This was his fake appearance being that he was using a disguise so he was ageing quickly. His real appearance was that of an old man with wrinkles all over. He has to take portions to stay alive. Background Story: He is the son of a man who was killed by ML's father as the man was a threat to him but then Griffin hasn't gotten so powerful so they were all defeated but he swore upon his father's death that he would come back to exact revenge on ML for what he had done. He set his goal and got into the vampire Kingdom in disguise and even gained Jayson's trust.
