Chapter 169: In Different Worlds

Kanchou, along with the gang suddenly disappeared as they entered the sea of quanta. And they didn't know that first timers would be disoriented and confused. Ein also noticed that it was activated suddenly, so they would be thrown out of the vessel and will be scattered.

"Hmm, interesting. Should I go? Or should I not?" He was contemplating to follow them and see their shenanigans in the bubble universe they entered, but Hua came flying at him while she was surfing her sword, breaking his thoughts as he caught her.

"Whoaaa, what's the excitement all about?" He smiled and patted her head, thinking that she was just like a dog that just saw its owner.

"Ein-nii, I finally found this cool figurine of me that you hid. Is there anything else I can do? Or better yet, anything we could do?" She was really excited and Ein's little treasure hunt for her got her going like a kid in a sugar rush.

"Calm down, calm down. Too bad, the others have already left." He gave a wry smile and Hua deflated. He then thought that he couldn't bring her there anyways, as she would cause chaos at their little retreat. Nobody in the group that went with Kanchou could handle her if they rub her the wrong way.

"Awww. Then let's go on our own adventure! Where we mess things up! Ohhhh, just thinking of it is exciting!" Hua suggested and he contemplated a bit. He then agreed as taking some bit of time to make her happy and content would be better in the long run.

"Okay then, you asked for it. I'm pretty easy to talk to." He shrugged and gave her a milkshake so she could focus on something for a bit and listen.

"Yatta! So? Where are we going? Is it a place where we'll save the world? Or, or, is it a world of swords and magic? Or we save that princess in that turtle's castle, eat mushrooms and get high!?" Hua sent out a barrage of questions and he raised a brow at her last question.

"Where did you even learn about shrooms? But the answer to all your questions is no, we're going to a place where it's pretty much the same as ours. But there is one crucial thing, I don't exist anywhere else but this particular universe." He smirked and Hua's mind started running.

"Ohh. OHHH! Then that means..." She got really excited and waited for him to say it. "Yes, the universe we will be going in would be filled with crap and disarray. Imagine a world where my noodles and food don't exist, pretty sad right?" He puffed up his chest and Hua couldn't imagine it. She would die if she didn't get her dose of food and noodles.

"That's... Horrible, let's spread your wonderful influence on that heretic world Ein-nii. They'll be grateful to receive the gospel." Hua prayed and he laughed at her antics.

"Hmmm, it seems I've raised you right. Unlike Fu Hua that has terrible timing for her punchlines. Come on, let's go then." He hugged her waist and they disappeared to some fortunate or unfortunate world.

At the blistering summer heat wave. A woman was walking around Soukai city where St. Freya was nearby. "Ugh. What the hell, my brain... It is melting." Kanchou fanned herself with her hat as she sweated like a pig. The cruel rays of the sun beating down on her.

"Hah. Hah, fucking cicadas man. They're going to drive me insane!" Kanchou glared at the cicadas that were chirping on the trees.

The blistering heat without wind, noisy cicadas, and dehydration started to take a toll on her as her vision started swimming. She got more and more confused and hallucinations plagued her mind.

"Hah. This sensation, am I going to another world? A mundane wage slave becoming an all powerful Pokemon master!? Will I get all the bitches once I become the ultimate Pokemon trainer?" She was starting to lose it and people suspiciously stared at her.

"Send me to a parallel universe! Will I see Ash's mum? Her husband is absent right? He's dead right? Or will I see a pretty girl in a maid costume? Calling me goshujin-sama, ahhh~" Kanchou was stewing in her own delusion as the sudden warp confused her greatly like interdimensional jetlag.

She then closed her eyes and thought that the floaty feeling she experienced was her going to a parallel universe. And that when she opens her eyes again, she'll be in a nice place where beauties will serve her.

"Hey, you. Yeah you! I'm talking to you. You suspicious looking individual!" A young and busty teen stopped her in her tracks and she opened her eyes. Noticing that the girl in front of her looks familiar.

'Wait, that red hair and gigantic oppai. Those majestic milkers with the sexy mole on the right melon. H-Himeko-san?'

"Oi, you there. You're looking mighty suspicious there, talking to yourself and fidgeting like a creep in the middle of the road." The younger Himeko squinted her eyes at Kanchou and she gasped.

"A... A creep? Who are you anyway?" Kanchou got emotional damage and Himeko kept on watching her like an eagle.

"I'm with the voluntary police of Soukai city. There are reports of attacks here. I'm gonna need you to come with me for questioning." Himeko said with steel in her voice.

