2: Improving while fighting!

Rayne, the orphan living on the streets of North City was previously running errands for Sir Drawar. The packet in his hands is extremely valuable and made him attract the attention of the mysterious organization that wears an RR insignia.

Now, Rayne is running across the street with the packet in his hand while the assailants follow behind!

"Tsk! This won't do, this kid's stamina is too big! Intercept him on the next turn, we will take the package by force!" Captain Pen's voice came through the intercoms.

"Yes!" Nodded the low-level soldiers as they split up to surround Rayne.

Still unaware, Rayne entered the next street and forcefully stopped himself when he saw the deserted street.

"Uh?! What's going on? Where is everybody?" Rayne took in his surroundings and exclaimed with a pounding heart full of fear. It was a cold day and there was some mist lingering around here.

The lack of light from the night coupled with the mist made the atmosphere of this street extremely gloomy. Shaking he steeled his heart and was about to continue. Five steps later, however, a shout came from nowhere as a shadow pounced on him.

"Ahh!" Frightened out of his wits, Rayne reacted almost purely by instinct as he raised his hand in a fist and punched straight at the man who came out of nowhere. Because of the difference in height, and him coming at Rayne at full speed, he wasn't able to avoid the punch that came towards his lower parts.

"AGHHH!" A frightening howl of pain came and made the hair of all the soldiers stand on end as the second in command, Soldier Deer, fell on his back completely blacked out.

"Shit! The kid defeated Deer with one punch!"

Trembling with fear, Rayne and the soldiers stared at each other without moving. Nobody wanted to pave the way for others only to suffer on the ground later.

"F-fuck! This kid is more terrifying than the old man!" Shaking, Captain Pen gulped as he stared at Rayne.

Because of the mist, neither side could get a proper look at the other. For the assailants, Rayne's shadow was fierce and full of the ruthlessness of an old seasoned assassin. The frightening image wouldn't have shaken them so much if not for him defeating one of the strongest soldiers in their unit with one hit.

For Rayne, however, they looked like sneaky foxes hiding in the shadows and intimidating him, he was so frightened that his body froze in his punching position, causing others to think that he was challenging them without fear!

At this moment, something magical happened. From the corner of his eyes, Rayne saw a game-like screen appearing out of nowhere followed by a row of texts.

At this moment, a burst of confidence came forth from his heart. Rayne didn't hesitate to buy the second idle slot and attached both of his skills to them.

With adrenaline rushing over his head, Rayne stopped hesitating and rushed toward the nearest assailant.

"W-what?!" Shocked by the demon-like kid approaching him, the soldier was unable to react and could only take the punch to his balls.

"AAAAGHH!" With another shocking cry of pain, this soldier was also defeated in one punch!

The scene made all the soldiers shake with fear as they watched this kid who had an overwhelming amount of strength.

"S-shit! This kid is too strong! Only the majors in the army can do this type of thing!" Commander Pen cried out in shock causing the other soldier to be rooted on the spot with fear.

Even though the mist was covering most of them, Rayne noticed that they were shaking with fear and understood quickly that there seemed to be a misunderstanding here. However, that didn't stop him from laughing in his mind as he read the notification coming one after the others as minutes passed with no one moving.
