Genshin Impact: The Goddess of Stars

"Knock, knock."

"Come in." Said the girl.

Inside the room white hospital room a girl at sight. Stella Evernigth, she has deep black hair that reaches her waist and is fiddling with her phone while sitting on her bed. Beautiful amethyst eyes and smooth, pale complexion would make any lady envious. Any man will fall in love at first sight with a lovely face.

Even though she has a beautiful face, she is too pale and slender to be deemed "healthy" despite having a beautiful face.

A doctor entered with a glum expression.

"We have determined what you have been dealing with, Miss Evernigth."

The doctor told Stella, "Based on the results of our investigation, it appears that you have a brain tumour that has been growing inside of you for more than 7 years."

"I see..."

"Please don't lose hope, miss Stella." Said the nurse that came with the doctor.

"Even though Miss Evernigth is having surgery and only has a 15% chance of the procedure being successful, there is still hope for her recovery."

"No, no, don't bother. Besides, I don't have the money to pay."

A difficult smile in her face.

"But Miss Stella---" the nurse tries to pursue her but has been interrupted by Stella.

"I understand your worry, but it's my decision, and I want to put an end to this agony I've been going through for the past ten years. After ten years of suffering and loneliness, I sometimes wish I was dead but lack the will to do it."

As she looked down, Stella firmly cupped both of her arms in her chest.

The hospital bed suddenly took on a gloomy mood.

Stella looked up at the side of the mirror, gazing in the setting sun with a tired eye's.

The doctor shook his head and showed a disappointment, "So that's your decision is firm as stone, then I can't do anything to chance your mind."

"Do not regret your choice, Miss Stella, I beg you."

"Undoubtedly, I won't regret it later."

Before the doctor left, he said, "Ah... I forgot to tell you something. "

"Miss Stella, you only have a half-year to live," the doctor stated.

"Oh, great. Thanks for telling me doctor."

"Okay, I'll be leaving now."

The doctor exits the room, closing the door after him. Stella gave a heavy sign while appearing depleted and worn out.

"So, I guess this six months is the end of my life chapter, huh?"

Stella relaxed in her bed and continued the game she was playing. playing her favourite game,'Genshin Impact' game with her favourite character, Mona

'I wish I have the power of stars or something similar, *sign*.A star that glitter the nigth sky with a mysterious old star-eaten blanket of the sky,

That I may fold it around me and in comfort lie.'

*Half a year later

The silver light illuminates the window of a certain hospital room as it shines beneath the silver moon and the millions of brilliant stars.

Young women who were bedridden at the bed were surrounded by a group of medical professionals.

Stella blinked open her eyes, scanning the area.

She continued haltingly, "Doc Liam, I believe I've reached my limit."

Taking care of Stella is the responsibility of Doctor Liam. Aside from keeping an eye on her for the past six months of her existence, he has also done so.

"Im aware," He said.

As Stella one last peek at the nigth starry sky, the quenchless stars, so eloquently bright, untroubled sentries of the shadow'y night, what a sight to behold

She slowly closed her eyes while grinning feebly, losing air till her heart stopped, leaving her with no trace of life as she left this mortal realm.

A star that once the brightest dimmed its ligth.

That's what they thought.
