Xiao questioned as he heard the notification filling his head but he wasn't able to focus on the sound for long as the cracking sound of the doors opening was heard, the roars of countless beasts filling the humongous hall, adding to it, the husky voice of the illusionary figure was heard,

As its words were heard the figure disappeared as the duo was forced to gaze at the door that has completely opened up, the first beast that stepped forth was a two-headed wolf about 2 meters tall, its hungry eyes focusing on the two of them as a double howl left the beasts mouth, its crimson eyes lighting up, while its blur fur standing tall,

'An Earth Core Realm beast?'

Xiao's eyes narrowed as his hold on swords tightened just as he was about to burst forth, a small void crack appeared below one of the heads of the beast, an arrow moving faster than the head can react as it drilled from below appearing out as it disappeared to another void crack that appeared above the head.

The other head wasn't even given time to process the death of its companion before the same void crack appeared above the second head, the same arrow bursting forth with higher momentum as it drilled the head of the beast from above, turning its brain to mush.

Meanwhile, Xiao could only watch with blinking eyes, as the body of the beast flopped down after its death, in just a second its life was done, and he looked back at Li Lun who was holding her bow, seeing him look at her, she puffed out as her chest as she spoke,

"Don't worry! I will protect you!"

"Tha-Thanks..."

That was all that came out of Xiao as he looked at the killed beast, one of terrifying power, just died like that,

'Looks like her rating for High Tier supreme isn't for show'

Xiao appeared right above the blind spot of the beast as his swords flashed faster than the beast could react and just before its heads hit the ground Xiao was back in his position, he looked at the other beast that was already killed by Li Lun,

"Good work"

His words to Li Lun made her squeal as her face lit up with a goofy smile, Li Lun was more motivated than ever to kill all the beasts, who not knowing their doom rushed forth, this time three similar beasts appeared again, this time Xiao being too lazy to move used his Worldly control as he heightened the power with his soul energy.

Worldly control Tier 1: Spikey Rockewo of the beasts were drilled from the bottom as they soon became filled with holes, the power of any worldly control depended on the cultivation of the world spirit master, Xiao was inherently more powerful than the beasts that appeared, plus adding in his soul's energy to maximize the attack was just overkill.

Xiao waited for the next wave but none followed, the same illusionary figure once again appeared above the duo its words being heard,

No choice was given to the two of them before which the roar of several beasts was heard, gazing at the door Xiao could feel the floor he was in tremble from the wave that was about to hit them, seeing this Xiao turned towards Li Lun,

His words made Li Lun smile as her expression turned serious and just as Xiao had finished speaking, several different beasts burst forth from the door, all of them of Heaven Core Realm, seeing this Xiao's swords lit up with Perefone as he waved his sword forward, a huge flame wave spreading forward as it burned the beast that came forth.

The ones that tried to put up a shield weren't able to do so as an arrow arrived at that precise time from a void crack, plunging into them, either killing them or taking away their focus as the black wave of flames burned them to ashes,

'She has good battle sense'

As a former commander of battle, Xiao inwardly nodded his head at Li Lun's small actions that completely changes the battle's atmosphere but Xiao didn't lose himself to his thoughts as beasts kept pouring out, all of them hungry and berserk.

13 Rings Of Fire!

Xiao waved his sword in circles as 13 black flame-like rings started to rotate above him, he waved his hand forth as they spun to the top of the door, each of them spinning about, as a new wave began one of the spinning rings fell, turning the first attackers to crips while inflicting damage to the rest that caught behind.

Then the injured survivors were quickly taken care of by Li Lun as her arrows plunged into them, thus a routine of death kept repeating itself, common energy forming between Xiao and Li Lun, though Xiao didn't go overboard as he gave Li Lun more chances to shine, at times he would give some advice to her, improving her battle powers further.

