In the enchanted era of Magi's Parade, walking labyrinths known as behemoths populate the world. Within the world exists those daring enough to explore these labyrinths for untold riches, fame, and power in the form of wisps: the physical embodiment of magic.
Though often weak and inconsequential on their own, when combined skillfully with other wisps one can create a magic worth more than the sum of its parts. However, the magical abilities gained from doing so are only temporary as everything, including magic, decays.
Cypher Gourd—one of the many failed ambitious youth seeking to prove themselves fights to join one of the many famous guilds scattered throughout the continent with only one goal in mind since birth: to become the greatest Magi. However, after numerous failed attempts he finally takes his first step in the right direction, however, this is through the joining of a no name guild under a man as young and as dangerously ambitious as himself.