"W-what!? Why me!?" Kanchou was outraged and shouted out, making a scene. "Given the strange circumstances on how these attacks happen. Strangers like you are the prime suspects! Especially suspicious creeps like you." Himeko squinted her eyes and Kanchou got nervous.

"Me!? The suspect!? I'm definitely not the criminal here, and what do you mean creep!?" Kanchou got heated.

"All the victims are tall, young women who are still unconscious after the attack. And you, you creepy individual. Has been shouting at the middle of the road about someone's wife and a pretty girl in a maid outfit! If that isn't suspicious as hell, I don't know what, is." Himeko said with suspicion and Kanchou flinched.

"And there's no external wounds except animal bites from a canine on their necks." Himeko informed her and Kanchou got thinking.

'Wait a minute... That's clearly a vampire isn't it? I'm walking at the blistering rays of the sun god damnit. We're not dealing with some kind of gothic fanfic here.' Kanchou got annoyed as hell.

"Your hands have calluses that indicate frequent use of firearms." Himeko observed her and with her high intelligence, she gained more evidence against Kanchou.

"Ahhh, this is because instructor Bronya cannot accept someone that is to be captain Ein's substitute if they aren't gamers. Her gaming sessions are insane you know, this is from using the arcade sticks too much." Kanchou told her, but Himeko didn't believe her one bit.

"Burn marks on your shins... Probably from military grade munitions." Himeko pointed out as Kanchou wore shorts.

"Ohh, this one is from instructor Sin's training. Saying that someone who can't even dodge bullets is not viable to be captain Ein's substitute." Kanchou nodded in pride at her medals of honor for surviving.

"Instructors? You have military training!" Himeko got even more suspicious and Kanchou didn't think much of it as it was a daily routine in her life now.

"Eh, it's just daily evasion training and defensive tactics. Instructor Sin always used live ammunition as she told me the real experience was the best teacher. And it would be okay if she misses my head or heart." Kanchou got nostalgic even though they haven't been together for long yet.

"Well, she's right anyways." Himeko shrugged and Kanchou nodded. "I was almost killed in multiple occasions in these training sessions..." Kanchou answered dispiritedly.

Kanchou then decided to fish for more information. Thinking of big brain strats like how Bronya and Sin would talk to her sometimes and get important info about her without her noticing.

"Wait, the way you talk sounds like Himeko?" Kanchou probed and Himeko, of course got surprised and even more agitated.

"Wait!? How do you know my name is Himeko?" The redhead glared at her and thought she was a spy or something.

"Your name is Himeko too? And what do you mean? Your burning red hair and that mole on your breast is a pretty 'big' giveaway." Kanchou stared at her tits and Himeko noticed it.

"Excuse me?" She couldn't believe it as Kanchou was still deluded and just went with the flow. "Alright I get it, Himeko-san. Dressing like a teenager gets it out of your system... You might still look the same, but dressing like that just reminds you of your teenage years right?" Kanchou looked at her with understanding and Himeko was confused.

"Dressing up? What do you mean? And I'm 18, well. 18 and a half, that's still a teen right? Anyways, you're definitely suspicious. You shouldn't be able to know my name. You'll be coming with me to the branch." Himeko started pulling on Kanchou's arm.

"Wait! Is it Schicksal far east branch?" Kanchou got confident as she was Hyperion's quartermaster. The most important battleship in St. Freya right now.

"What!? How do you know Schicksal, everybody told me that it's a super classified organization that citizens like you, shouldn't know. That's it, you're super suspicious, I'm taking you in for sure." Himeko held on to her wrist tightly and Kanchou continued explaining.

"Wait! Wait! I'm also a member of Schicksal! I'm the quartermaster of the Hyperion! You can verify my identity!" Kanchou desperately shouted and Himeko looked at her with squinted eyes.

"Hyperion? Didn't we just commission that aerial battleship recently... You are not only a dangerous spy, but a terrible liar as well. You can't even get your facts and Intel right." Himeko was sure she was the culprit or an accessory to the crime.

"Just recently? Wait, one question. Can you tell me what day is today? The year, I mean." Kanchou's gears in her head started spinning and was understanding the circumstances more.

"2006, why are you asking this?" Himeko raised a brow and Kanchou had a realization. "2006... AMAGAD! I just came back to the past!" Kanchou gasped and shouted out.

"Quit your yapping spy, there's a lot of interrogation waiting for you in the branch holding cells. You're definitely behind the night attacks happening here in Soukai city.

