Mrs Johnson has been waiting for two days to get her hands on something to use against Emily, so each time her phone rings, she takes a quick look. She was anxious because no one in the women's group had helped her.
Even those that were her friends blamed her for her wrong calculation. She signed as she remembered her conversation with her best friend, Lucy.
"Why do you want to hurt her so much? It can not be like the rumoured going round that she is your husband's mistress," Lucy asked. She did not believe Emily would have something to do with Mr Johnson when she was close to Samuel Sky.
Mrs Johnson repeated what Isabella told her. Lucy shook her head, "this is just a fight between children; even if you want justice for your daughter, you should have calculated properly."
