Zhou Li was not just paying lip service - he genuinely believed that something was off with Zhao Yi.
If Zhao Yi simply said that he had solved the Goldbach Conjecture, it would have been acceptable to some degree. After all, Zhao Yi was a recognized genius in number theory, capable of creating three-dimensional tremor waves, and there was a possibility that he could devote ample time to solving the Goldbach Conjecture.
But when Zhao Yi mentioned a second method of proof, Zhou Li felt there was an issue.
That just didn't sound right.
It was the Goldbach Conjecture, a problem that had stumped the mathematical community for decades. After someone had completed one proof method, they were absurdly planning to research a second method of proof.
Was this a joke?
Basing his judgement on this, as well as the absolute certainty expressed by Qian Zhijin and others, Zhou Li also believed that something was wrong with Zhao Yi.
"He's gotten obsessed with his research!"
