Chapter-4 Tobirama: Evil Uchiha!

Jin Jiao and Gin Jiao led 18 elite shinobi from Kumogakure to the scene.

Upon noticing Tobirama was alone, Gin Jiao mocked him.

Gin Jiao: "So, Second Hokage, you're all alone? Where are your 'loyal' guards? Did they abandon you, their Hokage, to save themselves?"

Tobirama stared back, cold and silent, carefully noting the Amber Purifying Bottle strapped to Gin Jiao's back. This half-person-tall, orange Six Paths Ninja Tool had a fearsome sealing ability: anyone who responded after their name was called would be sealed inside.

During the recent peace talks, Gin Jiao had ambushed Second Raikage with the bottle, tricking him into responding and sealing him away, before cruelly ending his life. In terms of raw power, Second Raikage could overpower Gin Jiao and Jin Jiao in a fair fight. But deceived by the Six Paths Ninja Tools, Raikage had lost his life.

Tobirama knew all too well how dangerous these tools were. He had only escaped the peace talks with Sarutobi and the others by constantly deploying Shadow Clones and earth-based jutsu to hold off their attackers. Yet, even so, the heavy use of chakra was wearing him down fast.

Seeing Tobirama's silence, Jin Jiao realized he was wary of the Amber Purifying Bottle and wouldn't respond easily.

Jin Jiao scoffed, turning to Gin Jiao, "Stop teasing him. This guy's buying time by holding us here so the others can escape."

Gin Jiao laughed, "Hah! This is what a Hokage does? Risking his life for his underlings? What a joke! Without Senju Hashirama, Konoha is just a bunch of weaklings!"

Jin Jiao rolled his eyes. "Enough talk. I'll take on Tobirama. He's badly injured, so you go after the rest of Konoha's ninjas. They can't be allowed to report back."

"Relax," Gin Jiao sneered. "Let's kill the Second Hokage first, then we can go after the others."

After all, killing both Raikage and Hokage would be a feat to make them legends in the ninja world. Gin Jiao wouldn't miss this chance.

"Fine. We'll kill him together first!"

Without another word, Jin Jiao charged, brandishing the Banana Palm Fan and releasing a powerful attack at Tobirama.

"Fire Release: Scroll of Flames!"

A massive stream of fire swept forward, rushing toward Tobirama.

"Water Release: Water Barrier!"

Tobirama swiftly performed a seal and spat out a massive volume of water, forming a rotating, circular wall around him, blocking the flames from all directions.

Jin Jiao poured more chakra into his attack, intensifying the flames. But despite his infamous water jutsu prowess, Tobirama's chakra was nearly drained, and it showed. His Water Barrier started to weaken until the flames broke through, engulfing the area where Tobirama had stood.

But as the flames dissipated, Jin Jiao realized…

"No! Another Shadow Clone!"

Before they could react, Tobirama's true form appeared behind them.

"Water Release: Water Severing Wave!"

A high-pressure jet of water shot from Tobirama's mouth, slicing horizontally across the battlefield. Known for its immense destructive power, this technique could even cut through the roots of the Sacred Tree.

The elite Kumogakure shinobi scrambled to dodge. Jin Jiao leapt into the air, narrowly escaping the wave. Gin Jiao, wielding the Seven-Star Sword, barely managed to parry but was sent tumbling away. The rest weren't as fortunate; nine of Kumogakure's jōnin were severed in half by the attack, leaving nearly half of their forces dead or injured.

Tobirama observed in astonishment. Had he overestimated these Kumogakure elites? If he and Sarutobi's team had stayed and fought, they might have turned the tide of the battle after all. But he also understood that he couldn't risk it.

He had no choice but to press on alone.

If he could defeat these Kumogakure shinobi himself, Konoha's future would be safe. Yet, he had to be wary of Jin Jiao and Gin Jiao's Six Paths Ninja Tools.

Detonating tags planted around Tobirama suddenly ignited, filling the battlefield with smoke and limiting the enemy's visibility.

"Flying Thunder God Technique – Activate!"

Drawing his katana, Tobirama moved rapidly among kunai he had thrown, becoming a blur on the battlefield. In mere moments, he appeared in several places, striking down seven more Kumogakure jōnin with ease.

His Flying Thunder God Technique was an earlier version, far less efficient than the one later perfected by Minato, the Fourth Hokage. While effective over short distances, transporting people over long distances consumed a great deal of chakra—something he couldn't afford now.

Seeing Tobirama's strength, Jin Jiao and Gin Jiao grew frantic.

These elites were their only allies, and if they all fell, there'd be no one left to support their ambitions back in Kumogakure.

Gin Jiao released another brutal attack with the Banana Palm Fan.

"Wind Release: Wings of Wind!"

"Lightning Release: Arc of Thunder!"

A massive gust blew away the smoke, revealing Tobirama's position. Then, a lightning grid erupted, covering the entire area, sparing no one—including the remaining Kumogakure ninja.

Caught off guard, Tobirama was struck by the lightning, his body momentarily paralyzed.

Seeing his chance, Jin Jiao threw the Golden Rope, which grazed Tobirama's arm.

The Golden Rope was one of the Six Paths Ninja Tools—whoever it touched would involuntarily speak their most common word or phrase.

Tobirama cursed inwardly, then suddenly spat out a translucent string of text, his Word Spirit.

Gin Jiao, relying on his Six Paths lineage and strong physique, recovered from the paralysis first and flung the Seven-Star Sword at the spirit, slicing it in two.

"Ha!" Gin Jiao laughed. "Senju Tobirama, you're finished now!"

"Seal it!"

Gin Jiao activated another Six Paths ninja tool, the Red Gourd, which absorbed the severed spirit. At the same time, Tobirama's mantra etched itself into the Seven-Star Sword stuck in the ground: 'Uchiha.'

"???"

Gin Jiao examined the Seven-Star Sword with a puzzled expression.

"Strange. You're the Second Hokage, the brother of Senju Hashirama, and yet your most common phrase isn't 'big brother' but…'Uchiha'?"

"How much do you love Uchiha?"

Tobirama's face darkened, feeling a humiliation unlike anything he'd ever experienced.
