Emily arrived at country Kay a few minutes after twelve the next day. It was afternoon, so the roads were free at this time.
Emily had booked to stay in Lakeview hotel, and the hotel was supposed to send a car to pick her up, but Samuel insisted on doing it.
Emily did not want to reject his kindness, so she accepted the offer. Emily could not come with Kevin because he was working on the government project proposal, so she came with one of her secretaries and the sales manager.
When Emily walked out of the airport, Samuel was the first to see her. He waved his hand to get her attention. Emily did not park much luggage, so she could easily pull it to the car.
"Welcome," Samuel felt very happy when he saw her. He knew he liked her but had yet to confirm his feelings for her.
"Thank you for picking me up," Emily said. Even if Samuel had made the offer, she still had to thank him.
