Chapter 4: meeting other dragon slayers

WHAT!?

I was just told that I'm going to learn [dragon slayer magic] from Grandeeney, Weisslogia, Mercphobia and Aldoron! If I include the [moon dragon slayer] and [law dragon slayer] magics, I would end up having 6 elements of [dragon slayer magics] but one of them is more like [archive and sealing magic]; not suitable for combat.

Also, Since Grandeeney and Weisslogia were working with Igneel then that must mean that I am also in the plan to go to the future with Natsu and the other dragon slayers.

Not only that but I would also be learning from three future [dragon gods], moon, wood and water.

Father:"You will meet Grandeeney and Weisslogia next week for training."

Mother:"The week after that you will meet Mercphobia and Aldoron."

Me:"I see... you designed the training this way so I wouldn't be overwhelmed from trying to learn so many elements. Am I right?"

Father:"Perceptive as always." he said as mother nodded in agreement.

Me:"Well it makes perfect sense. I am essentially learning two types of dragon slayer magic each week."

Mother:"Oh, Mercphobia hand an odd condition for teaching you dragon slayer magic."

I can pretty much guess why, but might as well ask.

Me:"Let me guess, the condition is that if he ever lost control in the future that I would be the one to either seal or slay him?"

Mother:"!? How did you know that? Wait, it was from te memories of your past life right?"

Me:"Yes. In that world he was afraid of losing control of his power and causing many people who worshiped him to suffer."

Mother:"Worshiped him?"

Me:"Well you see..."

I then explained that in the Earthland that I know, several dragons left Ishgar to a Continent called Guiltina to get away from Acnologia. That 6 of those dragon would become known as the dragon gods of Guiltina and that Mother and her friends would be three of those six.

Mother:"So me, Mercphobia and Aldoron are three of them. Who are the other three?"

Me:"Viernes the gold dragon god, Dogramag the earth dragon god, and Ignia the fire dragon god."

Father:"I know of the first two but is this fire dragon god related to Igneel in some way?"

Me:"Actually, Ignia is the biologcal son of Igneel."

Father/Mother:"Seriously!? Igneel had a son!?" they said with shocked expressions.

Me:"In that world yes. but in this world I do not know if he has a child."

I wasn't lyng, since this world is so far slightly different from the earthland that know; I have no idea if Igneel has a child in this world and if he does i don't know if that child is a boy or a girl.

But is seems that two of the future dragon gods still exist in this world, but I not sure if there will be a fire dragon god in this world.

Father:"Well we will find out later."

Me:"Yes your right father."

Mother:"Why don't you tell me how your training was."

I then told mother how I learned to use [heavenly body magic] to master the star aspect of [moon dragon slayer magic]. I was able to learn most of the spells for that magic, I just need to learn to control it; especiallythe [meteor] spell so I don't crash again.

Father told me that Igneel asked if he was willing to use the [dragon soul technique] to prevent me from turning into a dragon like Acnologia and he said he would wihout a hint of hesitation. It touches my hear that he was willing to do that for me.

When we finished our discussion mother began to speak.

Mother:"Alright lets go to sleep for tonight." she said as she turned into her dragon form and brought her furry tail-like wings and continued. "I want you to sleep on my wings Albion."

Me:"Okay mother." I said as I climbed uo to get on her wings and layed down; the fur on her wings is very soft and comfortable. "Good night." I said as I fall asleep from the softness of mothers wings.

1 week later

After that talk with my dragon parents, I have ben training my [moon dragon slayer magic], [law dragon slayer magic] and [heavenly body magic]. I was able to use them well but I have not "mastered" them yet, as I haven't learned any [dragon slayer secret arts]. I was able to learn [law dragon slayer magic] since it is like an ancient yet superior verson of [archive magic] and using [archive magic] is like using a computer.

Today is the day I meet the other dragon slayers and learn from Grandeeney and Weisslogia. I am sure Natsu and/or Gajeel will try to pick a fight with me while Wendy and Sting will be curious about me since I will be learning the same elements that they are.

My parents and I were ready to head to meet them after we finished our breakfast. Mother and Father were in their dragon forms since we are going to fly there; Father is going to lead us there while Mother insisted on carrying me there.

About 30 minutes after we departed, I see more dragons in the distance; dragons that I recognize. Igneel, Grandeeney, Metalicana, Weisslogia and Skiadrum; they must be here with their "children", the other dragon slayers. It should be interesting, especially since two of them would become my "siblings" in a sense since I am learning magic from their parents.

the moment we saw them, we landed by them and I was let down as my parents greeted the dragons.

Father:"Hello everyone. I came here with my son as we discussed."

After my father said that all the dragons turned to look at me as if appraising me, tring to sense my magic power.

Igneel:"Hello Veldanava." he said to my father as he turned to look at me and continued. "So this is your child?" he asked.

Father:"Yes this is my son."

I stepped forward to introduce myself to the Natsus "dad".

Me:"It is an honor to meet you fire dragon king Igneel, My name is Albion Nava, I look forward to working with you." I said in a formal tone with a bow.

All the dragons were surprised that I greeted him the way that I did, but the other dragon slayers who I see th the corner of my sight looked confused.

Igneel:"It is a pleasant surprise that you have such manners when speaking to nobility in human kingdoms, but you don't have to act that way with me. Just call me Igneel."

Me:"Thank you Igneel. I know a lot about you and the other dragons here and I wanted to treat you with the respect you deserve." I said in a more relaxed voice.

I wasn't lying, I knew that these dragons were willing to do and how much they cared about humans. It was a shame that they were killed by Acnologia, maybe there is a way to prevent them from suffering that fate.

