Chapter 1PROLOGUE

Life is where everything begins and ends in the human being. From childhood our parents forge us with their character and give us a path in life to follow, but there are times when our lives change course so much that it is impossible to know what our future will be.

To put it another way, our life is built on where we are going and where we are coming from, most people are clear about this fact, but some of them are not. When we go from place to place, changing friends, homes, school, it becomes annoying to think about our lives and we don't know exactly where we are going so our future looks confusing, locking up our emotions, isolating us from the rest. But there are times when life rewards us and that is when we believe that our path is already forged that surprisingly takes an unexpected turn that can change our whole life and our future.

Horwich is a small town located somewhere in England where for many years it has kept a great secret, a very big treasure, but the citizens were not disturbed or curious about it and few were those who knew about this secret, until a few years ago the town changed its mayor and everything became very strange, to the point that the town started to be governed by some strange rules and sometimes voices or strange sounds were heard. This secret begins with the Horwich necklace, a necklace that passed from generation to generation of the chosen ones, this necklace was the key to find the treasure, according to old legends the founder of the town Crowlhan Horwich discovered some relic that would give wealth and power to the person who found it, but this object when falling in bad hands could destroy and change not only the town but the whole world, that's why C. Horwich hid it in the depths of the village and that only the descendants of Horwich have the key to find the relic and the duty to protect not only the treasure but the village and the whole world.

The story focuses on Aiden Rowell, a 16 year old boy whose life has not gone well. At the age of 9, he lost his father in an accident and since then his mother has had to work to support the household. Not until Aiden's mother is permanently transferred to the city of Horwich will this young teenager's life change forever.
