I, Ren Milton, died in a car crash at 18 years.

In my sweet 18 years, I've done nothing but read novels or other types of literature or just straight-up studying.

Well, if you could even call it studying…

Due to my inattentive ADHD, I always had some difficulties concentrating on my studies, but I tried my best, regardless.

Thanks to that, even if I had to admit that I got distracted more times than I could count, I was the best in my grade.

Many people even called me a genius, because of my high intelligence. Still, intelligence wasn't enough if I didn't have a social life.

As I never had any friends or girlfriends for that matter, it was easy for me to dedicate my life to studying or reading. I was an introvert anyway, so that certainly helped me go through my life without friends.

However, I wouldn't have anything against having a girlfriend. I planned to get one after graduating Highschool, but it seemed like I didn't get the chance to make my plans come true.

On a typical day, just like every other one, I was on my way home. However, I got quickly distracted by a passing cat on the street, not realizing that a car was coming.

And then boom.

I fucking died.

Well, I couldn't blame the driver for killing me, though. It was my dumbass fault, anyway.

Surprisingly, death wasn't that painful, so I was pretty much chilling.

Though there was a part that I certainly didn't expect.

When I opened my eyes, I was transmigrated into the body of one of the characters of a novel I'd read.

And no, it wasn't inside the body of a villain, an extra, or the main character.

I was reincarnated as the female lead of the novel 'Rise of the hero'.

As a man.

Rise of the hero was a pretty cliché novel, where the main character wanted to be a hero due to him getting saved by his master at a young age.

Inspired by his master, he wanted to save other people too.

After mastering everything his master taught him, he soon set off, entering the magic Academy of Arcadien at 16, where he met the other characters.

Unfortunately, it was a harem, so I soon dropped that shit.

Although I was transmigrated into the body of the supposed main female lead, I barely knew anything about her.

While I understood the basics of the system, such as stats or skills, there was a section I'd never heard of.

'Characteristics'.

However, just because I'd never heard of it, didn't mean that I couldn't understand what it meant. I wasn't stupid after all.

That section was probably a mix of the different characteristics the female lead had or was supposed to have.

"Wait for a second..."

A small smirk formed on my face as my eyes moved over to my skills.

As I spent most of my previous life reading or studying, these skills were probably a manifestation of that, so the content of the skills didn't necessarily surprise me.

However, together, both of them seemed stupidly broken, as my growth rate would just be significantly higher than that of even a genius, maybe even the protagonist.

As I said those words, instantly I could feel some sort of strange energy pump into my eyes as I started reading the system window.

The world seemed to get replaced by words and letters, as the information just practically flowed into my mind.

It seemed like my guesses were right.

Characteristics belonged to the previous female lead, and will sooner or later mix with mine. That was a thing that I just couldn't stop.

While that was mostly a good thing, as most characteristics were pretty nice, I froze up, as I stopped by a specific characteristic.

'In love with the protagonist'

I shuddered at the thought of developing feelings toward another guy, so I would like to avoid him if possible.

Shaking my head, I looked for a mirror to examine myself.

Although I had already roughly read about what the main female lead 'Weiss' looked like, seeing myself would probably be slightly different, as my imagination probably couldn't accurately the image the author wanted me to see.

Of course, there were some other questions, such as why I was transmigrated in the first place, but thinking about such things would simply be a waste of time, as I was pretty confident in not being able to find an answer, anyway.

Let's just accept the current situation and work with it then.

I looked through my room, scanning my environment.

Even though I was still young, my appearance could be described as nothing but beautiful.

No, beautiful was an understatement.

She was straight-up, breathtaking. A beauty that couldn't be described in mere words.

Her face with icy blue eyes and snow-white hair, combined with her soft, silky, and pale skin, truly embodied the very concept of winter with her appearance alone.

The rosy red of her lips created a contrast to her winter-themed appearance, making her face just look complete.

"I am really fucking cute."

Truthfully, I can see why Weiss was so popular in the novel.

Although my appearance right now was considered to be 'cute', the potential to turn into a hot mommy certainly existed.

Finishing scanning my own appearance, I nodded, devising a plan on how to proceed inside this world.

"It would've been a waste to just let such an opportunity slip by..."

I muttered as I jumped off my bed and walked toward my door.

As this was probably the mansion of the Azelios family, I was certain that a library had to exist in this world.

Thus, I decided to inform myself of the current state of the world and its culture, so that I won't stick out like a sore thumb.

At first, I wanted to just lean back and relax in my new life, as I already had every asset that I needed, but was quickly reminded that this wasn't just any world.

It was a novel, and as such, problems and conflicts were guaranteed to arise.

Recalling that important information, I quickly realized that just lazing around wasn't an option, as I had to gain power.

After all, being powerful would also mean that dangers and problems would be easier to solve, right?

Releasing a heavy sigh, I cracked my tiny neck.

On the one hand, I was excited about the opportunity to explore another world with the possibility of turning into an overpowered main character, but on the other hand, it somehow also seemed like a pain in the ass.
