Geographical Boundaries

The following day

"Mia" Drake called out for the maid

"Yes, Lord" Mia quickly entered the room and replied to Drake's call while bowing

"Bring me some books from the 3rd shelf in the library," Drake said.

Mia bowed and left, after a while she brought 3 books and handed them to Drake who was on the bed sitting next to Nile.

Drake thanked Mia while picking up one of the book and started reading it to Nile.

"This story is about a dragon and his owner who ...…." Drake slowly and steadily read him the whole story.

'Whhhaaaattttttt…. Who wrote this idiotic story? If the Dragons come to know about this story, the Dragon King Balour would himself come and kill this writer. Dragons are one of the proudest species in this universe. I cannot even imagine Dragons accepting a human master. In the name of fiction how can someone write something so idiotic.'

The story was basically about a dragon and his abusive human master. The master continually abused the dragon for years but one day when the master was in a life-threatening situation the Dragon used sacrificing magic on itself and saved his masters' life. Seeing this the human regretted and his whole personality changed .Then he turned out to be a good human being who started helping everyone.

"So Nile how was the story"Drake asked in an excited tone.

"Maaaagiiccc, Drrragun" Nile replied

"HUhhhhhh, you can speak any word except father, not fair" Drake sighed.

"Maagicccccc"Nile almost shouted. 'Teach me about magic and energy system of this world old man' Nile thought to himself almost irritated.

"Okay, okay it seems like you are too smart for these stories. Wait let me get some books and then let us see if you will still act smart" Drake said as if he understood what Nile was thinking and quickly left.

A few minutes later Drake brought a book and started reading it to Nile. It was basically about the human body and the very basics of cultivation.

'Well, this book is not so informative and just brushes up the basics but anything better than the stupid Dragon story. I knew most of the part as it was basic but the terms were new to me like the body part used to help the circulation of energy is called liver here' Nile thought when the book came to an end. He was somewhat satisfied by gaining some knowledge.

Seeing the satisfied expression on Nile, Drake was puzzled. He was not expecting a 5-month-old to sit quietly and attentively through the whole book.

"Nile I don't know if you understood anything or not but even if you learned 1% that is more than enough." Drake said while looking at Nile who was smiling.

"Faaathhherrrrr, ENNNUUURRRGGGYYY" Nile said while emphasizing more on the latter word.

"Hahahaha, Son you are a genius who knows what you may achieve in the future," Drake said with a proud smile on his face.

From the start Nile has been giving his parents hints of him not being an average child. He just wanted to fasten his learning process. He was in a tricky situation in which if he hinted too much or showed them his full capabilities they would panic and might even call a doctor, Nile wanted to avoid doctors as he himself was unsure about his body and who knows if in case the doctor finds anything suspicious, his life would be in danger and he was not strong enough to protect himself. If he acted like an average child, his progress would have slowed down, and he wanted to avoid wasting time.

Time passed by, days turned into weeks and weeks into months. Three months passed in a blink of an eye. Drake would spend 2 hours with Nile, 1 hour for reading him books and the second for teaching how to read and write. Drake was dumbfounded by how fast his son learned and how Nile would absorb everything he taught him like a sponge. Elora was afraid of this fast progress as it was not uncommon for nations and large families to recruit geniuses who had the future potential to uplift their nation or family. She knew that Nile's achievement was anything but common and if the world came to know about him they would not spare any effort to recruit him even if it meant separating him from his family. For them, Nile would be just like a resource that could help them to rise in the ranks. Elora made sure any information regarding Nile's growth stayed in the mansion. Only Three people other than Elora and DRake knew about Nile's achievements - the head maid Kaya who has been working for the family even before Drake was born, Mia the maid who has seen Nile achieving these feats herself although she was new, Elora trusted her loyalty, and third was Drake and Elora's friend Darren. Darren was a 6 feet 9 inch bald man, barbarian like build with long brown beard. He had a large vertical scar on his face which stretched from his forehead above his left eye coming straight down to his cheek which he got while fighting a beast some years back. Darren was like a family member who has been with Drake and Elora in thick and thin since childhood. When drake first told him about Nile and how he was such a quick learner, Darren thought Drake was exaggerating things but once Darren himself saw Nile reading he was speechless, it took him a couple of seconds to close his wide-open mouth, and some days to digest the fact that a nine-month-old baby was reading and writing.

'Now as I have learned how to read I can go to the library myself and read more books on cultivation and this world. Father has taught me the basics of our Ablon Empire and our neighboring nations and some vague knowledge regarding this cultivation and about the monsters that roam this planet mostly in the dense forest area.'

In these past 3 months Nile learning was mostly about the world's geographical boundaries and their power rankings.

Two third (2/3) of the this world was covered in water, and the rest of the landmass divided into 7 nations- Ablon, Epilia , Pastelia , Otron Empire, Cheung ,Floreisten, Borax. Among these 7 nations, Otron Empire was the strongest as well as the largest nation which was more than twice in size as compared to the second-largest nation Pastelia. Otron even had the most population in the world, which made almost one fourth(1/4) of the total population in the world. Floreisten was the the second strongest nation with the third-largest landmass. Floreisten was a peaceful nation that rarely interacted or interfered with other nations. This nation had the 2nd lowest population as compared to others and two-third area of this nation was covered by forests. Even though Floreisten was the less populated than other top nations , it was home to some the strongest cultivators of the world. Pastelia was the third strongest nation with the second largest landmass with the 2nd highest population. The two nation Borax, and Ablon both stood 4th in terms of power and even the population shared by the two nations were almost equal. The land mass of Ablon was two-third of that of Borax. Epilia stood 5th in terms of power with 2nd smallest area. The last was the Cheung nation who was also known as the Nation of Mercenaries, this was the weakest in terms of power with the lowest population and with the least area. People in Cheung were mostly Mercenaries, different Mercenary groups operated throughout the nation. This place was said to be home to some of the most wanted criminals, this place was a haven for criminals and terrorist groups.

Ablon shared its boundaries with three nations Floreisten, Borax and Epilia. On the west Ablon had vast forest known as WildWitch forest and beyond that forest were huge rocky mountains which stretched throughout its west acting as boundaries between Ablon and Floreisten nation, on the North was Epilia nation, and the other two sides were shared with Borax. Even though Ablon and Borax had not fought any wars against each other in the past but still they had a strained relation, competing with each other for the 4TH power ranking. Epilia was neutral to both Borax and Ablon. These were some vague information about different nations of this world.
