Chapter: 10

Early in the morning. Two ships can be seen sailing out of the port of Roshwan Kingdom.

One is a Roods pirate ship without a flag. The other is a wolf ship.

"Sometimes it's good to know your place. Now just follow our ship without any questions." Duke was about to ask something, but before he could even ask, Wolf Howl came from the other ship.

Duke got angry but didn't show his true face. Every crew member was busy doing something, and their faces couldn't be seen from the wolf ship. Although they don't have the Duke's acting skills, they are still trying not to show it. Rood is also angry right now. But Wolf doesn't know Rood.

"Hey, Wolf. I thought there was going to be a fight or something. But why did you take us to an unknown island?" Duke asked in a different voice, which was like poking at Wolf.

"Let's go. Just follow me." Wolf told everyone.

Before they enter the forest, Rood signals his two crew members the dagger the boy. Hugh and Harlow to leave some marks while moving forward. It took 20 minutes to reach a place where they could only see a big cave. Maybe it belongs to some big animal.

Sensing the movement outside the cave, a big bear came out of that cave. Its height is 20 feet. There are many scars on its body. It looks like it has fought with many swordsmen.

"Duke, you take your man and kill that guy. Don't worry, I am sending my best man to fight beside you." Wolf stated his purpose.

"Rood, you take some men and kill this bear." Duke shouted while pointing towards the bear. Rood knows that this time he needs to take the lead. Otherwise, some of his crew may have died.

The other crew members know that Duke is now acting as the leader of their group just to show Wolf. Some of the Wolf subordinates, who were very excited to show their value, already went to fight with that bear. But now they are dead after just one slap.

When Rood came near the cave, the focus of the monster bear shifted to him. Although the monster is big, that makes its speed even lower. When that bear reached him, Rood dodged to the side and swung his sword at the hand of that bear. It was just a scratch for the bear. Which shows how hard skin that bear has.

Rood didn't have any fear. He knows that there will be even bigger monsters waiting for him in the new world. Seeing the target dodge his attack, the bear got even more angry; it started to attack him. After dodging several times and putting some scratches on that bear, He was pushed by a huge force from the bear's slap. 'If I want to become stronger, I can't dodge like that.' Rood came to a realisation and started his fight again.

Rood attacks the upcoming attack. After every attack, he was pushed away by the force of the bear. And his Sabre was about to get broken. After defending against a few attacks from the bear, to his bad luck, his Sabre can take it any more. It broke in the middle.

But his friend Duke saw the Sabre's shortcoming. He opened the bag after looking for a weapon and waiting for the Rood Sabre to be broken.

When Rood saw that his sabre had broken but the bear attack didn't stop, he started dodging again. A Duke call came from his back, and to his surprise, a weapon was thrown at his place. Rood took the weapon and defended the upcoming attack, pushing back a few meters.

Rood has nothing to say about this weapon; it looks quite a bit like a Katana in design, and the toe part of it was like a cutlass Sabre. He didn't give much thought to this weapon. He started to fight again. Try to cut that bear several times. And after 10 minutes of fighting, he still couldn't make any progress.

Rood concentration was still on everything. Everyone can notice his disorderly breathing. Rood looks at the bear in front of him. And he thought about his shortcomings. He looked in the direction of his crew members.

To kill this bear, he needs huge concentration. Right now, there is a wolf and his man waiting to kill his crew after completing whatever they are here to do. Duke looked at Rood, who was looking at him and trying to say something.

After thinking about it a bit, he nodded his head, which seems to be a signal. Rood, look again at the bear. From the start, his concentration was on everything surrounding him. Right now, he can only put his trust in his partner.

This time, Rood attacked the bear with his full strength without thinking about anything. He just had one thought, which was to kill this bear.

After slashing the bear claw, the bear did move, but he looked at his opponent again. Open its mouth and bite towards Rood, who blocks the teeth with his sabre. That force is still making him take a step back. And this back-and-forth scene continued to happen, and Rood's skill was becoming sharper as he continued his fighting.

Every basic move that Rood normally uses has reached a bottleneck. This feeling is more irritating. He continued to fight.

The bear skin is now bleeding, and after taking that new sabre, the root power increased a lot. I don't know why the sword was sharp enough or if his skill and strength developed to the point where Rood could force the bear to take a step back.

On the other side, the wolf saw that only one man was fighting with that monster. Wolf had made this plan a long time ago. It's been one year since he bought this treasure map.

He thought that he would hire some people to be cannon fodder in front of this monster. But today, only one cannon fodder is completely about to kill that monster. Now Wolf is trying to make a quick sneak attack to completely kill all those Connon fodder.

Wolf secretly signals his man, who is close to him. After 1 minute, all 50 men that Wolf had taken with him got ready for a sneak.

During this time, Duke threw a sabre towards Rood. He also started to prepare for the sneak attack from Wolf and his subordinates.

Beckett, Zamp, and lucky Gable are starting to get behind Duke. They were just shifting places while watching Rood fight with Bear.