Grandeeney:"Such a kind and respectful child."

Igneel:"Yeah, I wish Natsu and Gajeel would learn that from Albion."

Metalicana:"I agree completely on that."

Natsu/Gajeel:"Hey!!"

The sight of Natsu and Gajeel getting offended by Igneels and Metalicanas statements made me and the dragons chuckle. Then mother came forward and started talking.

Mother:"Hello I am the moon dragon Selene. I have been acting as Albions mother while Veldanava acted as the father. It is a pleasure to meet you."

"its a pleasure to meet you too."x5 said the other dragons

Igneel:"I was curious as to why you chose to raise a human and teach them [dragon slayer magic]. If its ok to ask."

Mother:"It's ok, I can understand your curiosity. You see, when Veldanava found Albion as an infant I was curious, so I watched from my pocket dimension. When I first saw Albion I had a feeling that he was special; to my surprise the child noticed I was watching."

The dragons showed a lok of shock hearing that I noticed Mother was watching Father and me the day he found me. Considering that, I was an infant at that time, their srprise at hearing this was not surprising.

While the dragons are talking about how Mother came to be my mother, two of the other dragon slayers come to me.

Natsu:"Hello, my names Natsu Dragneel, the [fire dragon slayer]. What kind of magic do you use?"

Gajeel:"The names Gajeel Redfox, the [iron dragon slayer], so your being raised my two dragons huh? Doesn't mean your tougher than me."

Natsu and Gajeel introduced themselves while they look like they want to spar to see how strong I am. But I look at the other three younger dragon slayers; one with a competitive look in his eyes, one who looks shy and one who looks stoic.

Sting:"My name is Sting Eucliffe, the [white dragon slayer]. I hear your going to learn magic under my father Weisslogia. Well I won't let you beat me." he said with a competitive tone.

Rouge:"I am Rouge Cheney, [shadow dragon slayer], nice to meet you."

Wendy:"I-I'm Wendy Marvel, the [sky dragon slayer]. N-nice to meet you." she said with a worried tone of voice.

Me:"Nice to meet you all. My name is Albion Nava, I have been learning [moon dragon slayer magic] from my mom and [law dragon slayer magic] from my father."

Natsu:"Your learning two [dragon slayer magics]!?"

Me:"Yes but [law dragon slayer magic] is more for gathering and storing information. While it could be used as so it's not exact meant to be used in combat."

It is weird that [law dragon slayer magic] is like a draconic version of [archive magic] and at this time the only ones who could use it are my father. If I remember correctly the wizard known as Elefseria taught himself [dragon slayer magic]; maybe he originally had [achive magic] and used his knowledge to turn that into his own form of [dragon slayer magic].

Me:"Do you want to see some [moon dragon slayer magic]?"

Dragon slayers:"Sure."

Me:"Okay watch this." I said as I gather magic power to use the first spell mother showed me."[moon dragon moonlight butterflies safe version]."

As I cast the spell, butterflies made of moonlight appeared and were flying around us. I made sure this was the safe version so they don't get hurt, especially Wendy and Sting since they'll be like my little sister and brother.

The younger dragon slayers were watching in wonder at the butterflies, but Natsu and Gajeel were not as impressed. My guess they were hoping for something more destructive.

Gajeel:"That's it? Not very impressive."

Me:"Well that's because I am using a safe version of this spell."

Natsu:"Safe version?"

Me:"You see, the original version of this spell would have damaged anyone that was surrounded by the butterflies. But if you want something more combat oriented." I turned to a tree and raised my hand to show another spell. "[moon dragon moonlight piercing palm]."

Whe the spell was cast a beam of moonlight came out and hit the tree causing a hole to be made in the tree. I was going for more of a piercing attack to not cause too much damage to the tree and the environment.

Natsu:"Wow that's so cool!" he exclaimed.

Me:"This spell is usually more destructive but I decreased the power and condensed it for a more piercing affect. It takes a great deal of control over magic power to do that, you may be able to do this too with enough training."

Wendy:"D-do you really think we can be that strong?" she asked nervously.

It seems she is worried that she won't be able to live up to the expectations of our parents. I felt a smile on my face as I went up to Wendy and I placed my hand on her head to reassure her.

Me:"I know without a doubt that you can so have more confidence in yourself." I said looking at Wendy. Then I turned to the other dragon slayers and continued. "I know without a doubt that all dragon slayers here will become stronger. So make sure you learn from your parents, you understand?"

dragon slayers:"We understand."

Me:"Good.Looks like they finished talking." I said as the dragons look towards us and it seems they are glad that I am giving their children encouragement.

Grandeeney:"Well its nice to see you all getting along. I think it's time for Albion and Wendy to begin their lessons."

Wendy:"Ok mom."

Me:"I understand, Grandeeney-sensei."

Grandeeney:"Oh please, no need to be so formal. You'll be Wendys big brother, you can call me Aunt."

Me:"Ok aunt Grandeeney." Isaid then I turned to Wendy and continued. "How do feel about me being your big brother?"

When I asked Wendy about me being her big brother, she starts to fidget like a tiny animal. I've never had had a sibling in my past life and always wondered what it would be like to have a little brother or sister.

Wendy:"I don't mind you being my big brother." she said as she looked at me with big eyes.

Me:"Well now that we are family, just know that you can rely on me if you need help."

Wendy:"Okay."

After that conversation the other dragon slayers went with their parents to continue their lessons on [dragon slayer magic]. While I stay with my new little sister Wendy and learn [sky dragon slayer magic]. Maybe I could help Wendy become stronger then she was in the canon.