The beasts that kept coming forward were just experiences for Li Lun to grow, while all this happened Teresa watched it all of it with a smile on her face, she rubbed her hand like a shady merchant, as an amusing smile graced her face,

'Hehehe.....let the true battle begin'

Heavenly Opposers

"Is that all?"

Li Lun asked, all around them lay the dead body of beasts, the dead bodies disappearing from the hall after they were killed, not even their blood was left behind, it was thanks to this function that they hadn't been overwhelmed, else the room would have long since lost any space for the two of them,

Suddenly the very same voice that gave them the challenge appeared, the body still blurry as it floated above the ground, the duo's attention moved towards the figure,

As it finished speaking a white light surrounded the two of them vanishing them from where they stood, Xiao after a long time felt extreme spatial turbulence around him, his mind turned hazy, and he felt his body grow heavy, and for a certain period of time he couldn't even feel any Qi around him, this lasted for a minute after which his body hit solid ground,

'Uff...that wasn't pleasant at all'

Xiao thought as he felt the solid ground below him, his body feeling a bit weak, while his mind took some time adjusting to the quick change in the atmosphere,

Suddenly Li Lun worried voice was heard as he felt a body support him, his head being placed on a small soft place as his eyes now met Li Lun's beautiful amethyst ones,

"Don't you feel tired?'

Xiao asked, making Li Lun confused as she tilted her head,

She replied,

Xiao cursed out but he didn't say anything else as relaxed himself on the lap pillow he was receiving, it was then that Xiao noticed something,

'Um?....the energy here is extremely pure'

Xiao felt it, this wasn't just Qi he was feeling but everything, the energy source around him was a mixture of several energies brought to almost purity,

'But it's weaker...'

Though everything was purely mixed, the power of the energy he was feeling was weak, even death Qi was in it, it was as if this energy was a resource made for everybody, such that anybody that comes here won't be left out, it was only the matter of one breaking up the required Qi from the bundle but such thing could only be accomplished by certified geniuses,

Xiao questioned himself as his eyes moved around, looking up all he could see was a dull black ceiling, even the ground was black, and the room they were in wasn't even big, and all he could tell was that they were trapped here,

Xiao asked with an annoyed tone as his eyes traveled back to Li Lun who was poking his cheeks, looking into her eyes, he couldn't help but be lost within them for a moment, they seemed to be little gems shinning about,

Li Lun complained like a pouty wife as she puffed up her cheeks, with her current looks it was more than enough to melt the hearts of monsters, her grey hair complimenting her beauty in an unseen way,

'Sigh...looks like a lot of problems will be lining up in front of me'

Xiao thought as he became lost in her beauty for a moment,

Xiao complimented making Li Lun blush bright, her hands playing with Xiao's hair, enjoying its soft feel, while she marveled at how beautiful Xiao's hair looked, he smiled as he enjoyed her small touch of his hair, while his body relaxed but that didn't last for long,

<Xiao, are you okay?>

Suddenly Yurou's voice sounded in his head, causing for his comfortable smile to freeze and Li Lun whose eyes always focused on Xiao after regaining its light easily caught the stiffening of his smile,

"Is something wrong?"

She asked to which Xiao shook his head,

<Xiao, are you okay?>

Once again suddenly Yurou's words were heard so he responded as he waved his hand to Li Lun to indicate that he was okay,

<Yeah, I am here, I am okay though....>

Yurou replied with obvious relief,

<Yeah, I was in an enlightenment hence you couldn't get to me>

He spoke,

Yurou replied with happiness, while Xiao tried to hide his true feelings under the boundless love he was sending her, with her connection she might be able to make out if something was wrong,

<Hehehe....Xiao stop it!.....>

A shy reply came back as Yurou felt the feelings of love and happiness being sent to her,

'Damn, I feel like a cheating husband'

Xiao thought in his mind, here in reality, close to him a stunning girl with a loving smile was taking care of him, while he was chatting lovingly with another girl, if the two of them were to know what was happening, Xiao couldn't imagine the consequences.

