Eric received a call from his mother inviting him to dinner. At first, he did not want to go, but after thinking about it, he decided against it. He wanted to know what his father was up to, so he decided to attend.
"Son,"Maria was happy to see her son come home. To be honest, she was worried that he would not come. After all, it had been a few days since they heard he and Emily had broken up, but he did not return to the company as they had hoped. So Mr. Brown tried to reach out to him but Eric was not taking his calls. so, it would not be surprising if he did not show up.
"Mum," Eric smiled. He was no different from usual, but Maria could tell he was not in a good mood.
"Your father is in the study; there are still a few minutes before dinner," Maria said. she knew that her husband was looking for a walk to smoothen things with Eric.
