In Final Fantasy Worlds as Party Manager

My name was Ryosuke, Ryo for short, a sixth-year college student, meanwhile, my peers had been graduating.

I wasn't lazy by any means, in fact, I was a diligent student back at high school, my scores were extraordinary and classmates often borrowed my notes.

In my second year at University, I had a friend who introduced me to video games and anime, honestly, my life quite dull since my parents were strict; forcing me to study all the time. And I attended the number one University in Japan, an environment filled with a toxic competition that was reinforced by the University's rules; it's no different than a bloody battlefield.

Video games and anime were the spring of my summer, they helped me survived the stressful life, but as time progressed, they did me worse by turning me into an addict, and even though I knew; I didn't care.

My parents were urging me to graduate soon, but I lied to them by giving many excuses, I felt guilty, however when I turned into anime, the guilt feeling disappeared, so it's a good thing, right?

I became unsocial in real life, I got few friends who shared the interest, but soon they were returning into normies; getting a job, getting married, getting a girlfriend, bla, bla, boring stuff... I couldn't connect with them anymore.

My daily activities were surfing webs, lurking in some anime or video game websites, trash-talking people... it could be said I was an asshole.

However, this year, my parents threatened to disown me if I still couldn't graduate, it sucked, but I had no choice.

I would have a test tomorrow, it took me a great effort not to watch some anime because I knew I would just wake up late tomorrow, so I decided to eat sleeping pills.

It worked great and made me fall asleep fast, but, when I opened my eyes this morning, I was no longer in my apartment but on a green field, vast as far as my sight, and when I turned back, I saw tall walls.

"Have I been transmigrated?" Yeah, I was no amateur with this kind of stuff.

Naturally, a normal person would think they had been kidnapped. But I was uh... a Nerd, yeah, so a Nerd should think out of the box.

Wait, this creature looked familiar, wasn't it a Moogle from Final Fantasy? Was I in Final Fantasy World?

"Kupo!" the Moogle handed me a letter, an iron box, a paper, and a pen. I read the paper, it's a sort of shipment invoice?

One letter and five crystals, from Cosmos, the Protector of Light, for Ryosuke, the chosen Warrior of Light.

Woah, did I read it right? I was a Warrior of Light? Fufu, now that I thought about it, perhaps it's my destiny all along.

"Kupo!" the Moogle wiggled its hand and pointed at the paper, it told me to sign? I used the pen to write my name.

Pop!

The paper disappeared along with the pen, and the Moogle gave me one last salute from it also disappeared in a puff of gas.

That was it? Hmm... I didn't feel any different, am I a Warrior of Light now or not? Also, why the Protector of Light, Cosmos, coronating me as the Warrior of Light with only a letter? Was she in trouble? Maybe she was caught by an evil entity and sought my rescue?!

I felt an urgency, so I opened the letter quickly.

"Ugh, it's so hot outside, dun wan to go out, I want to use email, but I forget there is no phone in the current world, sucks, anyway, waddup bitches, or should I call you mister Warrior of Light? Tuhuhu, ahem, okay, listen up! An Evil Force has risen, their emissaries are all over the world thus threatens the peace! So I need you to beat the crap out of them and save the whole world, of course, you won't be alone, use the crystals- five, for now, to summon help. Yours is the silver one, the rest are for the summon, a word of advice, these people can kill you if they want, so pick your party carefully, peace out!"

...

What the fuck? What was with this crappy notification? Didn't meet me personally because the outside was hot?! Well, she's not wrong though.

I glanced toward the box, my destiny laid inside it, soon my ordinary self would become a superhero that anyone cheered and respected, women would flock and tried to get a piece of me... hehe, who didn't want that?

Wasting time no longer, I crouched beside the box and opened it, there were 5 crystals; Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Silver, Cosmos said mine was the last; I wondered what kind of power I would get? I didn't like being Warrior much, maybe a Spellcaster or Wizard was much fitting.

I grabbed the silver crystal, and information appeared in my head.

*Silver Crystal

(Player Job; becoming the character who manages his party. Before you proceed, there will be several things needed to be informed:

The merit:

1. You will have infinite storage, however, these are the items you can store: medicine, elixir, equipment, ammunition, consumption, clothing, and light miscellaneous.

2. You will be able to summon heroes and heroines that are registered in the Anime Universe's Database, the categories of heroes and heroines are separated into thirteen jobs: Warrior, Ranger, Rogue, Wizard, Priest, Botanist, Tamer, Spiritualist, Demonologist, Necromancer, Martial Artist, Shifter, and Machinist.

3. You will be able to unlock and upgrade the heroes' and heroines' skills.

The demerit:

1. You won't be able to level up.

2. The summoned heroes and heroines aren't inflicted with absolute order, they can decide not to listen to your order.

3. The summoned heroes and heroines' lives are bounded into yours; if you are dead, they will cease to exist.

Passive abilities: Charm [ you will have an easier time gaining your party member' heart ], Bond [ other than level up, your party member can get stronger the more you bond with them ], and game-eye [ you will be able to monitor the health and mana or stamina of other people, also if they are inflicted with negative status ].)

What? Anime Universe's Database? Did it mean the heroes and heroines in this context were Anime's characters?! I quickly checked on the red crystal.

"Yes!"

Kirito, Erza Scarlet, Zoro Roronoa, Ichigo Kurosaki, Rin Okumura, Akame, Rei Miyamoto, Whitebeard, Rory Mercury, Gyoumei Himejima...)

