Rena's POV
A few years have passed, and now I'm officially a high schooler.
"A little more to the left, perfect," a girl remarked. Wondering what I'm up to? Just some ordinary stuff—a photo session. Why, you ask? Well, because I'm being forced to, despite being the strongest immortal in my previous life.
"Wow, miss, you look stunning!" The servant, who's currently my official private maid, Ayumi spoke.
"Why am I doing this..." I muttered.
"You must, miss! Now that you're a high schooler, you'll need photos of yourself for the future! What if you need to show them for some reason?" Ayumi reasoned.
"Sigh* fine..." I lazily acquiesced.
"Great! Now strike a pose and say cheese~" Ayumi shifted back into work mode.
Yare yare, what a troublesome maid I have.
But hold it, Rena. You can easily get rid of her after you gain that power. Soon, just soon, so hold on.

Spring has arrived, signaling the start of school. I woke up at my usual 5 AM and began my day with cultivation to advance to the next stage. By 6:30 AM, I switched to jogging—essential for maintaining health, as I learned from studying the human body. Once you reach a certain realm in cultivation, such exercises become unnecessary, thanks to immunity to debuffs I've yet to attain. Currently at the peak of the mortal realm, a proper push could propel me into the immortal realm. I must reach it soon to activate the "Demon path of cultivation," reserved for immortals. Below that realm, attempting to use it would turn one into a mindless demon.
Sigh* if not for the thinness of the qi in this world, I'd already be at the top of the world, glazing at these insects called human beings.
After jogging and a brief workout, I showered and had breakfast prepared by Ayumi. I then headed to school, where sakura trees were in full bloom. just by seeing it, I can guess the petals ready to dance in the breeze within an hour. Grinning at my hypothesis, I strolled happily toward school.
No, I'll take back my word, I strolled not happily towards school. I mean, without any reaction towards school. Argh!
Arriving early, few others were present. I didn't yet know my class location, but using my power would make finding it easy. Yet, I decided to wait for the opening ceremony in an hour.
Choosing to meditate under a large sakura tree until the ceremony began, I settled in, only to be interrupted by a figure approaching me. Irritated, I opened my eyes.
"What?" I asked, eyeing the figure—a girl, it turned out. If it were a guy, well, let's just say his school life would be over after I opened my eyes.
"Ah, sorry! Did I interrupt you?" she said smoothly, giving me an apologetic smile. Her long pink hair matched the falling sakura petals around us. "Also, what are you doing here? the open ceremony will start soon you know," The girl continued.
"The opening ceremony starts in 23 minutes, which isn't soon," I replied, closing back my eyes.
"What do you mean, not soon? 23 minutes is plenty soon!" she retorted, waving her hands energetically. What with this girl, a kid?
"I decided what I think fit, and it's none of your concern," I spoke, opening my eyes. The girl's gaze was seemingly troubled, wanting to apologize again as if she did something wrong. Sighed, I rise and start heading to the ceremony site. Not wanting to deal with this girl anymore.
"Eh, W-Wait for me!" she stuttered, hurrying to catch up.

The opening ceremony was brief. After the headmaster's closing remarks, students dispersed to their classes. My class is 1-B which is placed on the first floor. Of course, every 1st year is placed on the first floor. First placed on first, how ironic.
Once seated, a male teacher entered, introducing himself as our homeroom teacher. He then called for introductions.
What a pain.
Thankfully, seated in the back row, I'd be the last to introduce myself—something I cared little about anyway. Others spoke, some humorously, others nervously. It seems like the pink-haired girl earlier is in the same class as me. She sat in the middle of the class.
Not long after, my turn has come. I stood up and prepared to speak,
"Uhh, Amanozako Rena. Nice to meet you." I spoke in a flat tone, then back to my seat. Well, that's all. What do you expect? do you expect me to do some kind of cute girl voice while introducing myself? "Hi everyone! My name is Amanozako Rena, you can casually call me by my front name! My dream is to become friends with everyone! Giggle giggle". Do you think I would do that? HELL NA! I have a motto in my life that can't be broken no matter what. And that is-
Before I could continue my internal monologue, a square message appeared in my vision:
