Growing up fending for yourself isn't something normal for Shan's family.

Since her parents died she's been living here and there with relatives.

She was acknowledged as one but she's been treated differently. She wakes up before anyone does in the morning to do the chores and prepare for everyone's food, luckily including her. And she's been good at it. And after a year or two, another relative would come and she would be passed on like a doll. It went on and on until the time came she's able to fed for herself without relying on her relatives so called generosity.

She worked part time on a restaurant while finishing her studies. Her goal is to be secure a job for her future and that's all...for the next following years.. or so she thought.

She's graduating with honors today but with no one to celebrate it with her. She made some friends but none of them really get into her life and she preferred it that way.