She asked.

Xiao replied.

Yurou asked with a low voice to which Xiao replied with a loving tone.

Yurou's sweet melted voice was heard as she listened to his words along with his feelings, hearing so Xiao started to thank his teacher with all his heart, the teachings which he thought worthless were now really starting to be useful in his life, somehow Xiao could already see his master giving him a thumbs up.

Saying so the connection within Xiao's mind was canceled,

"Are you okay?"

Just as the voice was heard a blue light scanned Li Lun, thus giving out information, after her, the light scanned Xiao yet unlike Li Lun the results didn't arrive as fast as hers, the word of scanning kept being repeated again and again,

'What's going on?'

Luckily All-Seer got rid of his doubts as it answered,

All-Seer wasn't even able to finish its boastful words before which a powerful blue light now surrounded Xiao, rounding around him as a sphere, its drilling power fighting against All-Seers protection, preserving it from all sides.

[You want a fight bitch? then you got it!]

All-Seer was royally pissed as a dangerous sizzling sound started to be heard from inside Xiao's soul, a similar light to the one scanning Xiao started to break out from All-Seer but this light was far more advanced and dangerous.

Soon a clash of pride amongst certain devices started to begin around Xiao, the owner of the first blue light, the one trying to scan Xiao seemed to be riled up as the clashing upon him was increasing at a humongous pace, right now Xiao looked like a disco ball as the light was flashing upon from his body.

It also didn't help with the fact that Li Lun was looking at Xiao with shining eyes, almost as if to savor the moment,

[Nah bitch you ain't getting in here!]

'Can you win?'

Xiao asked, getting tired of these shenanigans.

[Yes]

All-Seer replied as it focused back on fighting back, even with the power being borrowed All-Seer truly was on another level, without it giving an order, no device shall go against it to peer into Xiao's secrets.

The clash between the two got higher and higher before All-Seers light finally pushed the other device back, restricting any entry into Xiao.

Finally, a silence remained within the room, the device seemed to have given up.

[Humph! that's all it is....]

All-Seer replied proudly, sadly that didn't last for long,

"Detecting supreme resistance....."

"Main consciousness now taking control...."

"Highest level power shall now be sipped out..."

Just as the last words were heard the room now started shaking much higher than before, looking up Xiao saw two red eyes opening up, a blood-red light now starting to surround the room before moving towards Xiao,

'Can you stop that?'

He asked,

'All-Seer?'

[System shutting down...]

'Fuck! don't run away! where is your pride?!'

[I have no pride!]

'Why are you proud of that?!'

[The power now that's about to be unleashed will be humongous]

All-Seer finally leaving the playful attitude spoke, making Xiao ponder, his eyes looking high above him as those red emotionless eyes looked down at him,

'What are the chances that it will be able to break in?'

He asked.

[If I give it all, it wouldn't be able to do shit but as you have seen this things ego looks to be hurt, it won't stop coming after your secrets]

Hearing All-Seers reply Austin stood in silence, the red light around him getting redder and inching close to him by the second, finally, Xiao's eyes started to sparkle as he asked.

'What about letting it in and never letting it out?'

[That! might actually work...]

All-Seer turned silent as it thought over Xiao's suggestion,

'If we do this won't we get total access to whatever information this thing already has?...'

Xiao was tempted as his face inched into a very very evil smile, his words making All-Seer silent at the prospects of information making its inner obsession take place, for Xiao, it was the prospect of maybe knowing several information about previous people that visited before and maybe getting control over this place while All-Seer was tempted by knowledge.

Meanwhile, Li Lun saw the evil smile on Xiao's face that would send any person running away in fear, especially if it appeared on an 11-year-old but for Li Lun seeing it her eyes only started to sparkle,

'So cool...'

Li Lun was a lost cause.....

