Beauxbatons Academy of Magic | 31st August 1985 | 12 PM
The two went inside the building. It was very pleasant inside. They walked forward and stopped in front of the wall. There was a map of the building painted on the wall. The dorm had 14 rooms and one huge bathroom. Since there were three boys per room, the entire dormitory only had 42 people.
This was because the dormitory was reserved for first years. Since they were new to the school, the school was designed in such a way that the first years could make a lot of friends in their first year itself. This was why the first years had the whole dormitory for themselves.
Charlus looked at the map and saw his name written under the room 11. Lucas, unfortunately, wasn't in the same room as him. Lucas was allotted to room 12. The thought that Lucas' room was just beside his decreased the disappointment Charlus had.
Charlus went to his room with Lucas, and they parted ways in the corridor. Charlus entered his room and saw his luggage placed neatly beside one of the beds. Charlus had not taken his luggage with him through the formation. He had submitted it as asked by some Ministry officials. They had checked it for security purposes and directly brought it to the Academy.
Charlus looked around his room for the next one year. The room was about 400 square feet. There were three beds side by side, in a single row. These beds had the gap of one bedside table between them, each having one with a lamp. Charlus thought that they were for late night reading.
He sat down on his bed and looked at the time. It was 12:15. Lunch was at 1:30, and since his room mates hadn't arrived at Beauxbatons yet, he had to wait for a while.
2 minutes later, Charlus got bored and decided to explore the campus. He went outside the building with nothing other than his map. He first went to the gardens that were beside the building for Herbology classes. There was also a green house beside the herbology building, but Charlus didn't recognize the 'huge building made of white cloth' due to his young age.
He entered the garden and immediately saw someone he recognized.
"Fleur!"
In the garden, on a bench, Fleur was sitting alone. She saw Charlus and walked towards him. They hugged each other and started talking about all the things they were too lazy to write on a piece of paper.
"You came to Beauxbatons!"
They continued to talk until the topic of French came up.
"You don't know French? I will teach you. You teach English. Promise?"
Charlus felt very relieved. He was very relieved about going through the classes.
"What about till I learn French?"
Charlus asked a very valid question. Learning a language would take a lot of time. Charlus was curious if there was any magic to help him.
"There is a potion to help you. Any way, classes start day after tomorrow, so we have time. Lunch?"
Fleur and Charlus went to the dining room together. Behind the two, there was a very suspicious figure stalking them. The suspicious figure was hiding behind a bush and listening to their conversation.
Charlus felt something was odd, and so he turned his head to look behind him. He, however, did not find anything out of the ordinary. So he looked straight again, and continued to the dining area with Fleur.
The figure suddenly reappeared out of thin air. The figure continued stalking the two children.

Dumbledore's Office | 31st August 1985 | 12 PM
"Dumbledore! Dumbledore!" Sirius frantically came out of the fireplace and shouted out for Dumbledore.
The headmaster's office was decorated lavishly. Directly opposite to the fireplace was the headmaster's desk, facing the fire place sideways. Behind the desk, relaxing in his leather chair, was Dumbledore. Dumbledore looked at Sirius and said, "Relax my boy. Nothing good will come out of haste. Have a seat. Lemon Drop?"
Sirius calmed down and sat opposite to Dumbledore on one of the two chairs facing him. He took a few minutes to calm down. He then took out the report of Charlus' conditions and ailments the goblins had given him and handed it to Dumbledore. Dumbledore looked a bit curious and took the report.
"I was scared when I saw the report. I didn't know what to do so I rushed here. I wanted to go to Charlus, but he went to Beauxbatons just an hour back, and he might be safer there with the healers there than with me."
Sirius' breath quickened.
"Calm down Sirius. It does no good to think too much." Dumbledore calmed Sirius down. "The details in this report are very.... surprising. I understand why this phenomena is happening in Charlus' body, but I'm more curious as to how it started."
Looking at Sirius' confused expression, Dumbledore explained to him.
"The problem in Charlus' body if the blood of the Phoenix. It is very difficult to procure the blood, even a single drop. Till now, Fawkes had only shed one drop of blood till now, and that was after my mentor donated a drop of freely given unicorn blood to him. Leaving that aside, what happened to the boy was most probably due to the introduction of Phoenix blood to his body. It must have been before his first birthday, or he wouldn't survive the adaptation. It must have been done by the mysterious savior.
What this blood is doing, is it is converting Charlus into a magical creature. When a superior magical creature encounters an inferior one, it either multiplies itself to equal the other party, or it will simple eradicate the other party. That's why there are only half-veelas and no quarter -veelas. As Phoenixes are light creatures, they will accomplish the former. The Phoenix blood in Charlus slowly converted almost half of Charlus' blood into that of a Phoenix's. This process will take an unknown amount of time, but the goblins have clearly put down a date for completion.
Charlus will become a half-Phoenix on 17th of September."
