The news on TV was spread all over the city and the syndicates are boiling in anger at this atrocious person who dares to provoke their authority.

Ever since the fall of the government in the city and the rise of the syndicates, everything is like revolving in their hands. So how could they tolerate someone who is challenging their rule? How could they let a nameless individual step on their heads and challenge their authority?

However, what happened next dumbfounded everyone.

One of the groups working in one of the news agencies in the city suddenly suffered an accident when they were returning after filming the scene.

The commotion in that place has already alerted the Hunters and everything seems chaotic so they dare not stay in that place for fear of offending the syndicates.

Right at this moment, a person suddenly appears out of nowhere and stopped their car.

The female reporter immediately runs out of the car followed by the cameraman.

They quickly followed the person as he seems to be jumping from one house to another.

"This guy… is he also a Hunter or just a super-powered human?" she muttered as they followed that figure.

Although he is fast, he seems to be stopping every now and then so they are able to follow him secretly.

"Should we call the station?" the cameraman asked while panting.

"No… we should wait. This is an exclusive scoop. If we get this piece of news, then we would be able to put this in our resume… Hihi…" she said with excitement in her eyes.

The cameraman also smiled and knew that what she was saying is right.

"Alright, let's go then…" he said as the two followed behind the figure.

In a particular club in the city

A beautiful light brown-haired woman is sitting on a leather couch while sipping a glass of martini. A slight smile could be seen on her dainty lips while looking at a small table on the table.

Beside her stood two burly and powerful-looking men with heavy rifles on their side.

This beautiful young woman is wearing a dark brown leather tight skirt which exposes a lot of her thigh and on her shoulder is a dark brown leather vest. Yu Mantao may have been acting off-grid for a while now and has felt a bit guilty ever since she was involved in that murder incident more than a year ago, she is not that naïve to be caught off guard.

When she saw that video before and that face, she knew that he is going after them. He knew that Xin Wei will be coming for her someday.

And she swears that she would not fall without a fight.

A few hours ago, when she heard the news, she immediately called her team of bodyguards and left her home. She went to the safest place she knew, her secret club.

And right now, in this place, she is monitoring what is happening inside her house.

From the monitor, she saw a figure walking inside from the balcony. The movement of that person was too fast and he easily opens the window on the balcony. She then saw him looking around the dark house as if he could see in the darkness.

She was observing his action and then tried to deduce what kinds of powers Xin Wei has. While doing this, her eyes are filled with envy and jealousy. She wanted to have a power of her own. But she knew that it could not be forced.

She could apply to be a Hunter, but she also knew that being a Hunter would mean that she would be serving Yu Bai for all of her life. But she did not want that. She wanted her own freedom; she did not want to serve anyone.

That's why she made a deal with Lin Ting who seems to also have the same goal as her.

But it seems that Lin Ting is already unable to fulfill that deal as he is already… dead.

When the figure of Xin Wei stopped and began watching a particular wall, she showed a hint of worry in her eyes.

Suddenly, she saw the camera inside that place blacking out.

She did not know why but she is having a bad feeling about what just happened.

"I want to stay in the safe room. Everyone be alert… Look out for this man. He is our enemy…" she commanded as she suddenly stands up and then gets the dark brown Liuyedao sword lying on the table.

She then walks to the secret underground room after passing through the kitchen.

The secret passage is only known to a few people in the club and Yu Mantao feels safe after entering the room.

She sits comfortably on the sofa and then continues to monitor the screen in her house.

I have been looking inside this house for a while and have finally found a clue to where Yu Mantao might be. While looking at the pictures on the wall, I noticed that there is a place that seems inconspicuous at first, but after looking at it, I noticed that the place in the background which is a bar seems familiar to me, especially that name.

While staying with Qing Lao and the rest, I overheard them saying about a bar which their boss frequent but they are unable to enter. The name of that bar is actually the same as the one in the picture, the Hidden Moon bar.

I did not think about it at that time, but it seems that the effect of having 15 points of intelligence made me able to remember a lot of things.

As I look around, I noticed that there are cameras all over this place and decided to break the one that's in this room.

After breaking that camera, I quickly jump out of the window and left the house.

Not long after I left, I soon heard the wailing sound of the police siren and noticed them entering near the premises of Yu Mantao's condominium. I wanted those two news reporters to follow me so that they could show the news what I am going to do to her, but it seems that I need to leave them now.

As I jump from one building to another, I soon found myself arriving in a busy street. There are many bystanders everywhere and it seems that there are also people hiding in the darkness.

I could tell that these people are not ordinary bystanders while they mingle with the crowd. I could smell traces of gun powder and blood on them.

"Hunters…" I muttered to myself as I crept through the darkness while trying to avoid those watchful eyes everywhere.

As I try to look for a way into the bar, I noticed that it seems like a small fortress. The windows are barred and the two doors that I have seen so far are made of metal.

It really looks like a small fortress. But what baffled me the most is the usual traffic in this place. There are many young people entering the place dressed like punks and are in the groove to dance and party.

The loud music inside could also be heard outside and with my sharp hearing, I feel a bit uncomfortable with the booming sound.

"It seems that the only way inside is through the front door." I thought as I could not figure out a way to enter.

While thinking up to this point, I did not want to hesitate anymore. Since I have already exposed myself to my enemies, there is no use in hiding anymore. And since she seems to be already aware of my presence, why not just walk inside and expose myself.

I suddenly saw in an alley a group of men trying to assault a young woman who tried to fight against them. But it seems that these people are stronger than her so she is powerless against them.

A slight smile appears on my face upon seeing this scene.

One of the men suddenly grabs the young woman's hair and jerked her upwards exposing her face in the light.

She is not that beautiful and her face is full of thick makeup. I did not want to help as I could smell the thick smell of drugs on her body along with the three men around her. I knew that this trouble is because of the narcotic substance that the woman is hiding.

One of the men suddenly made a move and tore her clothes exposing a lot of her snow-white skin and her bulging chest underneath her black pushup bra. This scene immediately made the three men's gaze turned lecherous.
