Are they that afraid of pirates?

Because today was the day that the always tranquil and secure village of Foosha witnessed the departure of someone who had always been the source of their pride, some villagers were seen coming out from their homes while wearing expressions of sadness.

The individual in question is Garp, Luffy's grandfather, who is also a Vice Admiral, and even though Garp is a marine hero, for the Foosha villagers, Garp is also their hero. This is because whenever Garp spends his holidays in this village, the presence of Marine Hero will frighten pirates or even mountain bandits from making any trouble in this village.

Meanwhile, some of the Foosha villagers were seen bringing various foods and souvenirs. Garp was heard laughing and reassuring the Foosha villagers that they had nothing to worry about while the villagers expressed their concerns to him.

Just as Garp was about to board the ship, Luffy, who had been pursuing him from behind, finally caught up with him. Garp, who was a little surprised, asked, "are you here to stop me and cry like before?"

Luffy responded by handing the old man a piece of paper while answering, "Who would cry just because of you? I'm here just to give this in case an old man like you forgets easily."

"Humm, I see, in the end having you here makes it easier for me to leave right away."

After taking the scraps of paper from Luffy's hand, Garp began to climb aboard the warship, which had a dog figurehead biting a large bone at the head of the ship and a doghouse at the end of the mast.

When compared to other types of marine ships, Garp's Vice Admiral ship is significantly larger and can be classified as a battleship-class vessel. Additionally, the marines under Garp's command are seasoned veterans who have spent a considerable amount of years sailing on this vast sea.

After the marines finished transporting several boxes containing food and other supplies to the ship, Garp then ordered them to start sailing.

Garp sighed and turned around as he saw Luffy's figure standing on the pier as he took one final look at Foosha village while he remained standing tall and confident.

"Are you not crying anymore, Luffy?" Makino asked when she saw Luffy, who had returned to the bar, and she asked like that because she knew that Luffy would usually cry every time Garp left him alone in this village.

"Have you forgotten that I lost my memory, Makino" Luffy replied as he returned to his seat on the bartender counter.

"Oh, I forgot, but at least you're feeling a little down, right?"

Makino's expression looked thoughtful for a split second before she quickly covered it. In the meantime, Luffy, who seemed to know what Makino was thinking, began to change the subject to avoid further embarrassment:

"Can we stop talking about that old man who likes to hit my head."

'At least he still feels something,' thought Makino with a big smile.

Because all the bar customers had left earlier when they wanted to take Garp to the port, Makino took this opportunity to do some cleaning for a while. She began wiping the tables and sweeping the floor.

Meanwhile, Luffy, who seemed to have no intention of helping, just kept watching Makino, and if you look at it clearly, Luffy's gaze seems to be pointing at Makino's ass. He also looks a little out of breath.

Makino, who seemed to feel Luffy's gaze, turned around and looked at him before asking, "How about you come to help me?"

"Help doing what?"

"How about you go to the village chief's house to pick up my order?"

When Makino saw Luffy's brows furrow, she had no choice but to try to entice him with a reward. She said, "Are you sure you don't want to? In return, I will cook your favorite dinner tonight."

Luffy thought to himself, 'I guess I will go, even though I won't get tired of looking at Makino's body all day long, but I also want to go outside to get some fresh air.'.

Luffy then got off the bartender's counter and headed to the village head's house to pick up Makino's order. Meanwhile, Makino, who saw Luffy had left, sighed.

Makino muttered, "I hope he finds friends along the way, so he doesn't feel alone," as she swept the floor and wiped the tables.

Luffy then proceeded to walk through the Foosha village. Occasionally, he will faintly hear the conversation between the villagers, who had worried expressions on their faces, but Luffy just ignored it.

In my view, Foosha Village is without a doubt one of the safest locations in the entire world of One Piece.

"But perhaps their reaction is natural, huh? If I'm not mistaken, most ordinary citizens in the world of One Piece are really afraid of the existence of pirates, and all of that stigma might change in the future."

After walking toward the beach area, Luffy stopped at an old house that looked deserted with no life inside. However, when Luffy calls the village head's name several times, an old woman's voice comes from inside the house.

"ohh, is that you, Luffy? If you're looking for my husband, he's fishing where he usually is."
