GOLDEN RAILROAD

"For many people, Traveling the world was just a joke told between friends.

For some, it's just a sweet dreams to run away from the bitter reality.

But for those who did it, It was a constant roller coaster ride of feeling that cannot be described by words."

"So , Which one are you, Albert?" Little Cardis asking curiously, Looking to Albert's old eyes. He sit on Albert's lap comfortably.

"ho ho ho, This old bone has seen a good portion of this world, you know. Not many of my companions managed to live and tell their tale." Albert reached one of his books from the bookshelves. His long hand is covered by his signature purple coat.

"Tell me then! what's your adventure is like?"

"Hmmm, there is so much to tell, i think i'm gonna die first before telling you all of them. I think my favorite is the first time i got to Cardella." Albert opened his book and put it on Cardis's lap.

"Okay, tell me that one." Cardis can't stop smiling. His little purple eyes is now looking at the inside of the book. The books contains some drawings. A lot were about desert, some were about an armed men, and then Cardella's castle.

"Ahh, It was like yesterday. The sun was still rising at the time. Me and my companions were still worn out from the harsh week stranded on the desert. We were short of water, so we decided to stop by an oasis that we found a few miles from Cardella." Albert started to brush his beard. Cardis was listening so serious that he didn't blink.

"Hey, blink." Albus tapped his head.

"Where was i? oh, right. When we arrived on the oasis, we were suddenly got ambushed by a group of snakeman bandit."

"Snakeman bandit?"

"Yeah! and we slaughter them all with ease! We maybe tired, but dealing with them was like removing pebbles from the street. Their fresh smell of reptile blood is all we can smell that morning, it was hillarious! ha ha ha!"

Cardis just looked into Albert's eye with dead expression.

"I was hoping an exciting story, not a gruesome one."

"But it was hillarious! Your father's face when he bathed in snakeman's blo-"

The door sudenly got kicked.

"What the hell are you telling him, Albert!?" A woman as old as Albert appeared behind the broken wall. She put on a scary angry face.

"Oh come on, Marthilla! We were just getting to the good part!"

"No were not." Cardis looked at Marthilla, still with dead expression.

"Shouldn't you be preparing for the ceremony, idiot!? why are you telling horrible stories to the prince !?" Marthilla screamed.

"Oh, Is it time already?" Albert say it in a light heart tone

"Well then, Prince Cardis." He put down little Cardis from his lap.

"Let's go to the opening ceremony. I will be busy afterwards so i will give you this book. You can see the pictures here." Albert smiled.

"Yeah, nope." Cardis isn't interested in that story anymore.

"Aww, that's too bad. Then i will give you a catalog of animals in the North instead."

"You will? really?" Cardis's dead face finally got replaced by a huge smile.

"Hurry up you two. Don't make me come there." Marthilla is still angry.

"Yeah, yeah, were going you crazy witch. Let's go, prince."

"Okay!"
