"This is what you said, so you can't go back on your word!"
As expected, upon hearing this, Link immediately changed his mind and replied, "Deal!"
"Haha, now that's more like it!"
Seeing him agree, Bruno let out a heavy sigh of relief.
At that moment, Ron timely entered with several servants from the Clown Manor.
"You lot, lift him up."
While Bruno instructed the servants to carry the lifeless Clark, he turned to Link and said, "Kerr, make sure to tidy up today. Tomorrow morning, I will invite the whole clan to see you off!"
With that, Lord Bruno finally turned and left with his entourage.
Suddenly, only Link and his loyal servant Ron remained in the small courtyard.
"Young master, please eat slowly!"
Watching Link devour his food like he hadn't eaten in three days, Ron looked on with concern.
But Link was completely oblivious, having nearly finished off a massive roasted fireball porcupine that weighed three to four hundred pounds all by himself!
Ron simply couldn't understand how someone with Link's slender frame could possibly fit so much food inside.
At this moment, Link had finished all the meat on the roasted pig and was reaching for the head, determined not to waste a single morsel!
Unfortunately, just as he bit into the pig's head, he heard a crunch, and something hard nearly shattered his teeth!
"What the hell! What was that?"
Startled, Link quickly reached into the pig's head!
Next, a cherry-sized, blood-red crystal suddenly fell into his palm!
"Could this be... a 'magic core' from a magical beast?"
Seeing this, Ron gasped, as if he had realized something.
"What's a 'magic core'?" Link asked, puzzled.
"Young master, this 'magic core' is a precious item. It is said to be the source of a magical beast's power, containing extremely pure magical energy, and it's worth quite a lot. Just this one is worth at least a hundred gold coins!" Ron said, filled with envy.
