Brilliant Deal

Mika and her grandfather were more than halfway to dropping King Magzor home when she got the message from General Narbeth.

After reading it numerous times, she couldn't understand why King Thallan would send a group to the border. 

She responded back to Narbeth's message, with a wait and see. As she needed more information to go on. She didn't want to rush things that would put General Narbeth and his army in danger.

"What happened?" Commander Zo saw Mikaela's face make a scowl while she stared at her tablet.

"King Thallan is sending people to General Narbeth's fort to handle private matters." She showed her grandfather the message.

"You think he knows about us and the General teaming up?"

She shook her head, "I doubt it but it's not impossible. I don't want to make any moves before getting more information."

"...but General Narbeth is worried?"

"En...I think he thinks Thallan is going to get rid of him."
