Chapter 167: Are you doing this because you love me ?

" I am fine now. You can leave ! " She said.

He sighed giving her a deep look.

" The doctor said that you must rest. You can stay here and leave tomorrow. I will take you. "

' Why is he acting like he cares now ? ' Alyssa asked herself innery and looked away.

" Okay..." she answered and this calmed Calcel down.

He after went outside and made a call.

" Ms Jenny, I am likely not to return back. " He said.

" What happened ? Is she fine ? " Jenny was outside and it was getting dark.

" She Will be fine. Please let me father know that I am not coming back. "

",Okay..." Jenny ended the call.

She sat down on the sofa and her lips curved into a smile.

' Let me see for how long you will deny that you don't like me ? ' She thought.

Alyssa was given more pills that enabled her to sleep and have more rest.

Calcel stayed to watch over her. He looked at her relaxed face and remembered Alyssa's. She always looked beautiful whenever she was asleep.

He always wondered why she behaved like Alyssa even though they were two different people.

While Alyssa was asleep , She begun having her dreams again.

She always dreamt of being with a man she loved bit because of her memory loss she couldn't see his face clearly nor remember his face.

Her hands suddenly begun moving as if she was searching for something around.

"..My baby... baby..please stay..." She begun mumbling in her dream.

Calcel heard her and got confused then he saw her hands.

" ..My baby...Please...." She begged.

Calcel held her hand in his palm and said.

" I am here..."

" Please don't leave me..." She bagged and he held her stronger.

" I am not leaving. I am here..." He said and moved his other hand to her face where he caressed her cheeks.

She relaxed when she felt his touch and slept soundly again.

The following morning, Alyssa opened her eyes and realized that she was still on the sick bed.

Then she felt the warm body attached to her hands when she looked besides her and saw Calcel there. He had dozed off in the middle of the night and out his head on the sick bed just besides hers. His palm was still holding hers.

She looked at his handsome face and asked innery .

' Do you care about me this much ? Or you just sympathise with me ? '

After this she pulled her hand away from his and set to get up when he woke up .

He leaned back against the chair.

" Are you awake ? " He asked

" How are you feeling ? " He added before she could even answer the first question.

" I am fine.." She said still getting up and surprisingly Calcel moved his arm behind her back to support her to sit.

She stared at him again when she felt his arm on her back . she couldn't believe that he was caring like this. Its not that she was too ill.

Calcel found their eyes locked when he turned to face her.

She looked away immediately and tackled the strands of her hair back to the ear.

" Thank you.." she said.

" How are you feeling now ? " He asked looking at her.

" I am fine.." she answered.

Calcel got up . " Since you are now fine, Change into your clothes. I will go and settle the bills.Then I will drive you to your place. "

" I can get a taxi. Its not that i am very ill. It was just exhaustion.." She tried to argue but he didn't allow her.

" I said I will do everything.." He said without looking back at her and left the room.

Alyssa got off the bed and changes into her clothes. Then she realized that she had been brought here in Calculus slippers.

She remembered how he helped her to put them on and smiled.

She picked her things and then left the room to leave the hospital.

Calcel was done with paying the bills when he turned around to head back to the room he saw Alyssa coming and rushed to her.

" I told you to wait for me.." He looked angry as he held her hand.

" ..I am..sorry. I just wanted to move around before leaving. " She answered with perplexed.

Calcel looked down at her feet with concern.

" Are your legs fine ? " He questioned.

Alyssa was taken back by his care and concern. He looked at her face after this.

" I told you i am fine. " She answered.

Still holding her hand, Calcel led the way and pulled her out to walk with him out of the hospital.

When they reached his car he even opened the door for her. All these kept Alyssa staring at him in wonder.

" Get inside ! " He said to stop her from staring at him.

" Huh.." She entered and he went to enter from the other side.

" what's the address of your apartment ? " He asked as he started the car.

" Tazzam.." She answered and eyes gawked him again.

He started driving off but Alyssa's eyes remained fixed on him.

' Are you doing this because you love me ? '

She asked innery again but whenever she remembered what May and the maids said about him she got discouraged and drove the thought away.

At the Church Orphanage..

Gladys was checking for something on her phone when she saw the messages she had not been reading.

Her account balance had been increased. This had happened the previous week but she didn't mind about that.

' Someone has been sending me money. Who could that be ? ' She asked herself innery.

Calcel and Alyssa finally arrived at her apartment block and when he stopped the car, Alyssa opened the door to leave.

He also opened the door and came to her.

" Calcel, You have helped me enough. I can walk on from here. " She said.

" No, I will escort you to your room. " He insisted.

" Why are you doing all this for me ? " She finally asked with perplex.
