Gloxinia in Douluo Dalu

"Kids wake up! It's almost time to awaken your martial soul and see if you have the potential to be a soul master!"

Groggily sitting up, Yuo Chen looks around with confused eyes, wondering if his ears heard correctly.

"Martial soul? Soul master? aren't these things from a novel? Is someone pranking me?"

Quietly questioning the unexplainable things he heard, he rubs his eyes and prepares to stand up.

Unfortunately, when he attempted to stand up, a sudden flow of information suddenly started going into his head continuously and he fell backwards back onto his bed.

After a few minutes, Yuo Chen was able to figure out what the information was. It was 6 years worth of the memories of a child named Gloxinia, no surname yet as he is an orphan.

From the memories he "inherited", Yuo Chen was able to tell that he was no longer in the earth he knew, but was in a completely different planet, almost as if he had transmigated.

No, actually, its not almost as if he had transmigated, he HAD transmigated.

From the new memories in his head, he now knows that he transmigated into a primitive world that has just begun to enter a modern era, albeit the entrance to it was a bit sudden and not gradual at all.

This world, was called the Douluo Planet and he was in the border of the Sun-Moon Federation, Glorybound City. This city, albeit small, still had many of the things necessary for a human here, such as a awakening center and a soul master class. There was also a soul master school in a nearby city.

From all the information he gained, Yuo Chen can infer that he has transmigated into the world of the novel Douluo Dalu, and in the timeline of Tang Wulin, the Dragon King.

Lifting his hand up above his head, a small smile formed on Yuo Chen's face as he murmured, "Hehehe, since I've transmigated I'll definitely make the best of it! Watch out Tang Wulin, I don't care if you're the main character, I will become the best in this world!"

[bzzzt.. bzzt.. Activation Conditions, "Set a Goal" achieved. Activating System.]

Suddenly, a monotone voice sounded out in his head as a game-like notification showed up in front of it.

[Fairy King System Activated. Host can now access all tabs.]

Hearing the voice yet again, the small smile on Yuo Chen's face transformed into an excited one, as he knew that the legendary golden finger of all transmigators has arrived! Will he be able to obtain all those overpowered abilities from fiction back in his world?!

"System! What are your functions?"

[Answering Host - the Fairy King System has 3 main functions and 1 main mission.

Status - Status will allow you to see a tab that has all your attributes in number form, but you won't be able to add points to them or change them in any way unless you do it manually yourself. This tab will also hold all your current soul ring skills and self-made skills. Finally, it will show you all your equipment, money, and martial soul.

Fairy King's Forest - Fairy King's Forest is an independent world that has a rich environment that will greatly help soul power cultivation and plant growth. Also, this world has a Sacred Tree which can produce the water of the fountain of youth. Finally, in this world, as you complete missions set by the system, you can gradually form a Fairy Kingdom.

Mission Board - This is the system's main function. This will open a tab titled Missions that will show all your current "missions" that you need to do for certain rewards. All these missions are completely optional and will have no punishment for failure. The main rewards from the missions will go towards building a Fairy Nation.

Main Mission - To have the host build a nation filled with Fairies and to create a safe haven for them.]

Overwhelmed by the amount of information Yuo Chen just gained, he quickly goes over it and reads it carefully. Finally, after a few minutes of reading everything over he asks a question that he has always wanted to ask, even when reading novels and fan fictions.

"System, why were you given to me?"

[...Answering host - The Fairy God wanted the culture of the Fairy people to be spread and saw you admired the power of the Fairy King in an anime called "Seven Deadly Sins" and decided that you would spread the Fairy culture in this world using the power of that which you admired.]

"Huh... I see." Although a bit unsatisfied at the lack of choice he had in the matter, he quickly glossed over it as he simply couldn't change anything even if he tried his best to do so.

Deciding to move on, Yuo Chen goes to the next thing he was wondering about, how his status looked like. Thus, he simply said, "System, show me my Status."

Looking over his skills, he could guess that what the system said about having powers of what he admired was true. After all, in his past life he thought that Gloxinia's abilities and looks were incredible and amazingly cool.

Although he was surprised at the high vitality and high intelligence, the below average strength didn't really surprise him.

Yuo Chen, or better yet, Gloxinia, knew that Fairies had low strength but huge life span and high spiritual strength. He could also attribute the high intelligence to the transmigation and the fact he is an adult in a child's body.

As Gloxinia was pondering over his statistics, he heard the female voice from earlier yet again, this time though it sounded pretty mad.

"What are you doin up there that's taking so long? Hurry up or you won't get a martial soul!"

Standing up while cracking his thumb on instinct he responded, "Sorry, I'm coming!"

Authors Note: This is basically my first serious fan fic, I attempted to translate a few before but all the ones I translated already had translations here so I had to drop them. I also attempted a Donald Na in Lookism fan fiction but I ran out of ideas far too quickly.

Fortunately, Douluo Dalu or otherwise known as Soul Land, has a lot more content that I can use.

Finally, I will now start calling MC Gloxinia. And if you're wondering, yes he does look like Gloxinia and yes, he will be short like him. (unfortunately)