The list went on and on... the sheer amount of names were overwhelming but it ignited the spirit in me.

Those were anime characters! For an Otaku like me, knowing that I could meet them was tremendously gratifying than having all the treasures in the whole world!

I checked on the other crystals.

(Wizard; heroes and heroines who well-versed with offensive and striking magic, will you summon them?)

(Priest; heroes and heroines who well-versed with defensive and healing magic, will you summon them?)

Looking at the list, I was trembling with excitement, it's literally the epitome of living in a dream.

"This is it! This is my destiny!" Well, it's a shame that I can't level up, can't have all the nice things, I guessed.

In order to summon them, I had to accept the silver crystal first, so I picked it and agreed to accept all the consequences. The crystal shone, then scattered into many lights, they were converging toward my body.

Information filled my head, first, it gave me more clarity upon the background of my mission.

There were many realms in the universe, each of them was separated by a barrier to prevent respective inhabitants from crossing other realms.

But one day, a professor named Chaos accidentally created a gate to another realm while conducting an experiment, and he released a greater evil, it corrupted professor Chaos and turned him into its slave. The corrupted Professor Chaos started gathering an army and with his knowledge of breaching other realms, he and his army began the invasion on a universe scale.

Decades of war, the people were stressfully being pushed back, one by one realm started falling into his grasp, until one day, a woman emerged, she claimed she had received a blessing from God to resist Professor Chaos' invasion, her name was Cosmos, the people called her the protector of light, and her army was the warrior of lights.

Cosmos' words were proven true, she had a power equivalent to Professor Chaos, her effort managed to unify and rally the universe, ultimately defeating Professor Chaos, killing him.

The universe regained its peace, and Cosmos continued to live with them but was on her deathbed not long after.

"The greater evil that has corrupted professor Chaos will have another pawn in the future, pick a virtuous woman among you, and I shall bestow her what God has given me, from now on, she will be Cosmos, the protector of light," twas her last will.

Over the course of millennia, different women had carried the status of Cosmos, however, the universe didn't present any threat on the same level scale in the past, while each realm was focused on its own conflicts.

However, it was different now, the current Cosmos received divination that the greater evil had started its scheme while every living creature in the world had forgotten about it, therefore, she chose a warrior of light to carry her banner and once again reminded the world about the imminent threat.

The information was over, now I felt the true purpose of my transmigration, much better than what inside the letter, and I wouldn't lie to say it was a big honor to represent Cosmos' flag.

Second, it gave me a system, well, it's more of a menu actually.

What are the criteria of the character I should summon?

1. Waifu.

2. Hot.

3. Non-crazy.

4. Has a sense of justice or the willingness to save people.

5. Non-threatening, like seriously, I hadn't talked with people in real life for so long, what to expect?

6. Big chest (I mean heart).

Considering my list of criteria, it wasn't difficult for me to find the right candidates,

After had finally decided, quick I grabbed the crystals one by one, and each of them shattered upon momentary blinding.

A woman with long scarlet hair appeared out of thin air, she worn silver armor and knee-length blue skirt, she's no other than Erza Scarlet, the heroine of Fairy Tail!

Another person popped out, a waving long golden hair with some of them tied in a braid, she had a circlet made of grass placed on her head. The pair of long ears were her most noticeable features and large breasts.

Her name was Shera L. Greenwood, the heroine of How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord.

The third was a slim, attractive, and tall woman, there was a large beauty mark below her right eye. She wore a highly revealing, fur-collared long coat with heart-shaped buttons, panties-like short shorts, and thigh-high boots. Behold, the strongest mage from Nanatsu no Taizai, Merlin-sama!!!

And finally, the last one, a blonde with fair skin. Her hair had shoulder-length bangs that framed her face and the rest reached her lower back. The woman had a diamond shape mark on her forehead.

One of the Sannin, the most beautiful woman of Leaf Hidden Village, the granddaughter of the strongest Shinobi, and the number one medical ninja, Tsunade Senju!!!

My eyes were frantic upon seeing these women, oh my gosh, there was no way it really happened, fictional characters actually came to life, someone please slapped me!!!

The four women stood there for while, their eyes were closed, the lights from the crystals invaded their bodies one by one.

Erza was the first to open her eyes, revealing a brown iris while the other eye was covered by the bang of her hair, and then Shera, Merlin, finally, Tsunade.

Okay, what... what should I do? I should greet them, right? Should I explain anything? But shouldn't the crystals have done the job?

"..."

Oh, crap! I couldn't say anything, for the f*** sake, my image would be ruined in front of this woman!

"Um... h-hi..." I rubbed the back of my head, my T-shirt drenched with cold sweat.

Seemingly catching my anxiety, the four women exchanged glances, they let out a chuckle and giggle.

"Alright, no need to force yourself," Erza smiled.

"Why don't we begin with an introduction? I think it's the appropriate manner!" Shera joined her palms together, she was high in spirit.

"Well, I see your type before, I think it can't be helped," Merlin closed her eyes while curling her lips.

"I think we need to give him some explanations too," Tsunade placed one hand on her hips.

Thankfully, I picked the right woman, huff, I didn't think I could take it if one of them gave me a hard time. I believed that I could summon more women along the way so interacting with these four would build me more confidence for future encounters, for the waifu!