For the first time, both All-Seer and Xiao were in perfect sync and if All-Seer did have a face it would have definitely had the same greedy smile that Xiao was currently having. While the two plotted the downfall of the poor device that just wanted to do its job, the red light from the room finally reached Xiao.

It started to cover up his whole body while searching for his secrets to record and just like before All-Seer put up a barrier around Xiao preventing the red light from entering and scanning any secrets, a fierce battle began between the two of them, and Xiao who was caught up in between felt like his soul shudder.

But this time All-Seers power wasn't all strong as before, as the red light started to push the barrier that it has placed but All-Seer seemed to fight back with all its power, looking as if it awakened a supreme will the barrier light from it heightened higher as it started to fight against the invading light with greater power,

'Seriously?.....'

Xiao who knew that truth asked out with twitching lips, feeling as if he was watching a children's battle cartoon,

[This coming from the guy who summoned a whole army to look cool?]

All-Seer retorted with a light voice,

'Cough.....continue'

Knowing that he couldn't win this argument Xiao turned silent as he stood between the battlefield, on one side of his body was the extreme red light fighting on, while on the other side it was the blue light that All-Seer was using, the tough life and death battle went on for a few seconds before which All-Seer's light started to become weaker, it finally starting to lose its power,

"Weak....."

Suddenly the voice of the device was heard, this time its voice containing a hint of smugness?.

[Is this bitch looking down on me?]

'Calm down! remember the plan!'

Seeing that All-Seer was losing its calmness Xiao called out that if they fail now this device would be hundreds of times more vigilant when it comes back again, and then it will be impossible to deal with it.

[Hehehe...come in my little rabbit, the wolf is waiting~~]

All-Seer's voice suddenly became a little creepy as it was heard in Xiao's head, hearing so Xiao closed his eyes and prayed.

Soon the war between the two was over as All-Seer had lost, the red-colored light blasting forth into Xiao's soul after all the soul is the ultimate information hub of any being, all talents, power, and gifts are inscribed within one's soul and the red light ran towards the orb that was floating within his soul, the very orb being All-Seer.

The red light soon touched upon the orb and the moment it did, the red light wasn't even given any time to even react before which it was swept away from the central hub, in normal cases just its subconscious that was split up would deal with the newcomers but due to Xiao's special situation and due to its pride being hurt the main consciousness took control.

And right now it had touched upon All-Seer on doing so the main conciseness wasn't even able to react, as across power and inscriptions the main consciousness was removed from its central hub of protection, the next thing it knew, the two red eyes were now floating on utter darkness, for the first time since its creation it no longer having any control the situation.

The device was a supreme creation for information, its pride had long since exceeded anything, any other creation of ego had kneeled to it, nothing was capable of stopping it if it needed the information, its search and understanding were absolute, and all the other egos was nothing to it, over the millennium it had earned some emotions, pride, arrogance, and understanding.

But now floating in this darkness, being cut from all the power that it used to, it started to feel an emotion it had never felt before, the darkness around it was chilling, and it had finally felt the emotions that drive everything within the cosmos to move forward, it had started to feel....fear!

"You gaze upon something you shouldn't have"

The voice of All-Seer spread about but unlike with Xiao, its voice was utterly emotionless, nothing, no emotion was present, the darkness around started to tremble, seemingly rejoicing at the arrival of their king, and the 'sky' above the red eyes started to shake about before which two eyes formed above the red eyes.

The red eyes that were surrounded by the darkness and who thought that no higher darkness could exist than the one it was at now trembled, the eyes that appeared above it were black...

No, the eyes above were such darkness that even the darkness around it felt like the light.....

"Let me now teach you some humility"

All-Seer spoke and on doing so the darkness around started to move, it started to shake and shake as it started to take over the red eyes, and it allowed it, the main consciousness couldn't do anything before which it was covered up, being swallowed up whole, leaving just the darkening sinister eyes floating above,

"You aren't the only one who can flex....."

All-Seer replied with such amount of complex emotion that the previous emotionless words looked like an illusion.
