Synopsis

Honestly just here because felt like writing, and though it would be fun. Premise is that me and a few friends played DND based on Black Clover, this fanfic will be a translated story of what happens on the sessions, with a few changes to better be placed in the setting, like taking out a few instances which otherwise would not make sense in Black Clovers (Listen, arson seemed like a good idea at the time!) All of the starts were randomized, be it Magic, Class, Stats, Backstory, and points (Out of 100) on how deep your backstory interacts with Cannon. While all players were Main characters, this story will follow my Character, Jason Selphis, perspective and his adventures on Black Clover while sometimes going into other POVs. This was heavily based on a DND session, so expect ridiculous, epic, funny, weird, and UN-expected shenanigans to arise. /Users be advised; there are some sad parts!/ OCs and Story Plot are from the DM, but all the rest comes from the hands of Yuki Tabata Without delay, please enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chapter 1Prologue - Welcome Player

Books.

His earliest memories were not from family, nor were they from a traumatic event, they were simply always filled to the brim with books.

A large library, so big it could compare itself with a castle, and on each part of it sat a different book from the one before it, with a different tale to tell.

Some recounted tales about great heroes of old, their adventures, their challenges, their determination, and of their downfalls.

All kinds of heroes were recorded. Those who pulled swords from stones and became kings, creating prosperous countries where all were treated equally and fair under their reign. Other books spoke of those who serviced the gods and followed their whims, slicing their blades toward the foes of their precious gods.

Books about Kingdoms, fair kingdoms which tolerated no evil, Kingdoms which were so unjust the entire population rebelled, dark Kingdoms that marked their reign into the course of history, and bright ones that were all but forgotten by everyone.

There were documents about science, laws that reign over the fabric of reality in which all living beings exist. The scientific marvels and discoveries recorded in these hundreds of books would both fascinate and horrify the ones reading. Scientific innovations give way to better communication, hygiene, and standards of living, but at the same time to better weapons, nightmares, and technology that should not be used.

It's an impossibility, there is no feasible way that anything like that was possible, no way that legends like those existed in the first place, that such knowledge could be real at all.

Except they were.

Legends that should not exist, kingdoms that were never real, facts that seemed to breathe and prevail in a completely different dimension, multiple different ones in fact.

He doesn't know for how long he stayed there, within the hundreds of tall shelves loaded with writings, reading every single piece of literature he could seize his hands on.

Never feeling hunger, never feeling tired. A state of half numbness, only matched by the sheer boredom that lead to the investigation of thousands of different universes held inside these books.

There seemed to be nothing that was not written in the pages of the countless books that filled his memories.

He doesn't know how much time had passed, it's not like he could see the sun or moon from where he was, however, that is perhaps something that is better off not knowing.

That place which felt like an ethereal prison, filled with innumerable tales, was finally broken.

He had no idea what changed, no idea of what led to the destruction of the spell which made this place his personal prison-like hell.

Not looking back for even a second, slamming the doors which never budged open, he ran like never before, he ran until his heart was beating heavily on his chest until his lungs felt like they could not hold air anymore until his legs were aching so much he felt like crumpling in a heap of pain and just lying there.

But he didn't stop.

Through the maze that was the forest, huge trees letting the rays of moonlight stab through cracks, the cold air whipping by his face letting his golden hair fly free, he kept on running.

He was finally free, unrestricted to see this beautiful world he only saw through letters, free to walk side by side with the many races the legends spoke about,

He was free to write his own book.

The Tales of Jason Selphis.

Alright, that's a wrap for the Prologue, this is basically the main focal point of my Character's Backstory. Turns out that when you roll a Nat 20 for a stat, our DM lets us have some liberties on how the character acquired said stat. I decided to implement it through my Character's backstory, thus the thousands of books = Int 20.

I left a lot of things ambiguously and open in the air for people to make their own assumptions, mostly because it will keep on being referenced throughout the book, filling the pieces necessary for you guys to understand what really happened.

Thank you for reading, see ya all!

Reincarnated To Evolve My Bee Empire

"Now, go forth, my mortal champion! Conquer this world—or else!" I lived a painfully average life and died by a stupid, stupid accident, but a goddess interfered, giving me a second chance in another world. There, I became royalty—the lazy kind with almost no obligations, free to live in peace and luxury for the rest of my days. Sounds like a dream, right? In reality, it was anything but—because I became *BEE* royalty. A Drone Bee, doomed to die of old age in 2 months! (A humanoid bee, thankfully, but still a bee in all the ways that matter.) The only way to increase my lifespan is to develop and grow my bee colony—a deadly task in a vicious world like this one. There are murderous insect monsters, colossal beasts trampling the earth, other civilizations, natural disasters, and the bitchy patron goddess who absolutely hates me. But as long as I have my brains, my bees, and the powerful genes my system gives me, my Bee Empire will be unstoppable! === For those who want to know more: This is a wholesome comedic story, but it has some dark moments. The focus is on kingdom building, survival as an empire, and interacting with MC’s beautiful bee wife and adorable bee daughters. The bees are all humanoid (see pictures) and human-sized. However, they are still bees in their ways of life and mentality. Although there’s a system, real growth comes from putting effort and time. Nothing happens in an instant in this story, unless it’s trouble. MC acts like an idiot sometimes (oftentimes), but he’s not actually stupid-stupid. When it comes to strategic decisions, he uses logic and reason. Even if you might disagree with it. Also, there will be no smut (ecchi is a fair game), incest, NTR, harem or BL. === Discord is up! Find it at -> https://linktr.ee/Garessta Updates: 2 chapters/day, right after the reset (with a 5% chance of running late). Reply to author's pinned review if you have questions. And I BET that you CAN'T push this novel to top 15 golden ticket rating. If I lose this bet, I will mass release 10 extra chapters! (within 30 calendar days)

Earth's Greatest Magus

#Top 20 Webnovel Best Sellers 2021, 2022, 2023, and in 2024 #### History is said to be written by the victors. If so, how about Earth's history? Two millennia ago, a young boy named Emery met a tragic fate. In his final moments, he was transmigrated and accepted into the Universe's most prestigious school of magic. “You are among the chosen few from thousands of human worlds. Whether you seize this opportunity or not, is up to you. You are at Magus Academy, the pinnacle of humanity's ingenuity. Magic, science, and might are all within reach for those who dare to pursue them." [Scan complete - Quadruple affinity. Water, Earth, Plant, and Darkness.] "A quadruple acolyte! Only one in tens of thousands of acolytes possess this!" Thus began Emery’s journey together with his 4 friends from the furthest corner of Earth. Each year they returned to Earth to grow, seek revenge, save the princess, conquer the world, and become Earth's Greatest Magus. Their names are still etched in our history books to this day. Authors Note: I have always been fascinated by writing fantasy relating to historical facts. In this story, you will find characters inspired by real-world myth and legend. The universe I created hopefully will make the reader's imagination excited and logically plausible. I hope you enjoy it. ### Here are some key aspects you'll encounter: MC: The protagonist follows the classic weak-to-strong arc. World: Picture a blend of Harry Potter and Star Wars. System: While it's primarily a magic-based story, there's a structured system in place that's easy to follow. Additionally, elements of cultivation. Harem: No, there are several female interests. But I enjoy romance first. So even if there will be more than one love interest it will be deep. Note: English is not my first language, but you'll notice that my writing and English skills gradually improve throughout the chapters. Other: The novel delves into deep research on science and history, enriching the storyline with factual and intriguing details. Give it a read—you might be pleasantly surprised by what unfolds.
