It has been a week since humans got summoned to this mysterious world. Many people still can't accept this reality and some of them even do suicide. The others start to accept this and act accordingly. Some people got overconfident and fight monsters without preparation. So without a doubt, some of them got killed.
Siji is still training his combat skill in the training centre even after a week. He just eat the hard bread that he got from the beginning. Everyone get a supply for a week, and then they need to find their own food, drink, & money. This will be Siji's last day in this place, because his food will only last for today.
Many people that train here, only train for 3 days like what the guidebook say. Only Siji that is still training for a week and not quitting. People start to call him idiot or training madman, but he didn't care. Siji still can't feel comfortable with his weapon in 3 days, so he extend his training.
"There's no use to fight monsters if i can't even control my weapon correctly. I need to get used to it first, and i feel this training centre help me achieve that faster."-Siji
3 days after he start training, Siji got a skill. It was Basic Sword skill, that contain basic use of sword. Other people stop training after they get their basic skills, but Siji is not. Siji know that just because he got the skill, didn't mean he's skilled enough to use it in real fight.
"Just a little more, i can feel it, i start to get used to my cutlass."-Siji
Siji swing his cutlass in many different angle and positions. He do it like the basic skill before, but now it start to change into his style. Even if this skill make it like a game, but this is still real world. People may have the same skill, but their executions are different, because of their personality. Siji just did a diagonal swing, when suddenly a notification popped out.
[Congratulation, player has finished hidden quest.
Hidden Quest: Train to The Limit
Train for the maximum duration allowed in your first training using training centre (24 x 7 hours).
Reward: 25 Stat points & a unique skill.
Ultra Fast Learning (Passive) = Allow player to learn anything at very fast speed.]
Siji surprised because suddenly he got a reward. He got 25 SP and a skill, just when he want to end his training. He read the skill description, and it seem it basically just allow him to learn at fast speed. He don't know what it mean by 'anything', so he need to find out.
"Anything huh? Let's try to use it on my swordsmanship."-Siji
Siji then swing his cutlass like his training and suddenly he start to understand more of his sword skill. He find his weakness, strength, and waste movement just after some move. Siji smile and laugh loudly, he know he just got a jackpot.
"This skill just make me a Super Duper Genius guy. It's also a unique skill, which means only i have this skill. I don't know if someone out there have train for 7 days straight like me, but even if some people did, it will not be that many. I assume they will get a unique skill too."-Siji
Siji think that he got this skill because he want to learn his sword art better. Some people may have other reason, so they could get skill based on their reason. Or maybe he just think too much and it's random. He's not even sure that there is someone that train for 7 days straight like him.
[Achievement unlock: Train to The Limit - 2nd badge]
'!!! 2nd? So there is someone that start before me, and maybe there are more after me.'-Siji
Siji didn't really surprised by this, anything can happen afterall. People have different thoughts and reason to do something. Beside, he has predicted this already, there is no shortage of people with unique thinking out there.
Siji then go back to the barrack, it is a facility for those that are still training. Once they leave the training centre, they can't use the barrack again. Everyone get some starter money, but it only can support them for a week. Like renting an inn room, buy food and some more needs.
At first, everyone want to help each other by giving rooms and foods for free. But they can't enter the room or touch the food for free, because it's considered as crime which can't happen in this city. They have no choice but to pay for it to the ones that get the jobs as inn keeper or food seller. Now, this place really run like a real city.
The next day, Siji wake up and eat his last bread and water. He really need to leave the city and hunt monsters to earn money. He take a shower from a well behind the barrack, then wear his gears. He has tried to drink the water from the well, but he can't. It is undrinkable and the consequence is stomachache that he didn't want to get.
Siji then go out from the training centre and go to the city gate. Some people recognize him as training madman and laugh at him. Siji didn't care at all, he just feel that these guys are very pitiful. People tend to look down on other people to make themselves feel better.
Siji reach the gate and leave the city. He see the plain field outside the city and many players that hunt low level monsters. Siji want to get out too, when he remember his reward. He hasn't distribute his new SP to his stats.
25 SP are plenty, and similar to level up 5 times. Each level up give player 5 SP, he know this from the guidebook. That's why player need to find another way to get SP except levelling up. It will be pointless to have high level but low stats.

'I will leave Intelligence for now, i didn't have any magic skill, so it will be pointless for me. Strength and agility is still the most important stat, and vitality will not let me die easily. I was confused to why there's no HP, but i see that people got injured and bleeding, so there's no concept of HP like game.'-Siji
Siji then go to the field and look for monsters to hunt. He walk for sometime, but the lowest level monsters, slimes have been hunted clean in the vicinity. Siji have no choice but to go further to hunt something with higher level than slimes.