Kanchou got arrested and she hoped that her comrades would come in and help her.

Meanwhile, Ein and Hua arrived at a ruined city of Nagazora. The place was teeming with honkai energy and they surveyed the place.

"Woah, what in the world happened here?" Ein felt the ambient honkai and the beasts roaming around the city.

"A honkai eruption? At Nagazora? Is this perhaps because of MEI's little doppelganger?" Hua asked as she threw a sword of her blade mantra at an incoming emperor class honkai beast. Slicing it clean in two and all the ruined buildings as well, toppling over.

"Hua, you need to control your strength more. You'll probably kill MEI's doppelganger in a heartbeat if you so much flick a finger on her." Ein gave a wry smile and Hua nodded in understanding. As she remembered the times when she started as a little bird that was brutally kicked out of her nest.

"Hmmm, there's nobody for hundreds of kilometers here Ein-nii." Hua released a pulse of honkai energy and nobody was around the ruined city.

"Then let's go somewhere where there's familiar faces no?" Ein smirked and they teleported to the golden courtyard. (pic)

They quickly arrive and the sim that saw them 1st. Was Kevin. "You... A herrscher and a human? But that's impossible, someone is being tested right now. And they can only enter here one by one." Kevin was shocked, and he then recognized who was the herrscher.

"Hi! So you're Kevin's sim huh? I haven't seen one of the simulations here in the golden courtyard before! But it's such a shame, you are weaksauce." Hua greeted and insulted unconsciously at the same time.

"W-what?" Kevin got confused and the sim of Elysia appeared. "Hi~ I'm Elysia, woah. Hua... You became a herrscher?" Elysia didn't expect that and thought she would be the last to become one after Kevin and Su.

"Ahhh, I'm not exactly Hua per se. I'm the herrscher that got born in her and I received all her memories. So in a way, I am her. And her daughter too?" Hua tilted her head and Kevin's icy gaze faltered. Almost losing consciousness from the information he just received.

"Ohhh! Are you in humanity's side then? You are with a human after all, hello Mr. human! Can I know your name?" Elysia leaned onto him with her everpresent smile on her face.

"I'm Einheri, nice to meet you Elysia. Now hands up in the air! Nobody move!" Ein shot all the flame chasers present using finger guns, but they all couldn't move a single fiber of muscle.

Ein then poked Elysia's stomach and cheeks, giving a quality check. He then nodded in satisfaction and thought she was mostly the same. His Elysia was just a bit firmer and leaner.

"Uhhh, Ein? Why are you touching me there?" Elysia asked with a wry smile and Ein smiled at her. "I'm glad you asked, it's because you are my lover. Well, in a different universe I guess." He shrugged and every flamechaser present gasped.

"Ohhhh~ Can you give me proof then?" Elysia smirked at him and Ein looked at Hua. She then gave a thumbs up, showing their memories together in which Ein and Elysia were having some wrestling.

Elysia immediately went into a trance as Hua was leagues stronger than her right now. "Is that true? Woah, can I try that?" Elysia gave a beaming smile and everybody froze, even Hua.

"Well, that's fine. But how about dinner first? I'm not an easy man you know?" He winked at her and Elysia instantly liked him better.

And while everyone was gobsmacked. Mei that was just finished with her run in the Elysian Realm arrived. Wanting to know more about the secrets of the flame chasers. But she saw a familiar face that was definitely not the same and a tall man.

"Uhhh, Raven. Do you perhaps know those two? Have they appeared here before?" Mei asked Raven and Natasha shook her head. Just as surprised as she was.

"Hiii~ Mei-chan, did you miss me~ This here is Einheri. And you won't believe me, but that over there is Hua in the flesh you know?" Elysia dropped a bomb on her and Mei looked like she was struck by lightning.

"C-class monitor? N-no way. You became a herrscher?" Mei noticed her herrscher core and was both confused and hopeful that she'll have an ally to take the huge burden off of Kiana.

"And he is my new boyfriend, te he~" Elysia gave a peace sign and Ein a thumbs up at her. "Okay, who is he then? A scientist from the previous era or something?" Mei ignored her and Elysia pouted at Mei.

"Ahem, let me introduce myself. I am not only Elysia's boyfriend, I am also Mobius', Eden's Vill-v's, Pardofelis', and SAKURA's. Pretty good lineup no?" Ein dropped another bomb on them and he smiled. Some people just want to see the world burn.
