout the room. The muscular man continued, "Get to the celebration room now! The new leader has been chosen." Veni scoffing at the futile fighting between the two little ass kids slowly ruining his morning.

"in my mind, l ran rampant, confused about who the new leader was and why nobody had spoken to me about it. Could it be Slime? No, honestly, he knew Slime was desperate for power and roles, but there was no way people would want that piece of shit to be the leader. Kota? Nah, fuck him. That would probably be the worst possible option among the remaining survivors, I thought to myself."

Now that I had arrived at the auditorium l, I looked around in confusion. The faces of Darren, Nela, Lela, Moose, and the others made a small grin appear on my face. After the death of my parents, I never thought I'd belong anywhere again. Being an outcast in school and shunned by my peers for reading light novels at home all day had left me feeling isolated. But now, surrounded by these other survivors victims of the war and the corruption in germany, I felt truly happy.

"Where's Shay?" I asked, turning to the man next to me. He was another teenager, similar in age to me but a few years older. Just then, on top of the stage, a man with long brown hair, resembling Fang Yuan, stepped closer. The man spoke up. "Shay?" i said in shock.

A loud gasp escaped my mouth as the man continued, speaking about the death of our leader, Ench, who had saved us. He explained that the survivor group needed a new leader to uncover the secrets of the school and to save humanity from extinction. After his speech, loud applause filled the auditorium, with clapping, cheering, and roaring throughout.

But the enjoyment was short-lived. Suddenly, the room went black, and the shouts of survivors like Lela and Ann were heard in the darkness. The rubble from the auditorium fell from all corners of the hall. Suddenly, a scream filled with terror was heard right next to Shay, as Lag was seemingly struck by a light from above, crying out in pain like a little bitch. Lag desperately pleaded for someone to help him as Shay ran towards him, the lights still falling. Effortlessly, he grabbed Lag, throwing the light that had struck him off of him, proceeding to throw him out of the way, only to be struck by five more lights intended for Lag, crushing him to death instantly.

As the lights flickered back on, a gruesome scene was revealed to everyone. The lifeless body of Sonsuz Umutsuzluk lay exposed for all to see. Dbankz, Toonz, and Adrian were the first to spot it, staring in horror. I was the next to witness the horrific sight before me, with images of my parents' deaths and Enchanted Kosair flashing in my mind as I looked at the lifeless form of my best friend.

I ran to the body, and Issa, driven by a surge of desperation, viciously tore the lights that had fallen on Sonsuz from him staring into the lifeless corpse however before he could speak I noticed a note in the rubble next to Issa and the dead body of Shay. Rushing towards it i picked it up.

Judgement day had begun.

Trembling i read the note. "Null is the man who did it"

The novel attempts to position itself as a highbrow literary endeavor but ultimately collapses under the weight of its own intellectual pretensions. It is riddled with so much obfuscatory nonsense and narrative dissonance that it reads less like a cohesive work of fiction and more like a series of failed experiments in literary theory. The plot, if it can be described as such, suffers from classic narrative fragmentation. Adopting a non-linear structure, the novel relies heavily on esoteric references seemingly designed to showcase the author’s anti-intellectual sophistication rather than to advance a coherent story. This approach is marked by a lack of narrative causality and thematic coherence, resulting in a reading experience that feels both disjointed and laborious. The novel’s tendency to indulge in metatextual commentary and self-referentiality further exacerbates the confusion, undermining any potential for clear, engaging storytelling. The novel's approach to character development—or rather, its conspicuous absence thereof—represents a critical failure. Characters are presented as nebulous archetypes whose motivations and psychological profiles are obscured by excessive allegory and cryptic exposition. This lack of psychological realism reduces the characters to mere vessels for thematic exploration rather than fully realized individuals. The novel’s failure to offer substantive character arcs or relatable conflicts detracts significantly from its overall impact. The dialogue is laden with highfalutin discordian jargon and nauseating musings that often come across as disingenuous and contrived. Instead of facilitating meaningful discourse, conversations frequently devolve into verbose monologues and opaque exchanges. This proclivity for intellectual grandstanding over practical communication creates a significant barrier to reader engagement, as the dialogue often veers into the realm of performative eloquence rather than genuine interaction. Pacing is another area where the novel falters dramatically. The narrative oscillates between ponderous, introspective passages and abrupt, disjointed episodes that lack clear narrative trajectory. This erratic pacing creates a sense of instability, undermining any semblance of narrative momentum and leaving the reader adrift in a sea of disjointed content. Stylistically, the author employs a highly ornate and elaborate prose that, while ostensibly sophisticated, ultimately serves to obfuscate rather than elucidate. The excessive use of convoluted sentence structures and obscure vocabulary adds layers of complexity that obscure the novel’s core themes and narrative intent. In summary, the novel represents a flagrant example of literary pretentiousness masquerading as intellectual depth. Its convoluted narrative, opaque characterizations, and verbose dialogue render it a frustratingly inaccessible read. For those who value clarity and coherence in literature, this novel is an exercise in futility. It is a quintessential example of how overreliance on stupidity and Neanderthal affectation can undermine the effectiveness of a work of fiction.