He walk for sometimes and the player that hunt monsters in this area start to reduce. It seem many players are still afraid of monster other than slime. Siji look around and see a chicken, but this chicken is as big as a sheep, and it has 2 head.
[Thicken Lv. 3]
"Thicken? Well, it's certainly thicker than normal chicken, but this name is a bit..."-Siji
Siji stop his useless thinking and get ready. The Thicken hasn't got alerted, so it's the best chance to strike. Siji move closer quietly, then he jump and make a diagonal slash from his upper right at the Thicken's head. Siji succeed to cut one head, but the other is still intact and got alerted.
"PETHOOKK"-Thicken
"WHAT THE HECK!?"-Siji
The Thicken's voice is really thick and deep, it really live up to it's name. Siji is very surprised because of the voice. It's really out of his expectation, to think a chicken have such a manly voice.
When he lose focus, the Thicken attack him and Siji come to his sense. Siji block the beak attack with his cutlass and he roll back. Then the Thicken run toward Siji, so he wait the monster to come. The Thicken jump and make wind with it's wings.
Siji see the attack and suddenly he find a weakspot of the monster. Siji duck and slide forward, he arrive right below the Thicken's last head. Then he slash the last head from below with all his strength, and cut the head. Blood splattered, but Siji is calm, he's a village boy, so he has kill a livestock before. This Thicken is just a bigger chicken.
[Defeating Thicken Lv. 3, Exp: 150 (Bonus first kill)]
[Level up, SP: +5]
[Siji: Level 2. XP: 150/200]
"That sudden finding of weakness, it must be part of Ultra Fast Learning. I learn the monster's movement and attack, then find the weak spot. It's good, but i need to train it so i won't get surprised or distracted, and it need focus. I also find my weakness in real fight situation, so i need to fight more if i want to fix it. Alright, let's slaughter these monsters."-Siji
Siji then hunt the Ticken monsters in the vicinity. They're just low levels, only about lv.2-4, and won't make him level up faster. But he use this chance to train his technique and get money. He can sell the monster carcass too for some money in the city.
Siji go back to the town when it start to get dark. He has level up to lv 5 just from killing those Thickens. He have killed 13 Thickens and put them in his inventory. He sell 12 corpse to the Assosiation and got 12 Small Silver. Each of them is 1 Small Silver, and it will be higher if Siji dismantle it corectly, but he can't.
He sold 12 because he ate one for his lunch. He forgot that he didn't have food anymore, so he eat the Thicken and cook it with his meager cooking skill. It's not good, but he devour all of it. He's just very hungry to care about taste.
Siji then go to find an inn to sleep for tonight and get something decent for dinner. He find a cheap inn and get a room for 5 Big Bronze. It's the prize for the average inns in the city with a room of 3x3 meters with bed and breakfast.
The currency in this world is:
Bronze < Silver < Gold < Platinum.
The exchange rate in this world is 1 Big Coin = 10 Small Coins.
1 small coin of higher currency is same with 10 big coin of smaller currency.
So 1 Small Platinum = 10 Big Gold, 1 Big Platinum = 1 Million Big Bronze.
Siji can't even imagine what he can have with 1 platinum. He can only think that it will only be usefull in the deeper levels. The items will get more expensive when player's level raise and when they reach the deeper levels.
Siji then sleep after eating his dinner and prepare himself for tomorrow. His first day hunting monsters went well, but he know it will not always happen like that. Tomorrow he will buy many necessities that can help him to hunt monsters safer.
The next day, Siji wake up and take a shower with the well water behind the inn. Then he eat a breakfast that has been prepared by the inn. Altough it's cheap, but the food is good, so he decide to extend his rent for a week more.
Then Siji walk around the market to find necessities. He buy potions, first aid kit, and some food supplies. He know he can cook his hunted monster, but he need some seasoning to make it edible. At least he need salt and pepper so the taste won't be plain.
"If i want to eat the monster i hunt, i can't hunt slime. They're not edible at all, their jelly like body is an alchemic ingredients, not food. I need to hunt monster with edible meat."-Siji
So Siji decide to buy an ensyclopedia about monster. It is filled with monsters that have been found, and will get updated everytime there is a discovery. With this, he will know which monster to hunt if he's hungry.
"Alright, let's get stronger and survive today."-Siji
