A summer camp at a remote village goes very wrong. Strange disappearances occur and the only clue is the disappearence of a girl named Sarah five years ago and the rumour surrounding it. So when her friends go missing Stephanie takes it upon herself to solve the mystery, only to find something much sinister. Stephanie knew she wasn't as normal a girl she would like herself to be, after all normal girls don't hear the mute boy speak, do they?
*Day 1*
*Ringing*
"Hey Jim, what are you doing ?"
" Nothing much, baby sitting my cousin this week.
How is the summer camp?"
" It's awesome, you won't belive how friendly these people are. I admit the camp is in a remote area but the villagers are super nice and since it's an all girl camp, it feel like sorority party."
" That's good, enjoy your stay. Uh you really got me jealous, it's Friday night and I am stuck qt home baby sitting "
" Why where's Evan?"
" He ditched me for his boyfriend."
Sarah chuckled hearing that. " gotta go now".
" I am hanging up then".
*Jim hangs up*
"Uff, The service here is pretty bad."
# Sarah had to get out of the campus grounds to make a call or send texts. The campus was at the edge of a small forest, Sarah was standing right now in front of it. Sarah had heard that although the forest didn't have any dangerous animals , the locals avoided it. Sarah didn't think much about it.
Sarah texted her best friend Emily that she she has arrived and proceeded to go her Dorm.
In her Dorm, she met Susan, Jasmine and Andrea. Susan and Jasmine were locals but Andrea was a city girl, like her.
The girls chatted for a long time before going to bed.
"Hey, hey Sarah!", Andrea shook Sarah awake.
" hmmm?"
" Do you hear that ?"
" What ?"
" The strange melody like a lullaby"
Sarah strained her ears, but she couldn't hear anything.
" Nah".
" Wait here, I am gonna go investigate. Wanna come with me ?"
" uh, do I have to?"
" Come on, it's gonna be fun."
" okay , no need to wake those two up . I am going with you."
Sarah and Andrea went outside the dormitory and to the campus grounds.
" Sarah, can you hear it ? I sounds are coming from the forest? It's damn loud here. I wonder why the others haven't come out ?"
" what sound? I hear nothing".
Andrea looked at Sarah like she was retarded.
" The melody, I can't make out the words but it's good. It's coming from the forest, I am gonna go to It's source."
" No way . Uh-huh , that's insane. Why would you go to the forest in the middle of tge night?"
" They might be partying there."
" This is remote village. There isn't even proper network. No there aren't people partying in the forest. I am not going. And how will you go, the gate is closed any way".
" hump, you are a joy kill . Wait for me I am going alone, please? Here take my number , I will message you . I am going over the wall. You Wait here for me,OK?"
" Fine, just don't take too long"
"You are the best".
Sarah, couldn't believe how she got roped into it. Sarah wasn't particularly worried about Andrea, as the woods weren't dangerous and they were small enough that you wouldn't get lost. She was just bored standing there.
After, almost 10 mins she got a message from Andrea.
" OH , there's really people here. It happens to be a band practicing. They are going in the forest to not disturb anybody. There are more than 20 people here , all my age . I am gonna have fun. You can return to the Dorm. I will be back before morning."
"Wtf???", Sarah was thinking.
Sarah returned to the Dorm, she wasn't much worried about Emily, as she had crashed a lot of parties in her city uninvited but all of these was going to change in the morning.
