Game of Thrones-The Black Lord

(Sequel To “For The Queen, Not The Prince”) It all started in Summerhall. Aegon The Unlikely’s attempt at resurrecting the Dragons was successful but at the cost of his life. The fire was able to be put out, not before it took Aegon V's life as well as his son, Ser Duncan The Tall, and a few rooms. Ever since then, the events that decide the fate of Westeros had vastly changed. Dragons had returned; it was said that during the night of the fire, a bright crimson comet was seen in the night sky. During the end of King Aerys’s reign, a Rebellion started. But it wasn’t started by Robert Baratheon due to Rhaegar’s actions. Robert instead fought for the Targaryens and was married to a Princess which resulted with them having a son, Rhaegon. Rhaegon Baratheon is the rider of Morghul, a massive Black Dragon that Hatched at the end of the Rebellion started by the River Dragon. He was not just named after the Dragon that was bound to Aegon III's first wife and cousin, Jaehera but because of Rhaegon's unique sense of humor as he inherited his mother's spirit. Departure

(Rhaegon's POV)

"You will explain yourself." I heard Lord Tywin's cold voice as I walked towards the gate of the Dragon pit

I stopped to see him, accompanied by several Lannister soldiers. He had a serious yet calm look on his face. His arms behind his back as he exuded authority, even before me.

"Hm." I said as I looked at him, "Explain what?"

It was a few hours after the incident in the Flea-Bottom streets, I had taken a bath in the Red Keep, and written a letter for the Queen and one for the Princess before deciding to leave the city.

"Your actions against Ser Clegane's men." He said, "You cut eight of them down in cold blood before attacking him."

"So?" I said

He took a step forward, "You may be Rhaegar's chosen..." He said, "But such reckless foolishness will not be tolerated. Not when this is a clear attack on my bannermen."

I placed my hand on the handle of my sword, "Best choose your bannermen wisely, then." I said, "The Realm would be better off without The Mountain. Nobody likes him but everyone fears the fucker."

"He's a direct subordinate of mine." He said with a serious look, "Am I to understand that your attacks mean something?"

"They do." I said taking a step forward, "They mean that I don't tolerate men like him. And if you're so willing to defend him, mayhaps I'll make you answer for his crimes. What say you, Lord Hand?"

I saw his men place their hands on their swords as Tywin gave me a stern look, "You do not want to do this." He said, "Come quietly so His Grace can give you judgment."

"Has His Grace summoned me?" I asked

"No-" He said

"Then fuck off, Lord Hand." I said, "Or are you willing to allow The Mountain to clearly defend those who throw insults at your granddaughter, The Princess."

"I assure you, he has no involvement with that." He said, "The perpetrator has been killed from what I heard. You will do well to-"

We were cut off by a loud roar, coming from the Dragonpit, followed by nervous yells by the keepers.

"Dohaeras, Morghul, Rybas!!!" I heard them helplessly shout

I glanced over to the guards at the gate, "Open it." I said

They nodded and began to do so.

"You'll do no such thing." Tywin said, "You are not going anywhere, Rhaegon. By order of-"

"Shut up." I spat, "His Grace didn't send for me. You're abusing your little high seat of power to get what you want. But tell me, Lord Hand, what is a Hand of The King when he is before The Black Lord?"

As I heard the gates fully open, I felt the tremors of a hasty dragon making its way towards me. I heard the snorting of Morghul as he let out a deep growl.

"Ser Rhaegon!" I heard a keeper shout, "He just ran out of the pit!"

I raised my hand, "It's fine." I said, "Morghul is calm."

Morghul lowered his head next to me, baring his fangs at Tywin who stood there with almost no reaction.

"Lykiri, Morghul, Lykiri....Dohaeras." I commanded the dragon

Morghul looked at me and ceased his deep growling, lowering himself to allow me to climb atop his saddle.

I looked at Tywin, "I am leaving." I said, "I have duties to attend to back home. His Grace summoned me to speak about something important, we have spoken. I have no need to stay here."

"I would like for you to remember that you will need allies at court." Tywin said seriously

I walked over to Morghul and began to climb to his saddle, "Is that so?" I said as my dragon slowly straightened up, "I do have allies at court, Tywin. You just don't know they are. And trust me when I say this, they hold more power than you, and I more than them. I mean, Lord Hand, do you have a dragon?"

*********************************************

"Ah, that is more like it...." I said as the fresh scent of rain clouds hit my nose, "Home....."

Morghul broke through some clouds, and Storm's End was seen in the distance. I had been in flight for a while, Morghul was happy to be in the skies as of late. I was glad as well, there was something about taking to the skies and feeling the wind hit my face as we were high in the skies.

Morghul roared as he shook his head, feeling excitement as we soared in the skies above our home.

I chuckled, "I know, buddy." I said as I patted his hide, "Let us go down."

Several minutes later, we flew over the Dragonpit, seeing a familiar azure Dragon perched on some rocks as two figures were seen in front of them.

"Hm?" I said, "Meylax is out? Is that...?"

"Parmot, Morghul"

As I commanded him, Morghul slowed his descent to the ground, letting out a greeting screech as Meylax reared her head up and vocalized in response.

I saw as Mother was holding Monica's hand, taking a step back as Morghul landed next to where Meylax perched on.

"Mother!" I said with a smile, "I did not expect you to come out to the pit."

I saw two keepers walked towards us, raising their staves at Morghul who was shaking his head excitedly.

"Umbas, Morghul...."

Morghul looked at Meylax who leaned forward and they both nudged each other.

As I climbed down, I saw Monica running towards me as Mother stood there with a smile on her face, "Brother!" She exclaimed

I chuckled, "Monica." I said as I jumped down from the rocks where Morghul was, "Hey there, come here."

She jumped into my arms as I caught her in a hug, "I missed you." She said

"I was gone a few days." I said with a smile as she pulled away, "I came here to fulfill my promise. Morghul is here as well."

She nodded with a bright smile, "Yes...."

I straightened up,

"Renis, Morghul."

Morghul looked down at me, seeing Monica and reached down, leaning his snout down as I extended my hand towards him.

I felt as my hand touched his scaly snout, feeling the warmth, "Here." I told Monica, "Reach outwards. The Black Lord won't bite."

Monica smiled and reached her hand and gently touched it, "Oh..." She giggled, "This is nice...."

Morghul calmly looked at her and let out a slight snort and pulled away, vocalizing loudly.

"Oh." Monica said softly

Morghul let out a deep rumble, looking at Monica as he shook his head.

"Heh." I said, "He likes you."

"As he should." I heard Mother say, "Morghul is nowhere near as gentle as my Meylax."

Meylax azure eyes were piercing through me, Mother's Dragon was always a sight to behold, representing Mother's beauty with her own.

"Meylax.....its good to see her outside." I said, "Has she laid a clutch yet?"

"One more." Mother said with a smile, "I wish to send an egg to Princess Myrcella should hers not hatch. There is nothing wrong with trying with more eggs."

I nodded, "Good idea."

Mother reached for Monica's hand, "Come dear. Let's get you bathed." She said, "Your brother has business to attend to."

"I do?" I asked

"Your Father has heard of the little.....incident in Flea-Bottom." She told me with a smile, "I approve of this action, Rhaegon. You should show no mercy to anyone who dares spit in your face, no matter who their lord is."

I nodded, "I know." I said seriously, "I should've finished the job."

"Congratulations on your new sword, too. Rhaegar sent me a raven about it." She said, "Does it have a name?"

I shook my head, "No..." I said,

"Not yet."
